I'm driving this RV from Raleigh, North Carolina to Bellingham, Washington. Dude, today is the turnaround. No laughing, man.
I'm really nervous about this one. I'm not gonna lie.
We were really nervous about it too.
Our goal is to turn around 10 businesses in the next 10 days. Even if everything goes smoothly, I just want you to not have that pressure.
Four days of this is hard. Ten days of this is just insane.
It was brutal. I was trying to crawl to my phone to text Brian.
That's showing signs of sleep deprivation.
I've had her lack of sleep before. Sleep wasn't guaranteed. And I know that's hard to hear. My name is Mike and and I travel the country fixing struggling businesses. We need more time.
The lack of sleep is.
And today I'm taking you behind the scenes as we take this RV and do just that.
We gotta get going.
We will close at about 9 o' clock tonight.
Arrive at campsite before 4. 9. Yeah, we'll probably be closed by the.
Time you guys get in.
We want to make home service business owners rich, right? And we say very blunt on the nose that people get. Just get it going down. We're going down, folks. I think we're be driving. It just hit a wall of rain, like no rain. And then immediately.
The fall of a Little America has happened. You think America's bad? Wait till you get to Little America. It's way worse.
How you feeling? Nine days into this, or eight days or whatever it is.
Ready for my own bed.
How about you, Mike? How you feeling?
I can't hear it. Because of our feelings.
That's true. Some days when I wake up, I feel like I'm dangerously close to a religious vision.
You're stuck somewhere between the soul and eternity. Just crawling back, literally.
Piece of nails. I got this.
I'm coming back.
You're the only one I haven't asked. How are you feeling? Eight, eight, nine days into this.
Last night, though, was the hardest drive, I will say, because I was a little upset because that little drive right as we enter Utah, a stunning cop here and you won't get to see it. But it was raining and the rain created a perfect reflective layer on the road. Couldn't see a single line.
Love to hear that.
That was real sleepy. Tough drive.
Oh, glory to.
And inject some of that Celsius in my veins room. I. I texted the leadership team at like 11:30 last night and they still haven't got back. None of them even seen it. We only slept. I slept four and a half hours here Let me see how long I slept.
5 hours. Short. Non restorative.
4.8. Non restorative is like, literally the bane of my existence on this trip. Every, like, 30, 40 minutes, waking up Brianna pulling the covers off of me every hour on the hour, doing, like, closet. Dude, today's. The turnout is no la.
I'm really nervous about this, but I'm not gonna lie.
Why is that?
I just don't know what to ask them. Like, I don't want to trigger anything. You know what I mean? I don't want to, like, send them spiraling.
Hi, my candies. My name is Emma.
I'm Sam.
And we are the owners of Powerhouse Floor Removal. We've been in business for about three and a half years now.
And Mike, we've kind of hit a breaking point or a rock bottom point this year where our projected revenue is 800,000 so far this year, the last three months, we've had a complet. Complete negative profit.
And that's really terrifying as our payroll is 12,000 to 14,000 every two weeks. So we're really hitting rock bottom right now, and we really need your help.
It's the fact that he doesn't want to work in the field. And when someone pulls the mental health card, like, what do you do? No, dude, pony up, keep hustling. And then she doesn't want to work because she has the kids. With both valid reasons.
But he was obviously okay with talking about it in the testimonial, which was wild. I did not expect him to be that open about it.
This could very well be like, hey, let's close the business.
Sam's been going through this with mental health issues. I'm sure that lots of business owners go through a similar thing. We're trying to get Sam more out of the business where he's not doing as much of the labor work and really just running the business. So we are in desperate need of the systems and the leadership and financial clarity that comes from a professional like you.
It sucked a lot of the cash and put us in a spot that.
I tried to take my life because it was pretty dark and pretty bleak.
And our employees, they noticed that the effect that it was having on us is affecting the morale. Performance was going down in the company.
Yeah. So we're in desperate need of help, Mike.
So is the alternative, like, him getting it?
Get a job, Just a job. Operations, Manage someplace. I don't know. I'm not saying that's what. Hey, I'm not gonna push for that. But yeah, I'M gonna ask the question. Do you think it's just not in the cards financially for them to get operations manager or. It sounds like maybe that's Nigel any. It's like. I think it's more of a leadership thing. Like, if you can't manage the manager, it's gonna be bad. Yeah. That's why only. They only have one employee. So this one's right here.
