Mike Andes REACTS to YOUR Lawn Care / Landscaping Website!

Mike Andes conducts a ~70-minute livestream in which he reviews many lawn care and landscaping websites submitted by viewers. He gives practical, actionable feedback focused on: stronger personal branding (show trucks, uniforms, crew photos), clearer local targeting (service areas/city names), better conversion elements (clickable phone numbers, above-the-fold estimate request forms), SEO practices (separate service pages, SSL, readable URLs), and site performance/usability (compress images, fix broken links, mobile-friendly design). He also answers questions about Lawn Care Web Design service (pricing $399/month, onboarding, turnaround times) and recommends inexpensive tools (DJI Osmo gimbal) for improving video quality.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, it's Mike Andes here. Landscape business course. And today I'm going to be taking URLs and websites that you want me to look at and give suggestions on for your lawn care and landscaping business. I'll look at other websites too if I have some time and if you're listening live, so feel free if you would like to go ahead and jump into the chat if you didn't watch last week's video about specific things in the website. We actually do a little bit of teaching some of the things that are going to be changing on Google search and the new algorithm this coming month and things that we're potentially split testing right now to see if they make changes. Make sure you watch that video from last week. But for today I just want to go directly into your URLs, your websites and be able to just give you some feedback. So regardless of whether or not you actually use lawn careweb design.com, the link right there, regardless of whether you use us or not, that you could hopefully, you know, learn something from this. So let me go ahead and take off my banner so you guys can see my whole screen. There you go. And let's jump right into it. All right, we got the first one is vantage landscape.com. all right, so let me go ahead and pop into here and do Vantage.
Landscape dot com.
All right, here we go. So this is what we'll do today is we will go through websites and depending on how many people are posting, there's quite a few already. So I'm gonna go pretty quickly. Alright, so first things first, I would like this button, this phone number here to be a little bolder and then more importantly clickable. You don't really need to put call us honestly if you put this number just a little bit bigger and clickable, people know what that, what you know, nine digit, that 10 digit number is going to mean.
I would recommend taking this down. Not so big, just maybe a couple lines like pull out the pieces that are really important to be more. Again, this is the most valuable real estate of your website is above the fold right here. So I would definitely make sure that it is communicating the customer exactly what you want. I would also be recommending to make sure that this website is a little clearer in terms of where you service. Oh, maybe it's Paramus. I could. Okay, this could be your. I'm. Yeah, okay. New Jersey. Got it. All right. Yeah. Paramus Long here. Got it. Yep, yep, yep. Cool. Very good. I like the Movement on these. Very nice. It'd be nice if I. If you have a uniforms or trucks that are a certain type of branding, it'd be nice if you could make them.
Make those part of the pictures a little bit more. Because again, these pictures are great. They look like these ones at least up these five looks like they're yours. However, I love to see your uniforms and your trucks if at all possible, because that is what you're selling. Also, if you go services and you mowing. What I would recommend. I like the movement here. That's cool. What I would recommend is these tabs down here on the. On your homepage. Make these go to the actual. Oh, I see how you did this. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So make it when they click on this picture that it goes to this Learn more. Like make this all one button. Because right now if they click on this picture, it just goes to the picture. You want it to actually go to this page. So instead of making the Learn more button and the picture separate, I just make them the same thing if I was you. All right, because there's so many coming in, I'm going to go ahead and keep moving on. So let's go to the next one. Patkin Landscaping. All right, let's see if I can't do this. Patkin Landscaping.
I only did this today because there are so many of you that DM me and emailed me after last week's live stream and said, hey, I didn't get on, but I like you to look at my website. I'm like, can't do every single person, but let's do it on the live. So this is good. So Pat can landscape me again, I don't know where you're servicing in terms of area.
Let me go to your. So one thing you guys can't see. When I put my cursor up top here, I'm scrolling over the tab. What you can't see right now is I don't think you can see that. Let me see if you can see what I'm talking about.
Yeah, I don't think you can see it is. I'm looking for the header on these. When you go scroll over a tab on Chrome, it'll show what the header is. And I was looking for where this person is servicing. So I don't know anywhere. Like right now this Pat can landscape could be anywhere in the world. And I don't know because it doesn't tell me like where. Oh, Lower Marion. I just saw it. So it's on one of your Slides. You have it right there, Lower Marion. I don't know where Lower Marion is. It is in Pennsylvania but again I would try to put that like right up here maybe or somewhere down here just to make sure it's more visible. And again, picture your crew. Picture your truck is what I would much rather see than pictures of houses. That's cool.
