There's one very simple way to be able to double the size of your home service business without spending any money in marketing. And that is doing follow up phone calls. And that is after the estimate has been sent to the customer, following up and calling them until you get a yes or no. 20 to 40% of most home service businesses that I see their estimates when I go to their page, a lot of them are just stuck in pending status. They've been sent and we haven't heard anything from the customer. They, they've been ghosted. And so if you want to avoid this, pick up the phone and keep calling until you get an answer. When the customer came to your website and filled out an estimate request form, or they called you, or they emailed you, or they responded to an ad, they did not do that in order to get pricing. That was not the end result they wanted. They wanted to solve a problem. And in order to be able to solve their problem, you need them to accept the estimate so you can go do the job and solve the problem. And so follow up relentlessly.