Yeah. Must be six.
You finally wake up. Oh, that's a big alarm we have because we gotta leave. 10 minute warning.
Do you think we should vlog this one or like, not and afterwards?
Oh, yeah, you should definitely vlog. Everything should be vlogged. Okay. Why? What do you mean?
I don't know. I'm just nervous.
You're just nervous? What do you mean?
I'm just nervous about vlogging it. I feel like it adds another level of, like, poking and prodding.
No, we're not poking and prodding. I'm gonna talk to people. Like, I would if these cameras are not here. And I could care less about whether or not Mike does.
The thing is, there's a thousand other people that watch this that don't talk about this stuff. And it's because of the way even your mentality, like, oh, I just want to back up, is what everyone does. And therefore all the people that struggle with this feel like they're all alone. And then they take action on it.
If it gives you any confidence, I trust your ability to read the room. You'll know. I feel like once, two minutes.
This.
Okay, perfect. Do you mostly do the admin side? Yeah, yeah. So I do like, all the. All the admin work. So, like, accounting.
Office work, training, hr, all that kind of stuff. You were so sharp with the numbers on the application. I was so impressed.
It comes up a lot. So, like, I'm not like, completely in unchartered territory, but you never know. Every person deals with it so differently. And so, like, usually you can push someone with mental health, you gotta be careful because you don't know all the nuances of their situation. And so you gotta be very, very sensitive to. I don't wanna be the person that pushes this person over the edge. And the fact that he has openly admitted on the application that he tried, quote, tried to take his life puts it to the level of like, okay, that's the line I will not cross when I'm pushing someone. And so I'll.
And I think it's important, honestly, for people watching to know that he said that because they. They will see A different version of me. The way I push them. Yeah, we're doing it right here.
We are. We really want to make a life for our kids, and I feel like, with the current, like, jobs that we have right now, like, that the world has right now, that, like, we just feel like the business is the best way to be able to, like, make our dreams come true.
Ultimately, I'm trying to make them hit their goals, and their goals right now, as it stands, is to stay alive and to be able to protect their kids between the two of them. And so that's the actual goals. And if the business is not serving them in that way, then they should quit. The business.
Guy who worked with Woody on the stage.
That's me. That's me.
So that one was a fun one. Sweet. Let's rock and roll. Let's do it.
I feel like the happiness and stress levels is pretty crazy because it's like, either you're, like, you're always stressed because either you're stressed about not having enough work or you're stressed about having too much work. So you're just always stressed. So it's not like the stress never goes away. He's the most stress.
Yeah. I heard you chatting to them about how that other side of the mountain is, like, so pretty. I was so upset. We drove in at, like, like, 10:30 in the rain. Really? They didn't get to see any of it. I was like, should we just, like, swing back through there so you guys can see it on our way out? Yeah. It is stunning over there. I grew up in Colorado, so I was doing that drive all the time. Cool. All right, I'll go grab Mike.
I love that some people, like, they have enough money where they click my candies, or he can come and, like, he did this for free for us. Like, that's a big deal. We want to be kind of those type of people that have enough money that we can't do that. And we felt like business would be the course to take in order to do those types of things. So I feel like that's kind of why we wanted to do it.
Yeah. Are we just gonna be coaching here? Yeah.
Let'S go here. I'll break it up. Yeah, absolutely.
We don't have a.
You know, we don't have, like, an official space. I know.
She was.
She was talking. She's like, yeah. The last. She watched the video, and she's like, we have a big shop and everything. I was like, we run it out the side of our. We have a gravel Pit on the side of our house. That's all you need. Like as soon as the owner loses passion for the business and doesn't want to be there, the business is something, period, full stop. There's no, there is no turning around a business that the owner does not want to show up, is not present, doesn't want to be there.
Business is done. It's such that someone much tension to want to provide, but then also be the person you need. Yeah, right. Yeah. And so I think the common respect for both of you that there's a lot of pressure on you to provide and be what she needs. There's a lot of pressure on you to want to be a great mother, but then be pulling the direction of this business that is currently hurting you, taking him away and not providing for the family.
Yeah.
So it's very difficult. Also, I think growing a business together is like having a kid and if you can actually birth the thing and it becomes something cool, there's nothing more uniting.
Yeah.
