Happy Thanksgiving from Augusta Lawn Care! What We Are Thankful For This Year

A short YouTube compilation (Thanksgiving 2020) by Augusta Lawn Care in which multiple employees and franchise representatives speak about what they are thankful for. Speakers (Austin, Charlie, Marcus, Brandon, Liz, Lee, Mike and others) express gratitude for team members, franchisees, family, health, job stability during 2020, supportive coworkers ("Augusta Nation"), pets, and holiday moments (e.g., Brandon at Canyon Ferry Lake). The tone is thankful and reflective, focused on workplace community and personal support systems during a difficult year.

Hey, guys, it's Austin here. A couple things I'm thankful for this year is this team, especially.
Since I've been here, they've definitely grown on me. I've definitely learned a lot. My mindset from when I was younger has definitely grown since I've been here. And then the other things I'm thankful for are my cats.
Hey, let's go.
So, Brad, what a couple things you're thankful for in 2020?
A couple things I'm thankful for. Certainly the AB to basically keep working continually throughout the year. There's been a lot of. A lot of folks that can't say that in 2020, but one of the nice things about lawn care is being able to keep going and having some nice, consistent work and yeah, thankful for health and family and. Yeah, awesome.
Thank you.
Two seconds worth of what you were thankful for in 2020.
Oh, I'm thankful for this job. I'm thankful for all of the friends that I made and maintained relationship this year as well as you know, how despite everything that's going on, everyone that I've been in contact with anyways seems to have a very positive attitude about everything. So that's what warms my heart.
Awesome.
Thanks so much.
Charlie, what are just a couple things you're thankful for this year? Things I'm thankful for are working through.
The winter this year and my family and everything like that. So, yeah, those are a couple things I'm thankful for.
Thanks.
Have a good winter.
You too.
Brandon.
What are just a couple things you're thankful for this year?
All the people I work with, they're awesome. That made this sort of weird time in human history.
As best as it could be.
Thanks.
Hi, I'm Liz, and in 2020, I am thankful for Augusta. I'm thankful for all our franchisees who have been like our family. I'm thankful for a team that we've worked so hard to build an amazing culture and that we work so well together and have such streamlined systems. It doesn't come easily. And I'm very appreciative for the quality of people we have on our team, for my personal life and for everything that's happening in our country right now. I'm thankful for all the challenges that I've had personally and that we as a country and nation have. It's made us stronger than we ever thought possible and we've overcome things personally that we never thought we ever could. And so I'm grateful for all the challenges and the difficulties of 2020. And I so focused on all the good that happened as well, and looking forward to a great 2021.
Hey, I'm Lee with Augusta Lawn Care of Whatcom county, the office manager there. And for this Thanksgiving 2020, it's been a weird year, but there is still a lot to be thankful for. The things that I'm thankful for, I'm thankful for my wife and my family for helping us get through this year. It's one of those years where you could lay down and just take it and accept the defeat. But having a support system of my wife and my family to help push, go to work every day, work with the amazing team at Augusta, be a part of the Augusta Nation has just been a great blessing. And I'm so thankful for everyone's work ethic and the support system that I've had this year. So I hope to you and yours, you have a great Thanksgiving.
Oh, my goodness. What am I thankful for in 2020?
Honestly, the main lesson of 2020 for me is not to take anything for granted. So I am thankful for almost everything in my life. From each moment I breathe to the job that I have to the roof over my head, my dog, my family, my friends, my health. I'm happy and thankful for all of those things.
Hey, Marcus.
Here.
Right here, visiting the family in Montana here. We're out at Canyon Ferry Lake.
Thankful for.
Friends, family, team, camaraderie.
Safety.
This time of the year for the holidays and views like this. Great Thanksgiving, everybody.
I am thankful that I get to wake up each day and live life to the full, fullest and blessed people. And I'm also thankful to have an awesome job at here at Augusta Lawn Care Services. And I'm thankful that I have a great support system and that they always want. Whatever. Yeah, can you edit that?
Ultimately, I'm thankful that I have a great job that I love and I feel supported in every day.
Hi, I'm Mike. And in 2020, first and foremost, I am very thankful that none of our team in any of my businesses contracted Covid tested positive and it affected any of us. So just everyone staying healthy in 2020 was a huge thing for me. Secondarily, I'm very happy and thankful that our franchisees were able to continue growing throughout the pandemic. It was one of the worst times you could probably ever start a business this past spring, and yet that's when most of our franchisees were getting started for their first year. And so very thankful the fact that we were able to grow up to 30 locations and they were able to be successful. It wasn't without hardship and it wasn't easy. There's a lot of changes and difficulties with the whole pandemic and not being able to sell in person and do door to door marketing and all the rest of it. I'm just very thankful that they survived, some of them, many of them thrived, and that we were able to continue growing the business in what could have been a very debilitating year for the company.
