So this is from that estimate from earlier work change order on a wall. Right now we're installing a bunch of pavers for a driveway. And so just seeing what this work change order is going to cost and finalizing the estimate before we get started on it later. This.
Is.
Have a lot of pavers left over.
Yeah. So there's quite a few pallets.
Good.
Cool. Yeah, that. That's gonna be annoying. A little strip all I'm gonna cut.
Yeah, it is. I'm not really sure. Maybe put some edge pro down there. Maybe cover it with like some drain on it or something.
I think we just go flush.
Just go flush?
Yeah. Because it looks nice when it's like that.
Yeah. It's gonna be a lot of cutting, but it's okay.
What do you, what do you think? Like do you think tomorrow we finished laying but then a couple days at least of cutting? That's it?
Probably. And if even if this gets a little tricky just going up the hill right here.
Yeah.
We can eventually people are actually just cutting right or even start that tomorrow. But yeah, this part was a little tricky. Coming over the hill. We were just trying to figure out the.
Gray that it's going to sit like width wise that's going to be the best. But yeah.
So like here, here we're going to have to bevel this out, aren't we?
Yeah.
Are you going to bring in just like 5, 8 minus and just kind.
Of there's a big pile over there still.
Yeah. It's got a really sturd almost from here. Right.
Either that or I was going to try and maximize the amount of flat area I could by kind of. And then just duck it, bending in and then just making it maybe a little more severe. Charlie had a good idea about maybe putting in a little thing of stairs, like some more rock stairs.
Yeah. But I had talked to him about that and we talked about like even doing boulders, like a boulder wall kind of thing.
Yeah.
And he was just kind of like, let's just do it all the way up. Okay. So I don't know, like my only concern is like yes, maximizing the flat is nice. But then here it's gonna be like that. A big sharp.
Yeah.
Right.
And the other concern is if he's gonna end up backing anything onto it, it's gonna be kind of you.
He'd have to come over here. It's just more or less for looks. Right?
Yeah.
And I think if it's too sloped then if you have erosion happening, it's gonna get all Buckled. Like I'm wondering if it's almost like we almost need to start going up.
Just bring it out there. Okay.
Just see what it looks like. Once you get the contour with the gravel, I think you'll be able to determine that. Yeah.
I just didn't want it to end up just going like too much.
But you mean this whole thing?
Because we basically. We can't go above this wall on this side.
Right.
So.
Yeah. You'd only want to take it out to like here.
It's going to be kind of.
Yeah. Right. As far as the part that you build up.
Yeah.
Cuz yeah. You're right. You don't want this whole thing to be. I would just add some more bevel. And if. Is he coming by at all? I don't really.
He was here today. If you want to. I can. I can show you what he asked for on the wall.
Yeah. Yeah. I want to go over that. But I was just thinking if we can run it by him.
Yeah.
Cuz I just think that much slope it's to going on your road. And then it's going to get weird.
Yeah. Him and some friends took off in cars. So I'm sure I'll be back at some point.
Okay. Cool. Yeah, I just.
Just.
I just before we go too much further here, maybe throw some five, eight. Nice. And see what that contour is going to look like. Okay. Cuz I feel like. Feel like this is too slow here. But like, even if we just take some of this off, maybe.
Ye.
I just dug that out. Yo. You just dug this out. Oh, sorry. Oh. Because you're thinking. You were almost thinking of like. Yeah. See, that's what I would do if I was him. Like build a little bit of a wall here.
Yeah.
And then just have this. But still, you're still gonna have to connect to this.
Right. That's where we'll put a brick to it.
Are you gonna want it flush or against what?
Like this one to be like this.
That one. The first one should be flash. Yeah. But I was thinking too do this. Like it's gonna be. Yeah. But Aaron, now I think about it. Gotta leave at least like a foot. They're gonna be replacing that.
Right.
So we can't go right up to it.
We could just leave this room for the very last thing.
Yeah. I would just cut everything out. Yeah. Even if you w easily from here.
Yeah.
Right. As long as you can still get around here.
And I think if we needed to, Something could do this.
Okay. Okay. You want to go over the wall.
It's actually going to look good when it actually weathers a bit.
Also when we actually compact it down, like get over it, it's going to iron some of the limbs that I see. But probably he doesn't.
Right.
He came by and thought it was amazing. Yeah. So he.
So Liz. Liz kind of talked to me. Kind of connecting it all the way here. In the ivy, though.
Yeah, in the ivy. So the end of the original zoom ends there. So he wanted to continue it just along the ivy.
Yeah. And then garden right now. And then it sounded to me like he wanted to go all the way to here.
Yeah. He wants to stack it up even with this and then.
So why did he put that there?
I don't know. But I guess, I mean, maybe it's just to retain the patio or something like that. But maybe aesthetically he just wants to see something natural.
Okay. So we rock to here, rock to and then fill the garden.
Blend be gardening plan for plant or plants or something like that.
His concern that he'll live was about like the size of the rocks, but it's going to be challenging to get like larger rocks back here.
