Megan Vigil performs a live cover of Tom Petty's "Free Fallin'" with karaoke backing. The performance includes spoken interjections about the San Fernando Valley and remarks to the audience between sung passages.
Love.
Get your cameras out. The song takes place in my hometown, the San Fernando Valley.
She's a good girl, loves her mama, loves Jesus, and America. All the vampires walking through the valley. I'm pressed down, bent over, up with the blood and all the bad blood. I'm staring in the shells at the good girls. I hold a broken heart, now I'm afraid. Hey, I'm ready for it. I'm ready for it. Free falling now, free falling now. Fly down over my hollyhock. I wanna live, live in the sky. I wanna free fall out into nothing. I wanna leave the earth. Oh, I'm overwhelmed. Yeah, I'm free falling now. Free falling, yeah, free, yeah, free, yeah, yeah, free falling, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Ah, ah, ah, ah, come on now. Free falling, I'm free falling. What are we doing? I'm free. What are we doing? We are free falling. Oh, they are out, they are free falling. Now I'm free falling. They are out, they are free falling. Now I'm free falling. Everyone, thank you so much for hanging out with us tonight. Keep a check close by to your fun time. See what time karaoke is going to be going on tomorrow.
