Hey, everyone. Mike Andes here. Today is a very exciting day because the Mo Madness tournament has come to a conclusion, and everyone gets all hyped up about March Madness and all the great things that are happening. But today we have Mo Madness much more important than March Madness. We still have to compete with the NCAA this, you know, this month for just how much exposure we get. But very happy today to be able to have Kevin here in the center who is the lawn care juggernaut. And then we have Spencer on the right hand side, apparently is lost and trying to find his way inside of his house. Spencer with s.
So very excited day we have. The voting is wrapping up right now. We're going to announce the winner of the lawn the momo Mo Madness for the month of March. We're gonna be announcing the winner both for which one either Spencer or Kevin wins, as well as who had the closest bracket dating all the way back to the last week of March. So we're really looking forward to it. And before we kick it off, though, I want to go ahead and give the floor to first Kevin and then over to Spencer. Introduce yourself a little bit. Tell us about your channel, tell us where you're at and why you should think you should be the winner. Because it ultimately comes down to the deciding votes happening right now in the next few moments. So if you have not yet already, mikeandys.com vote, cast your vote. And it's going to be depending on how attractive they look. I know the. The beard action. Kevin definitely wins this game. Spencer's trying. He's working on it. Obviously, I have absolutely no game, therefore, I was not on the ballots because we just have absolutely no lawn care game or beard game when it comes to Mo Madness. But, Kevin, take it away. Give us a minute. Your best shot here in the hot seat as we enter the final round of Mo Madness. Go ahead.
Yeah, so I've got a lawn care juggernaut YouTube channel on there. I talk about business tips and different things, and I disguise it with the entertainment of mowing tall grass. That wasn't a planned thing and just kind of evolved that way, which is pretty cool because it started a worldwide trend of people going out and cutting grass for free. So I'm looking at what else I can get people to do this year. We're gonna jump in and dive in pretty hard this year and see what we can. What we can do for trends this year too.
Okay, well, we're gonna go ahead and jump into your channel here because we need to have Spencer kind of Break down here. Just, just how lousy of a job you've been doing here on the channel. So let's, let's hop back over here to Lawn Care Juggernauts YouTube channel. By the way, when you see my channel here, down here, of course, very, very low. We bow down to who. Who wins? Who.
Good. Now instead.
Sorry, I'm breaking up a little bit. One second.
You guys hear me now?
I can hear you.
One second.
All right, we're back on. We're back on board here. Espn, you know, goodness, they just don't pay us enough. All right, so we're still looking here at Kevin's channel. We have 33 million views. Almost 40 or 34 million views. 144 videos. So in the last 30 days though, we have almost a million views. Looks like recently had a kind of a bit of a pop here. So let's check out the videos recently. Long here juggernaut. Been really focusing on the shorts there. Kevin, tell us what the strategy is behind the shorts.
Lesson learned there with shorts, don't do them.
Why is that?
That did not work well for me. I lost 2,000 subscribers doing that. So if you do maybe put them out. I put, I dumped a bunch all at once because like, I just treated it like tick tock and tick tock. You know, I take the formula from dancing girls. So you got all the dancing girls, they put up like five to ten videos a day. So I'm like, okay, that's what you do.
Come on now. Come on, Kevin. I'd love to see the beard waving in the wind.
Yeah, it's majestic. But no, I would, I would highly suggest not doing TikToks if you're doing long form content, which, you know, Spencer and I are both doing long form content.
All right, so when I look at your most viewed videos, the first one is by far and away the most popular. This one hour, 52 minute video. Now I am going to take full credit for this because in the first 10 minutes of this video dropping was the first video I ever watched of yours. And, and I don't know why, I don't know if we were planning our interview together back then or what, but I watched this video and from there took 11 million views. So I want to take full credit for that, but I want you to give the background on this. 1 hour and 52 minutes. Like who sits and watch a guy mow lawns for two hours beside the customers that we do not want? So please explain. Are you just being the entertainment to all the customers that none of us want because they watch you mow a lawn for two solid hours.
I've done a lot of analyzing on that video to figure out what I did right. And I'm still trying to figure it out because of ours. That's ridiculous. It's like watching a really long. How long is Titanic? It's got to be pretty close to that.
But yeah, there are a lot of people that said they watched the whole thing. I thought that was pretty surprising. But you know, I just thought that was going to be a.
A junk video. I just needed to get one up. So I went around, driving around and I'm like, yeah, you know, I'll cut that one. It didn't look like anything special. And cut the yard, put it up, had no expectations for it and it blew up.
Look at that hard working guy.
Yeah, I think the humor in there helped quite a bit in the beginning. They say the first 30 seconds are the most important.
That's awesome. So you do a lot of voiceover in this one. Specifically, how has that strategy worked out since then? Have you kind of like that, adopted that strategy or focus more on just the videos themselves?
