This is a YouTube video titled "Fired🔥 for disrespect 😒" created on November 12, 2024, featuring Mike Andes discussing a situation where he fired an employee for disrespecting a newly promoted general manager, Lee, to establish leadership standards in the business.
Firing is what will create the standard in the business. Until then, it's just a suggestion. And so the day that I promoted Lee into the general manager position, one of our most experienced project managers did not like it. He thought he should have got that position. They were loading up for the day, getting all the equipment, and Lee was trying to help him, just like, reminding him of some of the tools, some of the materials that needed on the job. He turns to Lee and was like, trust me. I got this in a very condescending way. And so that day, I fired him. Like, immediately. Everyone realized, oh, Lee is the leader, and we fire based upon disrespecting the leader.
