Fostering an attitude of gratitude towards our tenants, which at the end of the day, we believe that's the biggest asset that both we and our owners have. Going above and beyond is what you have to do in the service industry, and so we practice what we preach.
That over and above service, you know, making sure that, that they feel that sense of urgency to their request.
To check on their work orders and ask them, "Hey, has this been taken care of?
Is there anything else that we can do for you?" 'Are you satisfied with the service?' And they want to stay with us, whether it's in that unit or even transferring to another unit, because they like the way that we run our business, the way that they're treated.
Simply outwork the competition. We want to be open longer, available, and more accessible than the competitors. We want to be more friendly with not only our owners but our tenants. We want to strive to go the extra mile in everything we do in every way. That we're there for them, that we're there for their needs.
We listen to them when they're having a problem or a bad day. Some tenants just call us to talk, and while that's obviously not our job, it's good knowing that they're comfortable enough with us. They see you as a friend.
They come into the office and they know who we are. They know that we represent the owners, but we also represent them, that we're working on their behalf.
Again, we want our tenants to know that we're here for them, that we're looking out for their best interests, and if it's in our power, we're going to take care them. We're going to respond in a timely manner to resolve whatever issue they have.
