Short YouTube clip (uploaded April 9, 2023 by Mike Andes) where multiple speakers criticize contractors who rely on Facebook Messenger/automated messaging instead of answering traditional phone calls. The speakers emphasize that many customers are older and prefer phone calls; contractors who ignore phone contact risk losing business.

We tried to use the old fashioned phone to get a mowing quote from several different contractors, but instead, this is what we got.
JL Lawn Care.
I'm sorry, but the person you called.
That'S that.
As a contractor, you got to remember that your customers are probably 20, 30, 40 years older than you. And if they want to use the phone to contact you, you better be picking up the phone like, oh, no, I'm going to use a Facebook automated messenger. If they don't want to communicate that way, you're never going to get customers.