And so I want, I want to see that that's like the actual goal. This other stuff is just like, how do we make that happen? But like, that's the goal is that in 12 months you were like, we did this, we created systems and if something happens, we have backup systems to make sure someone else gets in this admin role. And the phone's not ringing.
Yeah.
Is that when you are with her, you can be more present.
Any immediate thoughts after?
I thought it was pretty crazy, like when they, they actually separated for a bit because of it. So when that happens, that's when you're like, okay, this is like, we need to deal with this as like number one problem. And then the fact like she hears all the problems and then basically has to put that on his plate, which then causes her pain because she doesn't get to see him. And then also causes the business to lose money. It's like a wham, wah, wah, just like beating her up. And then his pressure of like having trying to provide is brutal. So knowing that he's not like meeting her needs at the same time, it's brutal. So that was good. It just goes to show like how much like a personal, like your personal relationship just so important. I feel like for too long, I don't know, we were like punching at the moon, like just wasting energy for nothing because like we were trying to figure out systems. And then like, I don't know, we just have a route to go. Climbing up the ladder, but on the wrong wall. Like, look, growing a business when you're trying in a relationship. I've actually, like, I've never been this phase where it's so hard with a relationship. Like, I've only recently got married and I fortunately got past that. Congratulations. Thank you. I cannot imagine. I, I, I, I've talked to Brian about this. I cannot imagine the pain you're going through as a provider, wanting to try to make this work and willing to work your fingers to the bone and work 24 hours if needs be, but also feeling the obligation and the need and the desire to be with. Like, I can't even fathom it. Cuz, like, I know how, how many hours I was putting in. And like, I would not have blamed K. Yeah. Like, really? And so forgive each other for that stuff. Cuz, like, it's brutal. But we have a plan in place to move forward. Yeah. And so if we can just stick to this, like, hey, six months and six months. I do believe in 12 months this is better. And there will be moms along the way. Stuff will come up, but we just got to see. So I feel like that's what we were doing. A lot of times we were just like, punching at the men. We were like, trying to figure out, like, okay, when you put all our effort into fighting this battle, but then it's like, that's not battle. You need to fight. Like, you're getting nowhere with that. So getting that direction, that course correction, and being like, hey, like, just focus 100 on this client. Then.
Not all your problems are solved. A lot of probably tough to ask her to work six more months when she's like, I want out today. Yeah. I knew, I knew, though, that if we had a plan, she'd be okay with it, but I needed her buy in right from the get, so then I could just actually create the plan because the business can't afford the immediate. Again, the perfect world. Like, all right, so go hire someone. In a few weeks, you'll be out. And they don't have the systems in place to do it.
But I also know she's like, she's a tank. Like, she's just so good on admin stuff. She's super solid.
I just want to be like, I, I'm very proud of you. And like, man, going into this one, I was really nervous for this one, honestly, because I had, like, a lot of people around me who have gone through that, and I was really scared.
And we were really nervous about it too.
Yeah. Like, last night she was like, so.
Like, Sam, what do you want me to say? Say about that? Like, am I okay to say that? Like, what is okay?
I was like, we're just gonna go for it. Like, so.
I feel like lots of people struggle with that.
So. Yeah, that's true.
So thank you for coming to help us.
And like, again, I would just say this. Today, something bad will happen, and you'll get dragged in the field. You'll be long. Like, something that's gonna happen. That's why I'm thinking 6 months and 12 months. Because, like, you're gonna feel bad when that happens. But now we have a plan in place. We just need to execute on these few things. And so in the micro, we're gonna fail. Both of us, right? As partners, as getting home on time, we will fail in the short term. But in the long term, we need to hit these benchmarks. We need a vacation. I don't. I don't care. There. You can plan a vacation without paying for it. You can book this thing at a certain time, which is six months from now. Have that conversation with Balin. Get him on the numbers. Understand? Make everything very clear to him. Make sure he's understood that he is very valuable to of this business because it would be very difficult without him right now. Yes. Yeah. So I liked how too. It was like, it was very linear. It was like fixed admin. Then you can fix operations, allowing you go to sales. So, like, lowest leverage to highest leverage. And like, how that is what grows the business. Like, we didn't even talk about, like, marketing strategy, website leads. It's just like. Just by the owner being able to focus on the higher leverage task, the business will organically grow. Like, there's always. There's always peace. I guess.