Stock images if you can. If if at all possible like take your phone out for a day and you know get your crew or even yourself into nice uniform and go get some good pictures of yourself. That'd be my recommendation.
I don't see a whole lot of value in showing all of these only because the client knows that you're not going to put anything but five star reviews on here. What they'd much rather do and I think would be better value is just a link to your Google reviews, a link to your Facebook. Let them be the investigator. Cause this is very tainted by the fact that first of all you could just make these up. Secondarily they know you're not gonna put one star reviews on here. So it just doesn't even add much value to the relationship. Okay. These pictures are not compressed I don't think and it's going to slow down your, your site delivery in terms of size. Let me. You guys can't see what I'm doing right now but I'm doing is seeing if I can't save this picture and see how big of a picture. Oh it's a web page. Okay, so you have. Okay, that's fine. Okay, cool. Yeah, so just try to get rid of the stock images. Right. Like I doubt most of us use a, use a mower like that. That's like a hundred dollar mower. So let's not put it on our website. As good as a picture looks like you can get your you know, go to your dealer and say hey can I get a picture of a mower with my guy? And they'll probably let you, you know, use your phone. It literally will do better than this. Stock images just screens cheap. And then I would make sure in the. You can't see my what I'm seeing right now. But when you in your site title and your site header you just have Patkin Landscaping. You want to put the the city names as well as even the services if possible of, of what services you provide. Alright, next one is growing greenlandscape.com growing greenlandscape.com.
Again if you are providing your website, I'm not trying to bash on anyone or make you look bad. I don't want that in any regard. I appreciate you sharing your website so everyone else can learn from you and so I appreciate that. Cool. I like this. I really like that personal touch. Very cool.
Cool. Yeah. So if at all possible, I would try to get this contact portion at the top. So this looks like it was built on WordPress.
You created by Adspark. I think they built this on WordPress and this section needs to be brought up. But ideally, this quality lawn services, for example, that big white could be, you know, a quarter of the size just around this, for example. And then you could have your estimate form here as well. So the book now. Yeah. Just takes you. I knew it. Yeah. So this is, this is just a plugin. So I, I would much rather see an actual estimate request form, to be perfectly honest. Also, that picture again, I would like that to be a picture of your crew you like. I would much rather have you in a uniform with, with a, with your mower truck. Mowing truck, or your mower right here than this picture. This random house. To be perfectly honest.
This is an easy fix. Try to make it where when you click on this logo, it goes back to your home. Wait, before I say anything. Oh, I see. This is. Okay, this is a one page website. Okay. And then these are just shortcuts. Okay. So I don't, I'm not a huge fan of this only because I don't get to use the power of SEO in terms of like this slash mowing, that should go to your mowing services, right? Slash landscaping, that should go to your landscaping page. All right, so if I go back to Augusta Lawn Care, for example, and then I do like slash landscaping, it's going to take me to the landscaping page. This is really good for SEO. Okay. So that's what I would recommend. And make actual pages instead for your services instead of just where when you click on services, it takes you here and it just takes. It just takes you to pictures. It was not a very SEO friendly site because there's not enough words both in terms of where you're at. Like where. What part of the world are you servicing right now? A quality lawn reliable services. Quality lawn care. Reliable services for what? What area, what cities are you serving? I don't know where you're servicing. And I would make it just from an SEO standpoint a little bit better with the pages instead of just where it's a one page website. I could spend a lot more time on these, but I'm just going to keep going here a little bit. Guys.
TK landscape.net TK landscape. Net. So.net is not necessarily the best.com is going to be the most search engine friendly. Net is not horrible but definitely when it comes to domains, you want a dot com if at all possible. Okay, so a few things right off the bat. I got stock images. I just got a lot of. I like the fact you got picture your crew. That's awesome.
These are big pictures. As long as these are compressed, you should be fine. This is a. This is a random photo of somebody. Like, you know, again, this is I'm gonna guess 99. I would put money in the fact that this is not a real customer. And customers scrolling through this website are going to see that. For example, it says Fred Bosch. I don't think this is Fred Bosch. Like I'm just going on a limb here. I don't think this is Fred Bosch. So I would either change.
The image or get a real picture of Fred perhaps maybe with you. That'd be cool. Meet the team. That'd be very cool. If you get a picture of these guys. That. I'd make that a little. That would make a little more impact in my mind.
