Folks, we made it out of security right as boring started, so here we are. No, she can hear you. I'm not going to tell you.
Oh, okay.
Specifically, people in general, when it comes to flying, they freak out. Like traveling. But flying specifically makes everyone's cortisol just shooting through the roof and they freak out and it's like, you'll get there when you get there. You dying? No. So chill out. I'm not the biggest fan of T either, but you shouldn't get mad at them and like treat them like they're lesser than you. You know?
That's right.
I'm going to step off my soapbox now. And I'm excited cuz we're going home. We have like a 6 1/2 hour flight.
Frances posted it called Old Image of Us. I don't even. I've never. I don't know what that is. That's from way back.
Is that on turnaround?
I don't know. We must have been eating an airport doing barbecue.
That's awesome. Okay. We will be boarding shortly. The use of e cigarettes or any smokeless product, including chewing tobacco.
Welcome to another episode of the Food Network. Back with another rib eye. We're going a little bit lower this time. Like 350 degrees. Last time, 450, 500, was making things a little. A little raw in the middle, a little burnt on the outside. So we don't got time for that. So we're just cooking with Crisco right here. Look at that.
Mmm.
So good. Kale chip action, butter salt. Okay, so we're relatively newlyweds, but one thing that I have learned. Amazon best friend. But more importantly, one little hack I've done recently with Brianna is this thing called Pinterest. You know, I never really had a taste for it. However, it's really helpful because I just tell her if she likes something, put it on Pinterest and then if I want to spend a little bit on her, I can just go on the list and fix something without fear of it not fitting or her not liking it. Great little hack.
Just got to Costco. Stacking up with the travel snack essentials because we're gonna be going out of town again in like a week and a half, so gotta make sure we're prepared, you know? Are these new? Wait, what's the difference? There's no packaging. These are like the exact same. Okay, y' all know the air, fried air, dried beef, carne asada things we were raving about last vlog? I can't find them. Anywhere if they only had them for a limited time. I'm going to be so sad. Okay, so I am doing like a vlog style interview style for video for our team. Some ideas for anything you might be interested to talk about, anything you might be wondering as far as what goes on behind the scenes of working in this industry and for the four people that are my. So the champion club that's coming up, it starts on Thursday, but on Wednesday the leadership team is staying at the venue and having a dinner and just basically just getting some quality time in together. You know, so I get to. For the main channel, I am using ChatGPT to my advantage and I am compiling a bunch of questions that I can ask some of the leadership or the leadership team just like trying to get some insight on what their day to day looks like or how like one of the questions are how has being this environment changed the way you lead? Just like getting their backstory, getting the role that I'm setting up and etc. So anyways, we'll see how it goes. But I'm excited. I get to use the big cameras or a big camera like the ones that phase for the turnarounds and film the turnarounds on this morning. It was a very productive morning. I did my five side cardio, I had my breakfast as you all saw. I did the sauna and then I went to lift and not to Costco. I'm going to go home, we're going to do some cooking. I think I want to experiment with carnivore pancakes because Mike has been requesting this. So let's go try it out. Mike has mentioned multiple times on this channel the pork belly that I make in the air fryer. So I'm going to just show you how I prepare it. Not going to air fry any right now, but I get this big old thing from Costco. There's like what, two, four, six, eight, ten, twelve strips in here. I probably don't need a knife this big, but I feel like using this knife. So we're gonna use this knife. Okay. You only. Oh, I did not wash this well the other day. Good thing. You just. Mike and I, you will need a knife, a cutting board, you guessed it, pork belly. We're going to open this, y'. All. If you don't know, Wustoff knives are the absolute best. It's a German brand, I think. And Mike, he got me these and I love them so much. Time's sake. I'm going to leave them stacked on top of each other. So I have two Strips here, and I just lay them out on my board, and I cut them in thin strips, slices, just like. So they're gonna be about this size thing that Costco sells in bulk all the time. Like, obviously, we can't eat all of this quickly, so I just, like, portion them out, and I put them in the freezer bags, and I just grab whatever we want to use for the week out of the freezer and prepare. That way, I'm gonna get a bag and fill them up. I promise my hands are clean, and I keep a very sanitary workstation. Before you think it's gross in the comments, don't come for me, okay? And the way I cook them is I put them in our air fryer for about 15 minutes on 380. On 380 degrees. And I flip them over about halfway through. And y', all, it is seriously, like, the most perfect texture. Crispy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside, so. And I only put salt on them. I don't need any other seasonings, but I'm sure, you know, if you wanted to, you could maybe even put, like, a barbecue rub on them. I just put salt on ours, and it turns out so good every time. So if you'll give it a try, let me know. Actually, if you would just, like, send me a picture on my Instagram, that would make my whole entire