In this short briefing, a bank employee explains how the organization is developing a custom, department‑specific AI assistant—referred to as the “ADB genie”—that operates within strict guardrails. The assistant is being tailored for each department to handle tasks such as email composition, document creation, presentation building, drafting, analytical work, administrative duties, and policy reviews. The team is also integrating widely used generative AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, and Google Gemini into daily workflows. Alongside these deployments, they are drafting a responsible AI framework to guide safe and ethical usage of these technologies.

And we are also trying to prepare on basis of these our own ADB genie, as they may say. And that is more of a very fixed and with guardrails for every different department. So we are customizing something for every department itself also. We mostly do it for the emails, for the documents, for the presentations. And moreover, taking the— making the use of the assistance to do drafting work, more of an analysis and administrative type of work. The bank is mostly at this moment, most of us are using it more as administrative work, but we are also utilizing in doing kind of analysis, interpretations. Policy reviews. So a couple of things that we have— we are working on. And again, at the end of the day, we are also preparing a responsible AI framework, how to use them. But that's another subject. In our day-to-day, we are using more of Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini.
