A property management company serving Walmart owes $90,000 for street-sweeping and mowing services. They're avoiding calls and offering to pay in trucks instead of cash, which looks like asset liquidation. One person keeps working with them anyway to stay on Walmart's good side.
Those guys owe us over $90-some thousand right now.
That's the property management company for Walmart. Uh-huh.
All street sweeping or do you own— And mowing.
Oh, you do the mowing too.
We've tried to call them for months and they avoid it.
Why did we take payment with a truck though?
Because we were scared that they weren't going to pay us at all. Because when we were making our phone calls to everybody—
So they were like, hey, we'll pay $40,000 out with a truck.
No, they were telling us that ALF was going under.
So why are we still working for them? That's my stupidity.
I didn't want to lose that rapport with Walmart, even though I get it. It's not going to help us financially. I understand that.
But when your third party is paying with trucks, that's like a huge red flag. Yes. They're liquidating assets.
Yes.
They want you to get on the property because they get paid.
Yeah.
As soon as you stop that, Walmart will not pay them.
Right.
So the only way to actually have leverage is to stop service.
