#1 Lawn Care & Landscape Business Conference (Behind the Scenes) w/ Mike Andes

This is a behind-the-scenes transcript from a YouTube video by Mike Andes documenting final prep for a Lawn Care & Landscape business conference. The chunk mixes practical backstage logistics (audio setup, props like a glass and platter, weights, batteries), short prayer and team gratitude, vlog/podcast-style self-introductions, informal banter with crew, and business coaching remarks about entrepreneurship—pricing strategy, profit margins, P4P (pay-for-performance), investing/loans, advertising and hiring. The tone is conversational, informal, and motivational with practical stage-management detail.

Lord, we just pray that you be with us, be with Mike, give him stamina, give him energy, be with Marcus, give him stamina, give him energy, clarity of thought. We just pray these things over. Mike and Marcus, just pray. It's a great weekend where we can witness and love everyone. We love you and praise you, Jesus. Name. Amen. All right. Bye. Bye. Do it. See you.
Freaking wet out, man. Nasty.
Josh, you just got two more, so let's go. So we can probably do a small one up front. Hey, that's what we should have brought in.
Ready for a nap?
Liability insurance doesn't cover this, Sam.
Well, we want to bring the big one into here and the small one at the.
All right, let's get that wireless. I think that's gonna be the easiest. Groucho. Five. Five. Probably five to eight footers, too. I can go. I can go hug the pole real quick. My wingspan is just over 8ft. I'll just go hug the pole. Coffee. The bare necessity of life. Right, but you guys are coffee before people.
Massive social experiment to see if I can last six days of talking.
Oh, man. On their way. That was five minutes ago. All right, well, let's get Lee and Liz in here. My goodness. Come on, guys.
Hey, April. Hey. Thanks for coming. I appreciate all your help. No problem. Everybody's very excited. Enjoy the conference in there. We will. We will. I'm like, I know you will. Your weights are up there. Your amino acids are up there. Okay. My weights are underneath. You have a water bottle if you don't want to bring that one up. Did you get a bl. I couldn't find a glass, and Lonnie's nowhere. I need a glass. A glass and a platter. I need the platter right off the edge of the stage. Okay. And then like a. Like anything to break it on. That will be loud enough to make the glass break. I just don't think so. Wait, you're dropping the platter? The platter's sitting. The glass is sitting on top of the platter. No, he's gonna smash the glass and drop it. Yeah, so I just. I just need a platter. That'll be easy. It's whether or not I have a glass that I can break. Right. I know. You pay for it. I'll pay. I don't care. I mean, yeah, just. I need. I'll have water, so just. That would be there. So I have my weights. Yep. White platter. My whiteboard's off to the left hand side still. Whiteboard, it is off the left. Okay. Cool. I'll go charity and then I'll put this up and then I'll come back. Okay. Well, we got it. We're five minutes behind. Yeah, I know. You have your charging block up there. I do, right underneath, yes. It isn't charged. It is charged. Because I will need that. I only have 30 on that. It burns the battery like crazy. Oh, the glass. Okay, so I'm just gonna trust it's up there. Can I see it? He just ran around the corner. Okay, that's fine. I just have to trust it. He had a platter and he had what looked like. Okay, cool. Yeah, I think I mentioned I'll mention my P for P thing. Like the moment when I was like wishing I had P.4P was at his event when you're talking. So I have a couple references to the book. Like, so when they read. They all got books. No, you didn't want it to be given until after your. Oh, Saturday morning. That's right. Yeah. How big is the glass? I was thinking about just not. Sorry. These are details. A regular drink glass. Regular drinking glass. It's a regular drinking glass. Thin. It's the thinnest we had. Okay. Okay, cool. Are you trying to do the whole bottle? I'll probably use 3/4. Probably like between 12 to 16. Somewhere in that range. Okay, cool. I'll make it work. Without putting your arm down.
That's what happens. A mess. All right. Trusting us. All right. So you guys heading out? Yeah. Yeah. Good stuff. Yeah, let's do it, man. Yeah, let's get a shot here real quick.
Yay.
That's how Steven feels. He's just not showing. Let's do this thing real quick. Thank you, Lord, for this day. Thank you for this team that you've brought to us. Put together that we could go out and love others and share our knowledge and.
Yeah, that's what we heard. Stupid rich style, right? Yeah. Let's hear it from our candies. Stupid rich. Stupid rich. Stupid rich. Stupid rich. Got it. I like it. I think there needs to be some more gusto. I don't know. Well, I'm thinking, you know, we got a full time media team. Oh, let's just play your video. Let's just play a video.

Every single day we try stuff and it fails and you just go, look, I was wrong.
Like, I will never be able to dunk a basketball my entire life. Does that prevent me from enjoying playing hoops? No.
That's what people need to realize, that you can still enjoy entrepreneurship. You can still make a good living. But you don't want to compare yourself. You should not compare yourself to anybody.
That's just self awareness. You're going to live a half of your life and that's who wins. The person who's content wins the game.
Be content and know what your moods are.
Oh, okay. Fantastic. All right. Thank you.
It's all about navigating through that storm, through that wind to get where you want to go. All that needs to happen is this.

You've negotiated with yourself that price and what you're worth is so far down here. The customer is seeing you so far on the right hand side with value that they'll accept whatever you give them. Because you have such a massive discrepancy between price and value.
Do you already have the infrastructure in terms of equipment? Yeah, I've been doing that. So really the investing in your business is probably gonna be advertising and hiring.

Back there on the sound system, twisting knobs and dials, doing his thing. You actually know he used to be a DJ back in the day. I believe it was 1847 that Lee first became a DJ. Yeah, he used to work on the Round table, working with knights and kings, doing DJ work for them. They call him the Jester. Lee, this is all a true story. You can find this in any history book across the entire world. Or zero turn. We're taking a zero turnaround. And now it's gonna be a history channel about Lee park, the man that made this all happen. The man, the myth, the legend, Lee Park. He's not even working on the audio back there. He's just Chatt.
