Promotional video by Mike Andes (uploaded Dec 18, 2021) encouraging landscapers to attend Landscape Summit 2022 (Jan 13–15). Andes lists five reasons to attend: (1) giveaways including a branded sweater and a signed P4P manual that hides exclusive announcements and software access for attendees, (2) high-quality content delivered by two keynote speakers (Mike Andes and Marcus Vandervlee), (3) networking with peers (average attendee company revenue ≈ $450K; range spans startups to $5M+), (4) attendees receive a full event recording afterward at no extra cost, and (5) low ticket price ($299) with a refund guarantee if in-person attendees find no value; Andes emphasizes the event is non-commercial (no sponsor pitch-fests) and focused on business growth, hiring, advertising shifts, and project/operations topics.

Hey everyone, it's Mike Andes and today I'm talking about five reasons why you should come to Landscape Summit 2022. Now, before you turn me off, hear me out because we're coming up to the holiday season. It's almost Christmas and if you're looking for a perfect gift for any landscaper, or maybe you're gonna buy it for yourself, or maybe bring your spouse or a manager or some of your employees, this is exactly what you should be buying. It's $299 per ticket, includes four, four meals, two on Friday, two on Saturday, and then some light refreshments on Thursday evening. But it's gonna be a great event and I'm gonna go over the five reasons why you should be coming. The first reason being you're gonna get a great sweater just like this, alright? So you can't really see the whole thing, but it's pretty cool. And everyone that comes is going to get one of these sweaters. You're also going to get. The number one reason you should come is for giveaways, right? So we got sweaters, you know, we got the shovel of the logo, we got Landscape St. Summit on the other arm. And the other thing that's really cool is today this is actually a proof copy. So when you publish a book, they send you what's called proof copies before they actually start printing these out. So there's a proof copy and that's why it says not for resale on the top of it. But this is the P4Pmanual that is going to be for everyone that comes to Landscape Summit. You're gonna get a signed copy. It's pretty cool because this is actually where I sign. It's left blank until I sign it. So it's a check on the front of the book cover and it's left blank and then I will sign it. And there's actually really cool stuff as to how this all bakes in to some really cool announcement. We are launching some really cool stuff at Summit and only the people coming are going to have access to it and it kind of is actually hidden inside of this book. So it's going to be a lot of fun. We're launching some really cool software and only the people coming to conference are getting access to it. So make sure you come and sign up for that. That's the first thing is the giveaways are gonna be incredible. The sweater, the manual for P4P. We walk all through the three steps of building a great team culture which we talk about in this book. Which is right Here on page 128, which is P4P is the base open book management and profit sharing. We walk exactly through how we do this and how we've implemented it throughout Augusta Lawn care. The second reason you should be coming to the conference is because the content is gonna be out of this world. It's gonna be awesome. If you don't know who Marcus Vandervlee is, he's the other speaker in addition to myself, who's gonna be taking all of the keynotes. So it's literally just me and him and we're gonna go very deep with the two of us. So what's great about Marcus is he's ran seven plus million design build massive companies on the East Coast, 400 plus employees. And then I obviously focus more on the system, the scaling of the maintenance and smaller, simpler services. It's gonna be an amazing event. And what's really cool, it leads me to the third thing, and that is network. You should come to Landscape Summit is the networking. The average business coming to Landscape Summit has over $450,000 in annual revenue. So this is not a bunch of newbies. It's also not a bunch of just massive companies. We have companies that have signed up everywhere from $5 million in annual revenue all the way to just getting started, but the average is 450,000. So the most people have employees, they're trying to grow their business, they're trying to get to the next level. And there's a big chunk of them that are already doing seven figures or more. So it's a great event. You want to people that are going to accelerate your growth. And if you're the smartest person in the room, usually the wrong room you're in. So coming to an event like Landscape Summit pulls you higher because there's so many people that are out there to grow their businesses and have a lot of knowledge to share. The fourth reason why you should come to Landscape Summit is because everyone who comes is going to get a free recording of the event. So even if you can't make it, for example, something crazy happens last minute and you're not able to make it, you will get a video recording. There's nothing that parallels coming in person though, and being during at the meals and in between sessions and talking to other people and having someone that you can get your contact information and keep each other accountable throughout the rest of the year, there's a lot of value to being there in person. But if you can't make it, or for whatever reason or even if you're just like, man, I'm just overwhelmed with amount of information. I took notes and a whole nine yards. Well, a couple weeks after the event, you will get a recording of the entire event and that won't be any additional cost. The fifth reason why you should come to Landscape Summit is because this is not about making money. It's $299. We spend a whole lot more than that per person to get the venue pay for all the meals. I just wrote a $25,000 check for the food. And that's not all of it. And so all the food, you get all the giveaways. I gotta hire a speaker to come, someone like Marcus to come. And there's a lot of stuff that goes into it. I'm probably gonna have 15 to 20 of my team there throughout the event, making sure everything goes well. So I do not make a single penny on this. And it actually cost me to have more people here. So please come. If you think that it's gonna be like a pitch fest, I'm gonna be pitching all my products, you're gonna be wrong. You will not get a pitch fest. You won't get pitched anything at this conference. It's gonna be about learning, growing your business. And if you come to this event and you're disappointed in the value, I will personally give you your money back. You will email me at the end, be like, hey, I came in person. I was there for all the keynotes and I just didn't think it was valuable. I didn't think it was worth it. Okay, I will give you your $299 back. It's not about the money. This is the event I always wish I had. Cause I'd gone to tons of conferences where it was about equipment and it was about trade shows and it was a bunch of sponsors that were getting involved and we're not gonna have that. There's a reason why I take the brunt of the financial burden and that's because I don't wanna have a bunch of sponsors that wanna have their pitches and, and they want to have their speakers. I want to have our speakers as landscapers. They're going to give us the most value for our businesses and into 2022 be able to grow our companies. If you have a spouse, if you have a manager, if you have a high performing employee that you want to bring this event, it's an absolute awesome event to bring someone like that to. They're going to be able to connect with other number Twos and other employees and other spouses that are also trying to help grow the business. And I think the type of individual that comes to Landscape Summit will not regret the investment they put into it, both the time and the money. And coming aside for three days, January 13th, 14th and 15th will be an incredible investment in making sure your business grows into 2022 and beyond. We're gonna be focusing a lot on hiring, where the economy is going and just a lot of advertising shifts that I'm seeing right now in terms of different platforms to grow your business. But there's just a lot of cool stuff happening. In case you're wondering if you've already implemented P4P, we are not gonna be talking about P4P very much at this we talked about a couple years ago. It's kind of old news. We've built some software and now we have the manual out. That's great. But we're not going to be talking all about P4P only at this conference. There's a lot of much more detailed stuff I want to be going over and there's going to be everything from the guy who's just pushing a lawnmower and getting started all the way to someone who's doing hardscaping design build construction style jobs in multi million dollar projects. Marcus has done massive projects and is going to teach us a lot about project management from a lean perspective and he has some incredible experience and to share. I'm looking forward to it. I hope you join and as we come into Christmas season it's an incredible event to be able to buy. This is the stocking stuffer of the year. Come on, get it for you, your spouse, a manager. It'll make your 2022 great in my opinion. So just go to Landscapesummit Co or just go to Landscapebusinesscourse.com conference. Either one of those will get you the same place. Sign up today. I look forward to seeing you there and we're going to make some real money. We're going to make 2022 an amazing year for your business and and get you on track and in networking with other like minded landscapers. I look forward to seeing you there and we'll talk to you tomorrow.
