Lawns are getting destroyed here by a chafer beetle infestation. We're one of only a few companies that can deal with it properly too, because I went and got my pesticide license, which you need to treat for these beetles. So each bag is like $170 for treatments, but it covers 10,000 square feet.
Okay, so you're looking at like say three mid sized lawns here.
Yeah.
Okay, so 60, $70.
Yeah. Cost for cost.
Is it like a thousand bucks?
Yeah, depending on the size of lawn, between 1 and 2000.
Can we sell that for free? If someone signs up for mowing and winter services, that's.
A really good idea, actually. I like that because.
It'S relatively low cost of 40, 50, $60 to apply it on a lawn. I'd rather just take that hit and go get a whole bunch of mowing customers using that as the bait. They see the value of paying you $1,000 to mow their lawn for the year and make sure this never comes back. And this is what kind of protects you from someone joining in like fall. They already have the larva, so you can't fix it. Like you say, we have to have you on the whole season. And once we have you for a whole season, we treat the lawn, we mow the lawn, then you're covered, there's your warranty.
