Mike Andes (speaker) describes that his truck recently received a replacement motor that he was charged $7,000 for. The motor was not truly brand-new (more like a used/junkyard engine installed), and within about two weeks it began sputtering, burning excessive oil, and showing signs consistent with a long-stored scrapyard engine.

You can't give us a motor, charge us $7,000 and it's not working two weeks later. So last week this truck literally got fixed. Ie got a brand new motor in it. I shouldn't say brand new because it was not brand new, but it was new to this truck. However, within two weeks, the motor is sputtering, burning a bunch of oil and using a motor that is pretty apparently sitting around for the past couple years, probably in some scrapyard that stinks.