It might take time, but it'll come.
That's true. Also, like, one of my favorite sayings is like, no winter lasts forever.
Yeah.
You know what I mean? This sucks now, but, like, we'll get through it.
Yeah.
Appreciate you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I think a lot of people need to hear that right now.
Cool. Can we do one with the sheet, too? Oh, yeah, sure. Awesome. Oh, my pleasure. Yeah. This is ours. Yeah.
Cool.
Do you want to either a, drop us off at the gym and go to the work spot or go to the work site and then go back down to the. I don't know. Let me look at the map. Hey, everyone, it's Mike Andes. I want you to save a date on your calendar. It's on Black Friday. Now, usually on Black Friday, you spend a bunch of money on this Black Friday. We're gonna have three to four hours worth of training. I'm gonna be doing a live stream. And you sign up@mikeandys.com Black Friday and instead of spending money, you can make money and increase the size of your business, your revenue, and your profits. So go to mikeandys.com Black Friday, save your spot because the space is limited. And we'll be filling up those spots very, very soon.
We have an anytime fitness about seven minutes north. So that would add 14 minutes round trip, but would save us time later if we actually stopped to work out after the fact, you know.
How far is the drive tonight?
Seven, four and a half hours.
Four and a half. Oh, we got a lot to Dylan either way. Six.
Wait, what?
We're meeting and I guess the owner.
At 6, but then on the way we're gonna do 4L framework and Mike minutes like you said. I think we just do it once we get to the anytime fitness. Okay. Just that way we're not doing it in the rv. Yeah, yeah. Anywhere that either at the end of time fitness or a park on the way or anytime.
That ancient fitness is perfect because there's a Walmart right there. So I could just knock that out.
Too sick. And there's a park right behind it. Sandridge Park. And a Wendy's and a coffee shop.
It keeps getting better.
Track to make $16,000 a year. But they haven't taken patient in the stretch in the business. Carrying your family apart. That's nice and concise.
I agree.
We're talking about a non lawn care and landscaping video. How do we get people to watch after the first 30 seconds? Today we're in Utah visiting Sam and Emma from Powerhouse Flooring Removal. The business on track makes $600,000 this year. But they haven't taken a paycheck in months. The stress from the business is tearing their family apart. I think marriage might be stronger. Yeah. Yeah. It'll resonate more. Yeah, I think tearing their marriage apart.
Your superior wisdom.
So cool.
Whoa, look at those mountains. Beautiful.
Gets up there real quick or close.
Very uncomfortable to do those calculations.
The stress. The business is tearing their marriage apart. This the business turnaround show. That will be the key in the unlock to go from $600,000 in revenue all the way up to a million dollars.
When it comes to like that grind mentality where you're like, okay, I just make it through this. Like, do you think there's an important cutoff point for, like, I guess it's like personal to everybody.
It's important when it comes to relationships. And your spouse that they're on board. But to do that, we've got to communicate. And a lot of times having a.
Timeline, I feel like we, we should have something else. But we're all in such a little sleep that we can't quite hit it.
We'll be together for the rest of the day. Okay, let's sing on it. Well, it's good if it's here. Like, okay, what's the objective of this episode? Like, what makes this episode different? It is the relationship part, and I think everyone's going through it, but no one talks about it because they, they don't identify as a problem. And if they don't see the problem, I can't talk about it.
Excuse me, I'm in the way.
Thanks, guys. Yep.
Yep.
Thank you, guys.
See you.
Dude, I can't read what it says. How am I supposed to know?
Oh, it. Did you flip your car?
Yeah, I was nervous. Like, I, I, I was also like, oh, should we kind of split him up to do an interview? But considering the goal of the episode, I was like, it'll be better for them to be together in the episode.
Exactly. That was my thinking too.
Probably some more stuff I can't think of because of the lack of sleep.
That's good.
Like, my brain is literally just on empty, Perpetually running on fumes.
10 days of this is hard. I feel like four days of this is hard. 10 days of this is just insane.
Yeah.
I feel like four days of this is what we usually do, which is sick and cool. 10 days. This is starting to feel like actual. The torture, sleep deprivation.
Out.
The wait, bro. It's kind of insane.
We're getting better. Out.
Got him.
That could fall. He's throwing down. Oh, no. He's hauling out. Oh, he's hauling out. Who's going to carry the boat?
Oh, yeah.
