A short motivational/business commentary by Mike Andes warning against fully outsourcing core business functions. Andes argues that subcontracting all leads, sales, hiring, and customer care hands your success to others; achieving real business goals requires personal involvement, hard work, and then systematizing processes.

I was talking to a business owner the other day, and they said that they are going to subcontract all their workout. They were going to subcontract all of their leads, all their sales, all their office admin. And ultimately, that sounds like a great idea. The fact that someone else is going to do all the work, someone else is going to get all the leads, someone else is going to do the sale, someone else going to do all the hiring, someone else is going to take care of the customer. And ultimately, what I find so many times what we're doing in this case is we are simply relegating our success to someone else. And here, here's the news that I had to find out the hard way, and that is that no one else cares for your hopes and dreams like you do. And so if you actually want to get to a certain place, if you actually want to achieve something in your business or in life or in terms of money, you will be the one that has to take the bull by the horns and actually do it yourself. And that will mean rolling up your sleeves, figuring things out, doing things the hard way, and then systematizing procedures, et cetera. But just thinking that someone else is gonna do it for you is absolutely a road for disaster.