Okay, these look like these are linking to your. Okay, this is wix. Yeah. So this is a plugin to your Instagram. It looks like. Okay, yeah, so this is classic WIX site, right? Like it's, it's okay, right? It has the elements but like this needs to be clickable. There's just not enough pictures and video on this first half of the screen. Like it looks very, very cheap. Again, this is fine if you're solo. If that's all your intention is this probably costs 10 bucks a month. Maybe even it's a free site. I don't know, you probably have to pay a little bit something for the domain and things. But you know, again, I don't feel like a premium client is going to pay for this is going to buy is going to put their information into this form here. I feel like it's going to be a cheaper type of clientele and like this logo, I can't really see.
Really what it is. So again, making that branding image is much more important in my mind. Zachary Trigger got the DJ iom. We'll be shooting money. Good. Awesome. Zachary. Yeah. Zachary was on the last, last week's chant, last week's live. We went through his website and I suggest the DJI Osmo 4 which is a handheld gimbal for your phone, which makes this the video quality go through the roof. It's the best $120 you'll ever spend. What do we do to get our website checked out? Ethan, just put post in the comments and I'll pick up URLs here. Okay. This is a tough URL, so let's see if I can't spell Elk. Elk. Elk. Sky. Sky. Okay. Elks. Guy.com.
Oak. Ski. I don't know. Elks. Oh, I see. It's like elcas. Got it. Elite Lawn Specialist llp. Okay, first of all, I'm very interested to see why you're an llp. That's interesting. Limited liability professionals is not a common entity structure for the landscaping industry, which is fine. It means you have limited partners. You have a partnership, which is interesting. Usually a corporation and then splitting up stock or having a limited liability company, llc, and then splitting up equity inside of that is usually easier. But hey, there's probably a reason you have an llp. All right. Lawn care in Louisville. So this is in Louisville. Cool. Truck. I like the fact that I see a truck. I like your logo here. I like the fact that when I click on that logo, it comes back. Brings me back to my homepage. Estimate call. That's clickable. Cool. Very cool. Using yard book. Very nice. Okay, I like this video. Let's see what this looks like.
Okay. This is the video.
It's kind of cool.
So I think this would be a good video for a services page or something. I would try, if at all possible, make this more of a branding play. Any sort of home page page video you want. Lots of your. Your. Your trucks being seen, your. Your uniforms being seen, you talking, the. The camera, perhaps. But in my mind, just having a bunch of work being done doesn't differentiate you from any other landscaping company. They're on your website. It's the opportunity to make it about you and your brand. Okay. When I click on this, it probably takes me to a different page. Yeah, got it. Okay, cool. Very nice. I like. Yeah, I like this one. This is a good one. I click on the homepage again. Clicking on your logo should always take you back to the homepage. If they get down a rabbit trail, they always know how to get back.
I like this. This is cool.
Okay, so you have a different phone number for Snow, it looks like. Got it.
You know, I like this a lot. I like this a lot. There's just those few little things. Even this much text is quite a bit to be above the fold. But that's fine. That's fine. What's being said is good. I like that. I think if you made this a video and incorporated more of the truck and you talking even in the truck. Here's just a couple ideas. So, for example, I love this truck. It looks great. This is great. Exactly the branding image you want to play on. But maybe you're sitting in the truck and you start talking about this stuff that you say right here. But in the video, better yet, because in that regard, they have to push play and have an audio. Better yet, have a background video playing right here that shows the truck driving around, that shows your crew working. I think that would be even more engaging. And what I mean by that is, like if you go to Augusta's site, for example, the background video, again, every single one of these shots, you're seeing the truck or the uniforms. There's just no way around it, because that is why they're here. The branding is what we're going there for. It's not that the work is getting done or that we're using a bobcat. I don't care. I'm thinking about the brand. That's all I want to be thinking about. Okay. But no, I like this one. This is really good. Looks like members, like a sign in of some sort. Oh, yeah. This would be where your customers come to pay and everything. Very cool. Let's see what this is. A word from an ELCS partner.
Okay. Is it selling some merch or something like that? Okay. Okay. Yeah. Cool. A lot of. A lot of words. Oh, I think this is probably like, you're just like where you would tell people to look at the kind of like your policies and things.
Elite Lawn Care specialist. Okay. Elite Lawn Care specialist. That's what ELC stands for. Got it. So Elite lawn. Got it. Okay, now it's making sense. Your URL is a little tough. If at all possible, if you. If you could somehow get Elite lawn care, I think that would do better just to be able to tell people your URL quickly and to put on trucks and things like that, because Elk sky or Elk ski or however you'd say that might be a little more tough. But again, I think this is a great website. I approve.