day. If you want to, you don't have to, but it would make me happy if you did. I put just a little bit in this one because I'm gonna keep this in our fridge, but I'm gonna freeze these three bags. Honestly, this lasts us, like, probably a month or a month and a half, so. Great value. I paid, like, 20 bucks for that big tray of it. One of Mike's favorite meals that I make is carnivore pizza, and I haven't made it in so long. So tonight is the night. If you guys want to see how I made the crust, go check out my Instagram at Brianna Andy's for the recipe. But it is. The crust is almost done. I'm letting it air fry in the oven right now to kind of get it crispy. Baking it just cooks the meat and the cheese, and then air frying it gets it all crispy, crispier on top and then soft in the middle. You know, that's how we like it. I have some bacon here for the toppings. I have prosciutto and pepperoni, and I might throw spinach on there, like, randomly enough. He likes spinach on his pizza, so I Don't have arugula, which I know is traditional, but we're gonna go with a spinach. Okay. I tried to make a sauce for this. I am still an amateur. I'm still learning how to be a good wife and a good cook. And I tried to make an Alfredo sauce, you guys. It was a disaster. I don't know if the heavy cream I'm using does not have a high enough fat content or if it's the cheese that's not melting properly or if it's user air. And it's probably the third one. I melted butter, put in the heavy cream, let it get. Oh, no. Well, first of all, I made the immature mistake of melting the butter, then putting the cheese, then the heavy cream, and it, like, almost curdled immediately because not curdled, but, like, separated the cream and the cheese. Were not driving, you know, so threw that away, did a second batch, melted the butter, had the cream, left it in there for a little bit, whisked it around, make sure it was real hot. And then I added the cheese. And over time, I thought it was going good at first, but no. Over time, the cheese separated from the cream, and I hate wasting food, but I had to throw it away. It was just not salvageable. So please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I should have just, like, looked up an Alfredo recipe and then just.
Car. Car.
Neverified it. Carnivorified it, But I didn't. But the crust is juicy enough, honestly, to where you don't even need sauce. So hopefully Mike doesn't mind, But I do have marinara backup if need be. So let's check on this crust. Check it out. It looks so good. I don't want to burn it because we've already had one fail for the night. So I'm gonna go ahead and take it out. I'm double filming since I'm making a real out of this. You guys, look at that crust more where I tore off right there. I had to. I had to do a little taste test, you know? So I'm gonna let it sit for a little bit. And closer to whenever Mike comes home, I'm gonna put toppings on it, put it back in the oven so it's nice and warm. But I'm so excited to try this. Let's make carnivore pizza. All right, everybody, we are on our way to church, but Michael has something very exciting.
I talked to Uncle Alex today.
He talked to Alex from Mosey, and he was on his YouTube channel.
He just made a post on YouTube and was like, hey, I'm gonna call five people randomly tomorrow. If you want me to call you, fill out this application and then and submit a video. So I did that and I was like, I definitely am gonna get in. I just felt like I was gonna get in also because it was like last minute. So there's probably. I bet he only got like maybe 40 or 50 applications. Also Alex knows him FYI well from Dr. Kashi. So anyways, yeah, I was able to talk to him.
Mike, what's up man? How's it going?
Mr. Cash and I work with kind of five different ways to solve the off season for the franchisees.
Yeah.
And the goal is a thousand locations and to go public in six to eight years. The question is 100 of our franchise leads come from my organic social media content on YouTube and about 225000 subs. So my question is, should I focus more and better on the content side or just start a second marketing channel or acquisition channel, paid ads, outbound calls, etc. Just because we want to increase the speed at which we're now selling locations. We really haven't been pushing it up until now.
Well, we will pin a comment on this video that has a link to the video of Alex because he didn't. He's not. He doesn't make his live streams public. It's an unlisted video. So it was cool. I was able to ask him questions about how to grow the business. It was great.
And right after the live stream, a member. That's it. Michael took action on the advice.
Of course. Alex, it's dumb not to like a human. Why would you not want to take action?
So he. Mike applied last night and I didn't know like I didn't he. You did mention that he was going to go live, but I didn't know he's going to call in.
Brandon was in the shower so I went into the closet.
So then he like text me earlier today a screenshot of a text that the head of Alex's media team sent you. Yeah. And he was like just telling him that he'll be cold between a certain time and that was crazy.
That's right. Also proud. Also tomorrow, big two releases at co pilot. I'll try to. I'll try to remember to shoot a clip of that. We're releasing a backend then we're releasing a whole bunch of changes to email builder and the next day on Friday then we are releasing a whole bunch of stuff to payments and tipping and invoicing and then we're releasing the beta app for Field Force. It's gonna be great.
Proud wife.
Yeah. We talked. I haven't talked to Alex since last. Almost a year and a half ago.
But he remembered Mike.
Like, he has a good memory. Yeah.
How could he forget this guy?
Oh, please.