Yeah, so I've got two channels. One's the boring channel and one's Juggernaut. And on the boring channel there's no voiceover and it does really well. And then on this one I have voiceover and as long as I stay on topic, the videos do really well. And this is a two hour long video so I could pick several topics and they on topic, no problem. But yeah, I don't plan on making my videos that, that long either. I just go with what, what makes a good video. So.
You know, if you speed it up too fast, it messes the audio up, you know, get real squeaky. So I typically don't go past a certain point. So that wasn't planned either.
Very cool. All right, Kevin, you've had your moment of fame. Let's go switch it over to Spencer to talk about Spencer's our SB mowing here. Let me switch it up and show that channel. But before we do, Spencer, introduce yourself. Because like you said, we've never talked before, but you know, sometimes when you win things, people bring attention your way. So, you know, the media team said, you got to talk to this guy. He's pretty cool. Does stuff outside of lawn care as well, I hear. Talk to us a little bit about your channel, how you got started, and also your business as well.
Yeah, so I'm relatively new. I think I started six Months ago, when I uploaded my first video, um, it kind of blew up just all out of nowhere. I think my, my first video on TikTok got like something like 5.7 million views. And then my second video on YouTube.
I think it's. It's almost hit 10 million now. So it's. It. It just kind of blew up out of nowhere. And then, well, while that one was going off, I got a voice message when I was just out mowing my normal clients lawns.
From Kevin here, and he's just like, hey, man, I've seen like, like your videos are going crazy and you've only got a couple up. You're doing awesome. You should, you should come to gie with us. We'll. We'll road trip. So we did, and Kevin and I have been becoming pretty good friends. And so, yeah, now I'm just waiting for the grass to start growing here.
It's awesome. So let me jump into your channel here. These are your. Your channel. It looks like recently you had a massive uptick in the amount of views. You must have had some sort of a banger. So let's check it out. Oh, this. Is this the 243,001? That one's been taken off. Yes.
That was a job I did for my sister. Yeah, just doing a couple power washing ones just since grass hasn't.
You know what, why did I not get an advertisement before that?
I don't know.
That's crazy. I know, man. You gotta make sure we get that money bread for this stuff, man. Oh, man. Cool. All right. Like and subscribe. Let's go. Hey, by the way, long hair juggernaut. Speaking of tick tock, I saw your one with the circles in the driveway. That was crazy. That was pretty cool.
Spencer. Spencer.
I saw that. I saw that. You guys are just. You're collaborating to try to collude. To win this, I truly believe we are gonna have to throw out the results from this entire Mo Madness challenge because our two top contestants are collaborating now. So I feel like there's definitely some collusion happening.
Dog grass, guys, for the win.
You got. You got several videos inside of here. Let me go and pull this up that have taken off. Let me go ahead and share this screen real quick. Share that.
Tell us about a couple of these ones. Specifically this one we were just talking about. We're doing the pressure washing. Is there a rhyme or reason up? There's an ad. Let's go. Is there a rhyme or reason? What makes a good video that you've seen currently? On YouTube.
Honestly, I have no idea. It's a big blessing from the YouTube gods.
I think.
Like, what I've told a lot of people, what I think some of my successes have has come from, is that.
I've kind of been a YouTube addict for a while. So, like, like, like every day I, I, I watch YouTube. And not specifically lawn care, just anything I'm interested in.
A lot more than I probably should be. And so once I started making videos, I kind of already knew what I liked. And so I kind of made my videos to something that I would watch and that I would enjoy, and it just took off. So.
Yeah, that's awesome. Very cool. All right, well, before we reveal who the winner of the challenge is, I'm going to go ahead and bounce over to Give me one second here, and I'm going to ask a and see if either of you pass the ballot. Kevin, did you cast a ballot?
I don't. Maybe, Possibly.
Maybe, maybe, possibly. I have to check. We do track everyone's name. Did you have a chance at two at all, Spencer?
I did last round.
Good. Did you vote for yourself? That is the absolute key question here.
Yes, I voted for myself. Let's go.
Confidence. Okay, so, so let's see here. Let's go ahead and pull up the bracket. Kind of just recap. Before we share who won the overall, let's go ahead and go through exactly what's happened so far. So we started off with Stanley the dirt monkey. Lawn care Nut Lawn care Juggernaut. Copper Creek cuts Owl blades. Top notch. Ryan Knorr. Brian's lawmates. Keith Kalpas. Blades of grass. Great guys. All great guys. But it's all come down to this moment. Spencer and Kevin. Um, so the winner of the challenge is going to get either $2,000 cash or I'm going to send my team out, film them for an entire day, take pictures, all the rest of it. Then also we're gonna have another winner. We'll also get to choose one of these two prizes, and that will be one of the audience members that's watching right now that had the closest bracket. Okay, so who got the closest to actually winning this.