Your vid. Just got started. Did you already go to aosgarden.com? all right. A. Let's try this. Aosgarden.com and again, like, I'm just one person. I could be wrong on stuff, especially when it comes to design some things. When it comes to SEO, like, it's just black and white. 01. It's binary in terms of what's right and wrong to do in terms of speed and, and SEO. But when it comes to design, a lot of the stuff I talk about, it's my opinion I could be wrong. But based upon the things that we've split tested and now we have you know, 40 plus locations of Augusta and we have 40 plus lawn care web design websites, we split test things all the time and so I have a pretty good idea of what designs work well. So this is, this is a free website created by hostgator. You can see here in the bottom here. I feel like again there's a great place to get started 100% and if you're just getting started, this is a great place to do it. Now what I would recommend is if you're going to use a free website like this. So for example GoDaddy, Wix, Weebly Gator, Hostgator, just about anyone even what's the name of that? I forget. Any sort of hosting company a lot of times they'll give you a free website design if you just host your website with them. Keep in mind if you're doing that and trying to look really, really big, you're, you're like the customer's gonna be confused because why would you have a free website that's you know, has hostgator on here and everything and it's very clear that you're advertising for them on the bottom here. If you are a big company, to say that you're like the best rated full maintenance in Denver and that you're a one stop shop and all the rest of it is somewhat deceiving or confusing I should say to the customer because you have a free website, right? And honestly like this, this image in the background isn't. Yeah, this is not optimized for mobile. Again so like Lawn CareWeb Design.com, yes, it costs money but we're going to make sure it's mobile friendly so that when someone's on a mobile device it actually scales. Because see this is the problem right now. Google will not bring people to this site simply due to the fact that most of the traffic isn't going to see most of this site. Like I can't even trying to scroll around on this. Sorry. Ah.
I don't even know if I can.
Anyways. Yeah, for me to see this site I have to scroll like I have to do. I have to be full screen and even then you zoom out. I still here, I can't really even see the full picture. So again, great starting point but I would definitely, as the business grows you get more money and you want to invest into the business. My first place I'd be putting in money is the website.
Again, you want your brand and your website to be congruent with the branding of what you want your, your, your company to be. If you're a one stop shop solo operator, this is fine. But if you're going to say that you're the best and the biggest and the one stop shop, you better have a website that's going to back that up. Right? So yeah, okay, I'll just keep moving along. Every single one of these I could talk a lot more on. But you guys get the general idea.
Cause, oh, we've done his website. So let's. This will be good. Let's see here.
Whoops. Here we go. All right, so we've done this one of the lawn care web design. This is a website we've built. So what I like about it is it switches like this from a design element. It's kind of cool with the black. This thing follows them. So for example, as they're scrolling down, they're like, oh, I want to talk about cert. I want to go to a different page. They can just click here right away. They don't have to scroll back to the top. So this floating header, we really like this. It's a matter of just the client being able to get where they want to go without having to go, oh, I got to go back to the top of the page. Especially the longer your pages get, the more important. This floating header is important in my mind. You can see like this. This has been designed by Long CareWeb design dot com. Right. Yay. Look at that. And thank you. Thank you for letting us put our logo on there. We don't require it, but thank you for letting us. This help us. But yeah, really, really solid here. Pretty long contact form here. I'm going to assume it's integrated with some, some, some sort of CRM here. But. Oh, this is the. Sorry. This is a career page. My bad, my bad, sorry. Back to the homemade. This is what I like to see. Not too much, not too many, too many fields. Again, you know, it speaks very clearly. Oakville. Is that Missouri? I think it's Missouri, man. I don't think it's Montana. Right. I don't even know what Montana is. See, it's Missouri or Montana. One of the one or the other. But you know, this is great. I love it. I would love to see a video in the background. But see it centers around his truck and it center around his equipment. Even that picture there of the. Of the. Of the house and then the waterfall. I'd rather rather that be a picture of his crew, rather of his. Of his uniforms. Like a picture of a face with a uniform on. That would be much better than just a picture of a house. All right, and. And if you're gonna do a gallery with a bunch of images, do it on. Do it on a page like this. Because, like, we don't really want this to be on your home page. But if someone really wants to see a gallery of your work, I do it on a gallery page, not on your home page. Was a massive. A whole bunch of, like, scrolling images. Right? So this is great. I love the fact I see trucks. That's beautiful. I love this. This is great. Okay. I want to see more of that and less stock pictures like this one. Okay. So to answer your question directly, I love Cozeny. Cozeny Lawn Service. If in the background here, you could do a video, even if it was again, a DJ Osmo 4, which is a handheld gimbal with your phone and you following a truck, you doing a lawn, like all of that stuff. A 20, 30 second video is all you need. And in fact, at Long Road Design, we will actually, if you give us the. All the video files, we will make the background video for you one time. All right, so if you want to do it all the time, like you want to change it every couple months, you're going to have to do the video yourself. But we so believe from a design element of how much it attracts people. And it's so good for you that if you cannot do video editing, like I can't do Final Cut Pro or Imovie, just take good quality videos for us, send us in a really organized file, and we'll make that first video for you in the background. And that's what I would recommend on this one right off the bat. All right, let's keep moving along because we got more people coming in.