So sick.
This is his working interview. He's trying to get off the camera. I'm so tired of it.
Oh, it's on.
It's not working.
Oh, it wasn't recording. Just push it harder. Just keep going.
He's a sail.
Wild. Yeah, man. I think that's our cue. But these gets too wet. All right, well, thanks for having. Seriously, it's been really good. No, we love having you guys. You guys are ever in the neighborhood again.
Thank you, man.
This morning we're throwing around numbers. Like, three hour drive, four hour drive. It's four hours and 40 minutes, which in this RV and with, like, human breaks, five and a half. That's like five and a half minimum drive. So we will be immediately departing once we go pick up Mike and Brianna from the gym. We were kind of all hoping to take a nap because I think the most anyone slept last night was like four hours. So we're hoping to sleep a little, but I think I'd rather drive and get there before night time. We can sleep tonight.
That's what you said the last nine days.
We did sleep yesterday. The day before yesterday, sleep wasn't guaranteed. Sleep isn't on the itinerary.
Technically, that's the problem. You know what?
I think we found the problem. Sleep isn't on the Iterator. Not even one time. The word sleep isn't even written down. When is campsite. It's a stay. It's a stay. Sleep is never in the itinerary. So we're on schedule. We're crushing it. Turns out we're winning.
It's crushing us.
Dude, just eat your Oreo and shut up.
Just eat your freaking Oreo and shut up. It'd be really funny if you had your itinerary and you're getting pulled over. So you quickly add a line item that says get pulled over in the time, and then you're like, sorry, I'm just trying to follow this itinerary. It's pretty tight. It says, get pulled over by the.
Handsomest cop in all of Utah. What?
We all sing a song and then we drive away? No team. Wow.
We're too good.
We're too good.
Did I pass where they're at? Hold on.
Where are we?
I really map far away from us.
Okay. We haven't left him yet. That was close, though. I was like. I was literally thinking about. Oh, yeah, see, we're heading the complete wrong direction. Hold on. Oh, at least there's a lot of traffic. I don't know if we're going to turn right at this light. We actually. I think we're forced to turn left.
Yeah, we're going to, man. We have to turn left here. Oh, man. Sorry, Mike and Brian. I don't know if you're going to make it for the rest of this trip. Yeah, I literally was like, turning here, and I was like, this is completely the wrong direction. This is nowhere near where we dropped them off. And turns out that's accurate because I did not map to pink them up. I mapped to Boise, Idaho.
We're getting to the last couple days here of the turnaround trip. I can't even speak. So, yeah, we're getting to the last couple days here on the turnaround trip. And they are hard. They are fully the hardest thing ever. It's. It's honestly the lack of sleep. The lack of sleep is.
A little hard.
Good.
My ab. I have never had my ab lock up like that my whole life.
AB locked though, dude.
Brutal. I was trying to crawl to my. To my. My phone to text Brian. It still hurts.
Did it just like stop over time?
No, it locked. I couldn't move. I've never had that one. And the guy was like, dude, are you okay? I'm like, it's okay. It's okay. It's okay.
Oh my God. Do you know what that is? Probably lack of sleep.
I've had lack of sleep before.
Dehydration maybe. Probably combination of those two.
I bet when I haven't slept for a week or something. Coffee. Anybody wants something even coming in.
So I'll see if they have sugar free options or not. Judge.
Yeah, you don't judge. That's what somebody that's judging would say.
They almost left you guys behind on accident.
Okay, you guys can do the turnaround. You got guys this down now, dude. It's like I just had this massive ab workout and all I was doing was stretching.
You just got to get your muscles to fully engage for just stop sleeping until like your whole body just spasming. It felt good in the moment. I was like, dude, those app. Let's go. They stopped.
Okay.
You know, you know how childbirth after a woman goes over it?
Like, I do know. I'm so aware.
It makes her forget the trauma, so she wants to keep having kids. It's like this hearty trip. You free up the trauma and you want your app to do it again.
Yeah.
See, one AB cramped up. You just need to do the other five too. They're used to it. Oh, my bad, my bad.
I didn't know you were cool like that. What the heck?
I feel like I need to get like a. A chiropractic like adjustment and pop it back inside.
Oh my God.
This is up to you. Like you. I could get all the way to.
BO is like, that's. That's showing signs of sleep deprivation.