One of these Every single round? And we basically did it where every single round got more and more valuable. So if you had the later rounds more weighted, then you won a lot more points. So let's go ahead and reveal the winner. I'm going to bounce over to the actual standings here. Now, I did not look today because I was busy, but I'm going to assume that Someone today made a post about it because all of a sudden, in the middle of the day, it came roaring back in one of your directions. And so it became a landslide victory. And so let's go ahead and reveal the results. A little bit of a drum roll there come from Kevin. Let me go ahead and exit out of this. Let me bounce into the actual results right here. Boom. Boom. Okay, let me see. All right. Make sure. I got to make sure I have the right winner, because last time I was very shaky on that. Accidentally put the wrong winner in the post. That was horrible. Oh, man. O. Here we go. Let's go ahead and share this. And the winner of Mo Madness 2022 is Spencer from SV Mowing. It's a landslide victory. You know, they talk about the blue wave, Kevin, but you really just kind of lost out on this one.
Who markets the most? And Spencer, I was talking to him a little bit ago, and I was like, hey, man, you think he's gonna win? He's like, well, I did share it out to everybody in my dorm.
As for friends, family, relatives, if you really love me, you'll vote for me now. So cool. Well, I appreciate you guys both hopping on here, but now we're going to go ahead and reveal who is the closest bracket. And so of those watching and listening, who voted for every single round and then was able to get the closest bracket in terms of the winner. So let me go ahead and pull that up. Give me one second here, and let me just pull. Make sure these are still accurate. Yep, we're good there. And the winner in terms of the bracket, like, hey, we're not giving away. What was it? Didn't Warren Buffett offer, like a million dollars or something? Whoever get a perfect bracket in March Madness anyways. That is impossible. But at least here we only have, like, 16 people competing. So let's go ahead and.
Oh, really?
Pull this up. Share this screen. Boom. The winner. This is their bracket right here. And the winner is Kaden. Kaden Limone. I'm gonna say that that way. This is his bracket that he had from day one. So he got two rounds wrong. He got all these correct. Now, I don't know who Kaden is, but Kaden, you're gonna have to reach out to me. DM me on Instagram, send me an email. You can go to mikeannies.com there's probably an email somewhere in there. Let us know.
That's one of my friends.
No way.
Are you.
Hey, at least he voted for you to win.
Hey, he did Good friends.
We have good friends here. That's crazy. Does he actually watch, like all these channels?
He watches me. He watches Kevin. I know.
Oh, now we're gonna have a little bit of a beef here because he's playing favorites now if he watches us.
But he watches Top Notch. I noticed he voted Top Notch on there too.
Oh, wait. Oh. At least he had you winning till, you know, this. This exact round. Look at that. He's voted it, like, almost perfectly there. You just got Keith wrong. What'd he get right? No, he got Brian's lawn maintenance and the lawn care nut. That was the only two he got wrong. That's crazy. So. All right, well, there it is. So now that Spencer's won $2,000 or the media trip, do you know which one you're going to take now, Spencer?
I don't know.
All right, you're gonna have to collaborate with your other partner in crime there. That's also one that. That's gotta be rigged, man. Maybe like you guys all collaborated and say, okay, so you guys vote this week. We'll vote this week. We'll like switch it up. That's $4,000 just wrong for me, man.
I don't know, man.
Coming up, man. I bet you he takes that 2K.
Let's go. Hey. Or hey. Or you can have the media team there for the wedding day.
That's true.
That's awesome. When you getting married? July.
July 9th.
Yeah. Good for you, man. Well, awesome. Well, I appreciate you both coming on here. I guess then I'll. I'll leave it up to Spencer to make sure that he tells Kaden that he's actually won the money. So I really appreciate all of you guys being on here. And congratulations, Spencer Long care Juggernaut. I guess you just have to make some more banger videos, you know, 75 of the audience just, you know, swinging towards your accomplice here. Hey, hey.
This is the man that started the wave here. Like, he's.
He.
He's the one that got me into. He's the one that got a lot of guys into it.
He's not always the early adopter. It's not always the early adopter that wins the game. You know, you gotta. You gotta consistently beat the game and, you know, it's like you're juggernaut. It's just, you know, he's been focused so much on the beard lately. Just the game's been kind of suffering. It sounds like. No.
He'S gonna take that to heart.
Well, thanks for coming on, guys. I appreciate you guys being good sports and thanks for everything you do for the lawn care community and entertaining us, giving us a laugh occasionally and also some educational tips here and there. So I really appreciate it. Take care.
Later, man.
Bye, guys.
Awesome. Well, there you have it. That is the conclusion of Mo Madness. Congratulations to Spencer from SB Mowing. Congratulations to his friend Kaden. I'm sure glad Kaden at least voted for him to win. Like if it would have been kind of a little awkward if he would have done all the rounds correctly and then voted for Spencer to lose. So a lot of fun. Thank you for everyone that has over the past month been contributing and voting for every single one of the rounds and it's a lot of fun. I appreciate it. Have a great rest of your day. Great weekend. Friday evening. Appreciate you guys tuning in and we'll see you tomorrow.