You just can't. You can't.

Good morning, y'. All. Today I am doing something that I've been putting off for months, and that is to change my last name on my driver's license. I also need to change up my passport, but I think that is a different task for a different time because we go out of town next week, so we're saving that for later. But for now, I'm gonna go to the license branch and it opens in about 40 minutes, so I want to be the first one there. I'm gonna make some returns, you guys. I have so many returns to make to, to from Amazon orders, like all of these things. Honestly, there is no good reason for me putting off changing my driver's license for this long. I just built it up to be some big task in my brain, when in reality it's not. I just probably need to spend 15. Well, fingers crossed, 15 or 20 minutes at the DMV to do this. After waiting for like an hour and 20 minutes, I got it done. So now I just need to work on getting the passport, which that is gonna be a joy because I have to go to the post office for. But we're almost there, you know, can't do two in one day. Maybe tomorrow I'll try the passport or I'll have to set an appointment for it, but I'm just glad that's over with you guys came home, showered, chilling, cleaning up around the house and everything. I get a knock on the door and I look through the little peephole. Nobody's there. But I see two big box or a big box. So I open the door like this. Y' all see that? That's a cold plunge. Michael bought the cold plunge. He's gonna be so hyped to tell you guys this later, but I. So I guess our den is gonna be like the recovery room in this house. We have the sauna and that's it. Michael wants to Put the cold plunge where the bean bag is. Now, here's the problem. There is nowhere else for that beanbag to go. We are in a little apartment. We don't have much space. I'm sure there is somewhere in the lease that says we're not allowed to have something like that. Or they just never thought to be that specific because they would never think that someone would try to have a cold plunge in a apartment. Guys, I'm so excited right now. So Mike has been wanting Carnivore pancakes for a while. So yesterday I tried to make some, and let's just say the batter turned out like, this liquidy. So I was like, you know what? We're not gonna waste. We're gonna try it out. We're gonna try to make crepes. Guys, guys, guys. This ended up turning into the best mistake I've ever made eating these. Forget you're on Carnivore for a second. It's literally just made up of egg whites, cottage cheese, collagen, allulose, gelatin, and it is the best thing ever. If you want the recipe, I'm gonna post it on my Instagram. Let me show you all the final product. I already dug into it for the sake of the video and because I couldn't wait. Like, whenever they're fresh, they're so crispy, and the cool cream on the inside is such a good contrast. This is insane. You've got to try it. Also have homemade whipped cream. Making it yourself with just three simple ingredients is so much better than buying it from the store whenever they have all these other added ingredients. That is so unnecessary. All it is is obviously just heavy whipping cream, allulose, and vanilla extract, and you make the perfect, fluffiest whipped cream. And that is what I layer in between the crepes. So y', all with this cinnamon and then the leconto maple syrup that I've shown on here before, it is, like, so incredible. Good morning.
Good morning.
Do you want to show the vlog what came in the other day?
Yeah. Also, this is show and tell. Also, this morning, once again, we are our lightest we've ever been combined.
We both weighed at a new low.
Brianna's at an all time low. So we're crushing it. You know, what we don't want is that when we got married, got fat and happy, you know?
Exactly.
We both are exact opposite. Okay, so Michael went ahead and made an executive decision for the family.
Right.
Made an investment in the future of the family.
Michael made an executive decision for Michael.
Albeit, let's just say a quick quiz. Okay, we have. So, Brianna, how many times this week did you use the sauna?
Hey, hey, we're talking about cold plunge right now, not the sauna.
Simple numerical answer.
Probably four or five.
Okay, Michael, how many times did you use the sauna this week? 1. Oh. Oh. Anyways, what's gonna happen in this relationship is Michael's gonna get the sauna, Brianna's gonna use this on cold plunge. Oh, yeah. Cold plunge. So it's gonna go right here.
And where is that gonna go?
Somewhere else.
We have nowhere else to put that.
If anyone wants a bean bag in the world.
Okay.
Somewhere else.
Okay.
If anyone has a great idea for where this beanbag can go, let us know. Otherwise, it's probably gonna go to the office in the break room. So this was $1200 off on prime day. I read the reviews while I was on an engineering meeting. That was very technical. I didn't really understand very much, and I made the decision to purchase it. Yep.
So it's probably gonna sit in boxes for another week until we decide to put it together. Let's be honest, I hate putting things together. I do, too.
It's so bad.
But it'll probably.
It says it takes 15 minutes.
I.
Okay, so that.
That is show and tell with Michael.
We'll circle back in about a week whenever it's actually put together. Doing the usual Saturday routine. Long hike. But this is the end of the vlog. Hope you guys have had a great weekend and a great start to your week. Next vlog is going to be about the Seven Figure Club and the start of our Nashville trip. So stay tuned for that. Hope you guys have a great day. Peace.