You know, almost leaving on or like a choice. So I just stopped halfway. Do the nap there. You guys are very talented at sleeping. Just drop down for a nap. I'm gonna be so tired. But explain to me how this falls into the category of trying to leave weight Keto. Dude, I thought I got two pounds heavier. Just smelling it, dude.
I'm pretty sure I'm 220. You know, I gained seven pounds on this trip.
Like.
I can tell by the jiggliness. Dude, I can tell that for a camera.
What's your way of. Of just measuring.
How's it Amazing.
We are currently. We left Raleigh, North Carolina.
We were in Salt Lake, Utah.
We were in Salt Lake City, Utah. We did turnaround for a demolition company and now we are headed to visit an Augusta lawn care location about a five, six hour drive away in Eagle, Idaho.
Nampa, Idaho. Exactly. And we are planning the field force general audience release of the mobile app right now. No.
Is it going to happen today?
No.
Is it going to happen today when it's posted?
Wink wink. It be happened by the time this post. It's already done. It's in the book. That's what I'm planning right now. Sick. That's it.
Has been a little bit lately. Tonight's gonna be our first like good night of sleep. Like we're gonna bounce from here, go find somewhere to park and sleep. It's definitely been a challenge. Yeah, it's our first one doing this. Exactly like it is expected to be.
Kind of thought the RV would be like luxury. We're like, yeah, we could work and we'll just drive and we chill. It's a little rattly. You see it in the vlog, man. A little ratt can understand.
It's way louder.
No, I'm sleepy.
Okay, you got the vlog. All right.
Is it mic on?
Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Is he gonna do it?
This is crazy. This crazy.
Wait, wait, wait.
Tragic, folks. This is news coming to you live from this news station here in Idaho. This giant gentleman has not had a dream in his. Oh.
It'S counteracting. It's counteracting. That is crazy. The dump rose. Yeah.
Give me some Sour Patch Kids. I'm freaking out. I'm freaking out down here. Oh, my God. Sir, sir, sir.
Here. Oh, my God.
Yes. Second batch of the day. Yes.
Pretzel stack.
Balance diet. Balance diet. We need a balanced diet. Okay, we're almost there. Just a little bit of.
That is deliciously salt.
I think we need to vote. What for? The likelihood of of you finishing all those greens is 0%. I going to say broccoli. Wow.
Did you hear that, Brianna?
I picked my. And I slaved over.
Blood, sweat and tears. Everything is love in my heart. When you think about. You're like, I think your girl loves this one.
What time do they show up for work tomorrow? Should we just sleep right here? Imagine we just like.
Maybe there's. Oh, there is. There's One, like, gentleman over here. Look at this guy. Hey, get the vlog out here. What did I tell you? Zach and his plate. Wow.
Embarrassing.
Embarrassing. Literally did not have a single bite. Not one single bite after the first one.
He only did that for the vlog. He wants the people to think he's healthy. Oh, we know, we know.
Do you want dessert?
Damn. In full gremlin mode, dude, we have 2:00am When I want to snack.
Closer. It'd be fun. We have evenings.
What the heck? This guy. It could be better.
Yeah.
Like, if we can just get more than four hours of sleep. Yeah, well, sleep. It's true. I think like, either a longer.
To your point, in one area with each other. And there's other. There's other cross country. We can go top to bottom. We could go across Canada. No, no. Too many mountains.
There was one time we were going downhill and I was like, dude, I don't know if we're going to be able to break with this thing, dude. There was some help. Okay. It was when we pulled into Utah. Like, shout out Utah speed limits. 80. It's awesome. Way better. This thing can't go 80.
And this thing cannot go 80 downhill. Dude. There was one turn where I took it, and I was like.
I was like, oh, my God.
Was there any moment so far where you thought we might wreck?
First line off the road. We're at this like, every hour. Every time we push the brake, I think I was like, oh, that was close. But there was like two or three times where I was like, okay, let's. Let's buckle up, buddy. Let's pay attention here. Yeah, walk in. Yeah. Where I was, like, just driving, and I was like, wow, the RV is really tilting right now. Most, like, dangerous drive was our last drive last night because it was, like, really late. There was like, a storm, and we were going through a mountain pass.
That was pretty brutal. All those three things are, like a recipe for disaster.
So it's not killing us.
