Hi, my name is Mendell Gosnell with Centurion Real Estate Management. Today I'd like to talk to you about radon and the risks in rentals and property management. So first off, what is radon? Radon is a cancer-causing gas that you cannot see, taste, or smell, and the only way to detect radon is by professional properly testing. Radon comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in the earth's soil and rocks in the soil. There's a little bit of radon in the air we breathe every day. Radon is found all over the place in higher concentrations in certain areas, and radon is a low to moderate risk in the Mid-Willamette Valley. Lastly, the most important thing is that you can fix a radon problem with the proper ventilation and mitigation system. And so, uh, if you have any concerns, test, and if you have high levels, mitigate. If you have further questions, give us a call here today at Centurion Real Estate Management, and thanks for watching. Happy investing.
