Got to stop chasing growth. So oftentimes, our ego is what drives us to grow revenue, hire more employees, buy more trucks, get more equipment, line it up against the street, make sure our competitors see it, make sure that when we wrap the truck, we post that all over Facebook and Instagram simply to show all of the competition, all of our friends, our family, the people that doubted us in high school, we made it. Unfortunately, what none of those people see is your bank balance. And I have been able to see hundreds of bank balances and hundreds of profit and loss statements and hundreds of balance sheets. And many times the people that have all the fancy, shiny stuff, their bank balance doesn't look so hot. Instead of trying to run this treadmill of growth and more employees and more trucks and fancy stuff, focus more on profitability and stacking cash in the bank.