I always think in my head, like, okay, as long as he's driving, I'll make sure I'm awake, is working. And I'm like, wait a second. My back is to the road.
Yeah. I'm like, we'll all know when we're about to die. Everyone else has died peacefully. Yeah. All of a sudden you're just, like.
Emotionless. You're like, oh, no, that part through. Yeah. If we collided with anything, like, all of our bodies would go back.
If you, like, jostled around here, if you broke.
Up.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Off Camera.
I have to say, I've not buckled up once.
Dang. Off camera.
Off camera. Okay. Tomorrow's a five hour drive. It had. We should try to get out earlier than our itinerary. Our itinerary has us throwing up at 8pm to the campsite. We gotta get out of here. I don't want to be doing a long lunch situation.
We have to stress them like, we cannot be here for long.
Well, I think we can just honestly tell them that we need more time than we had planned.
What would you do differently? Because I feel like you've asked us three times. What would you do differently? Make this trip better.
Yeah, well.
I really don't care.
Dang.
I want everyone else to feel good, but I gotta do the turnaround, so that's all that really matters.
Yeah, but like, doesn't that mean that you need good sleep too?
Well, that would be nice. I'm a better person.
Used to running with sleep.
I'm a better. I'm a better person when I sleep.
I know.
Better husband. I'm a better boss.
Exactly. But we need to get you more sleep.
You know, Francis can take it straight.
So with Brianna. Poor Brianna. This is her I'm worried about. We gotta get you more sleep.
It'd be cool if it's like go do the Turnaround Then by 11 or 12, spend more time with them on the job so it's a better B roll and have like the afternoon to go. Like what do we do for the vlog?
True.
I. I think having like. Like how I always fix the intro just is a trav. Fixing struggling businesses. What if it's just that? Fixing struggling businesses. Road trip.
Road trip edition.
Okay, you just like the addition part. That's so official. This is the road trip edition. Then we're going to go the private jet edition. Then we're going to do the balloon. Hot air balloon edition. Dude, we just come settling down into the Chicago.
In a parachute. Parachute edition.
Dude, I'm out.
That would actually be kind of fun, wouldn't it? Dude, we just changed editions of turnarounds like that. Be this the stick. Yeah, we do rv. Like the RV edition.
Cruise ship edition.
I remember staying here at the trail. We were just down that way. Drove all the way into Poison.
Nice shout out, Terrell. Terrell. We love you, bro.
Rest in peace.
That was our hotel right there. Let's go. Five turnarounds, one city. That would be crazy. Oh, man. That took a year off my list.
More caffeine.
Just.
I was listening to this great podcast on Taxes. The people who should be making the tax code are the people who are rich, though, because they know all the, like, the politicians are dumb. You think that? Well, politicians are dumb. I fully agree on that. No, because so most. Dude, that's like saying, like, the businesses should really regulate themselves because they. No, no, no, no, no, no. I feel like they're like. I feel like most rich people want to pay. Are okay with paying more taxes. They are just going to. If there's a loophole, they're gonna use it. I don't think rich people are okay with paying more taxes. What? Why don't you want to give away more of your money? Unless, like, you think it's going to. Cause.
Like, they. They're like, well, I would rather just donate my money to XYZ100. Then you just get deducted. But, like, there's a lot of things that need to be paid for that like, you don't want to pay for or don't think that you paid for. But, like, that's part of being in a community. I agree. Like, not everything. Like, you know, there's a lot of people that would, like, help favor the school district, but they're never gonna have kids in the school district. Why would I try to get what Elon has and invest back into this country? Multiple billions of dollars. You know what I'm saying? Not if you take it away from me. I'm not taking my money. Taxes a percentage of your money.
Do you believe this is the episode where Zach gets fired? That's crazy.
Oh, man, you're tired.
It's hitting you like a brick.
Hit you like a brick.
You're not.
Are you going to work out?
Am I going to work out right now? Just think I am just as abs. All right. Good debate. Sleep. I love it.
Thank you.
What else do we want to argue about? That be fun else.
Should we save the fight?
Okay. They just you and me. Yeah. No, I don't want to do that. Zach and I can argue.
I know a lot.
Dude, 49 degree yell pole is gonna be here. Oh, I know. I'm excited. And he wants the AC on full glass. Honestly, if we didn't have to charge gear, I would say kill the AC and kill the generator. But.
It's the rules.
Raider.
Bends the rule.
