Email lists are owned leverage: sending to 100 or 1,000 subscribers takes the same effort. Instagram is platform leverage, meaning the algorithm controls your reach and you don't own the connection to your audience.
Have a hundred people on your email list. It takes almost no additional effort to. No additional effort to send that email to a thousand people, then 100 people. Yeah. If you have thousand people that follow you on Instagram like you will, that post you make is still, still that effort. Like, like it's still the same effort. I don't like the social media thing because then it's some. Someone else can mess with with your leverage. So Instagram is a leveraged asset. The problem is because you do not own the chain of custody from beginning to end of that person. You do not own the ability to scale like the Instagram owns the ability to scale.
