The other partner leaving that was early last year. I had my daughter on the 11th of November of 2022. And six days later, he said, hey, I don't want to be part of this anymore. So I don't think that he realizes how much what I did in the office affected the business because he kind of had to take over, you know, while I was off with a new baby. I'm a very passive person. I don't like confrontation because he used to handle that kind of management side. All the decisions kind of were made together and it was nice that I had the full reign now and could do whatever I want. But also, you know, I came to realize that it wasn't nice because I didn't somebody to control the quality and be the people person and do the HR side of the business. I guess you could.
Say this is why it's so important when you're building a business, to make sure there's systems, procedures, checklists and redundancies. So if someone does leave, whether it be a partner, a key employee, a mechanic, someone that's super integral to the business operating, if they leave, the business still needs to continue. So leaning too heavily on one person puts the entire organization and everyone's jobs at risk. And that's why it's so important to have the systems, procedures and simplify services and your product systems to be able to operate without any one person.