Yeah. I think he just wanted to. To leave the original ones.
Yeah. Leave this here, right?
Yeah.
Yeah. But like even getting another course of rock that's this tall.
Yeah.
We can't do small ones. He wants big ones.
Not big ones.
But like we can't move this side of the rock. We can move these ones maybe.
Yeah.
We're going to have to be really picky and choosy with what we're getting.
Unless we can rent something from Northstar. Some sort of.
They have the track one, but the problem with the track one is we.
Turn like they don't have like a small wheeled earth mover. Like a ball cat style thing.
I can look around. I'll look at like Birch Reynolds or.
See, I feel like something with wheels would be fine with these.
Right. But as far as weight, I think it'll be fine. I'm worried about tracks. He just has to hit that one of those wrong, chip it and then.
Pull it off, pull right out and then it'll pull out five others.
Yeah.
But I think as soon as we get this done aggregated in and everything, it'll be super solid for anything down on.
Okay. What's nice is this is like tumbled the. The pavers.
Yeah.
So if he dropped a rock line is not a huge deal. Still want to crack one.
But my, my biggest concern honestly would just be losing one over the side.
Into the side of that. Yeah.
So.
Hello. Anyone else? Okay. And then here, same thing all the way along. Because over here this is going to be two course high by the time you get about here. We're up against.
Well, we're like this tall. Right. So like you're not gonna get a rock that tall. That's gonna be two courses.
Yeah.
So.
But he didn't seem adamant about having just one big rock.
Okay.
He just wanted to bring.
But he does want bigger. Like those are gonna have to be one. Just because like if you go any less, it's gonna be small.
I did get the sense that probably what he wants is that just one rock within view. But then he's like stacked. So like over on the retaining wall, there's like a bunch of little rocks that you can see. I think you just want like.
Just. I wish we get a little mini back here.
I wonder, I wonder. Hey, what if we. What if we did a plywood all along here?
Try it.
I want to ran a small little mini. Yeah, I think that would work.
Yeah, I think that's what I'll plan on. I have to get a small one though, cuz just the weight of those big ones will tear the plywood really fast.
Yeah. They do have that one that you can actually walk behind. I think at North Star it's a little bobcat with a shovel.
But. Yeah, but like this thing, right?
Yeah.
I like to be able to place it. Right. So if you had your tracks going this way, you could just go all the way along here, cut here, draw, kick from there, right?
Yeah.
Cuz you could probably get the things right at the top of that.
I mean we'd be. I'm. I'm pretty certain we'd be able to back the trailer down. Yeah, I think these things are pretty sturdy.
Even if we came down this way with like wheelbarrows and like literally picked it. Right. But even getting them into the wheelbarrows is not going to be easy if they're that big.
Yeah.
Man, if I had this view, I'd be here all the time.
Okay, cool. It definitely was going to take longer than I thought. Yeah. Because I was thinking like one to four. So long.
Two days of people shuffling.
I was thinking three or two people.
Yeah.
But I think at least four because like it's just gonna be a lot of moving parts.
Yeah. And there's equipment rentals.
So I'm being mini X Will.
I think it's doable. It's just small.
It has to be a small one. Were you ever at the berms when we dug that trench out for the pipe along the golf. Out to the golf course?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Remember that?
A little more.
Do you think that. Pick those up.
I guess it would depend on its lift capacity.
Right? Right. I guess Just ask if they're there.
Because, I mean, those things are.
Per cubic meter, so.
Right. Yeah.
If not more than that.
Yeah. Well, we're not gonna hit a cubic meter, hopefully. Well, but yeah, no, still, even these big ones, they're like four or five hundred pounds. All right, so.
Basically we're just gonna make it a work change order and just like, keep track of it.
Okay.
He's accepted what we told him, but I think it's gonna take at least an extra day.
Okay.
And then, you know, Bobcat or whatever you gotta buy.
I guess what's nice is I think most of the other column tractors are done here. There's no painters.
Right, right, right, right. Totally looks good. He's done a good job on it.
Yeah.
All right, awesome. I'll get that back to what it is, man. I think you're right. Just leave that corner for now and then, you know, at the end, we can figure that out.
Okay.
What are you laughing at?
Oh, the rifles.
Oh, are they everywhere?
Yeah.
Who's. Huh? Who's they? Who they from?
Older, old guys.
Oh, really? Oh, yeah. These are Red Bull. Oh, yeah.
It's like sugar free. Nine in the morning and then at night.
But yeah, I think is scheduled to have.
Four people here tomorrow.
Right. Starting in the wall, though, right?
Oh, I don't know.
Well, because that's the thing right now. You can if you feel you can handle people building.
I was just concerned about getting material down there without this being finished. But if we can get around the.
Back, probably that side, right?
Yeah.
But, yeah, either way, I think.
This should clear out pretty quick tomorrow.
Cool. So you think you could handle four people on this?
Yes.
Okay. Okay, cool. Awesome.
