Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm on the customer success team at ConvertKit. And the one thing that I would tell creators that are just getting started is to meet other creators. Form your network, make friends, have some— find somebody to help hold you accountable, build a mastermind, lean into your community, because the way that you're gonna get shit done is gonna be with other people.
What am I supposed to say? Hi guys, my name is Alexis Teichmiller and I'm the affiliate manager. A piece of advice I would give you as you start on this creative journey is to be be really intentional about finding your own voice. The internet's a loud place, and sometimes you can get caught up in comparison and looking at what everybody else is doing to be successful. And what the season of life that you're in right now, as you're just getting started as a creator, use this time to find your voice and make sure that you don't get caught up in the comparison trap. What you're going to create for your community is going to be special, magical, and you're going to create a lot of impact.
Hi, I'm Charlie.
I'm a designer on the marketing team here at ConvertKit, and I also have a lot of side projects. I'm a content creator myself. Some advice I would give to a new creator would be to be yourself. There's a lot of people online making content. You've probably seen a lot of people who are very successful making content, and I don't want you to feel like you have to copy what they do. You can blaze your own trail. You can be yourself. You can be successful doing your own thing, being you.
I am Isa, and I am the webinar producer at ConvertKit. My advice to creators is remember, as you're building an audience, whether it's subscribers or any kind of stats that you're checking, remember that those are real people. And if you're going week to week and you're seeing it's like 2, those are 2 people who want to know what you have to say, and that is how it all starts.
Can I swear in this?
Hey everyone, I'm in Seattle, Washington. My flight was delayed in San Diego and then I got kind of rerouted, so here I am. Check it out.