Ethan, I did not get a link from you. It could potentially be, if it's a Google site, might be getting flagged by the streaming software here. So sorry.
How do we join the wait list? Wyatt, what wait list are you talking about? I think you're probably talking about Long Care Web design. We do have a little bit. We can only take a couple on each week right now. Just because we takes us about. Depending on how fast everyone asks how long it takes us to get your website out, it can be as short as three weeks. I've seen it even as fast as two and a half weeks. But it really depends on how fast you get the information to us. Like if you got pictures, if you have the video for us, if you have your logo in a, in a good file size that we can just give it to us in like literally a few weeks later we'll pop out a great looking website. What takes the time is when people don't have what you know, they don't have any pictures. And now we're finding, trying to find like commercial use stock images that aren't all over everyone else's websites. And sometimes we'll go get our own foot, our own pictures just to fill someone's website up. But in terms of the wait list, just fill out the form. If you're asking about lawn care, what's here? Lawn careweb design.com so you go here, contact us here. You can even just email us too. Just kind of get the conversation rolling. Watch this video. Talks more in depth about, you know, the pricing and everything. But feel free to email us directly or just if you sign up, basically what happens, you fill this thing in and then as soon as this is done within like a couple days we'll get in touch with you, we'll get, start, start the whole process rolling. So if you're ready to roll, just fill this in basically and within a matter of a day or two, we'll be in touch with you getting pictures in the whole nine yards. If you have a bunch of questions and things, feel free to email us. And so that's just going to be here. Infolonghairweb design.com but there's not really like a wait list. There's really not. We have enough people ready to roll to get these sites out pretty quickly and still support everyone. Cousins cuts landscaping. Cousins cuts landscaping. Cousins cuts landscaping.
And I really didn't genuinely believe last week when I got on here live and started doing website stuff that I had like a few people on. And even like right now we have 80 people on. It's great. I love it. All right, here we go.
Okay. I would tighten up your wet your, your logo. I see what you kind of done here you kind of put together. I would try to tighten this up, make it a little bit more. I like what you've done with the whole shear concept, but I tighten that up somehow. Make the landscaping port part that text a little easier to read.
This background image is really, really dark.
If you can make brighten that up or even do a video, that'd be optimal. See Here, this is kind of a low quality image, but it looks like it's your logo. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. But it would be great to see a higher image, a higher resolution image of you ideally. I love what you've done here. This is great. I love this whole scrolly idea. This is fantastic. Yeah, this is amazing. I love this. That's awesome. I love this idea. You got big kudos points for me on this one. Oh, that's great.
Okay, a bunch of pictures again. In my mind, pictures aren't really worth anything unless they show your brand.
Because these pictures could be for anywhere. You have to think of it from the skeptical mindset of a customer that's looking through this and like, okay, if they're showing me five star reviews on their website, is that really going to be honest? Like you're kind of, you're a little bit subjective at that point, right? By if you're showing reviews like, of course you're gonna put this right now you could be completely making it up. But this doesn't give the customer any, any good data unless they go like this. Cousins cuts, landscaping, Clear Field, Utah. They go put this into Google. All right, so here, now we got some stuff going on. We got 4.8 stars. Let's go. Yay. They were, they were honest. Let's go. But now this is what they're going to do. They're going to click on here and then they're going to click here. All right, this is what I talked about in the last. Actually tomorrow I'm going to talk about this on the video. Make sure you subscribe to YouTube. I'm going to be putting a video there about one star views on Google and other review sites. This is what customers do. They will go here and they'll look for the number one, the one star reviews and they'll read the two star reviews and that's about where they'll stop. They're not, they are not going to go to the five stars. Like they're just, you have 45 of them. Like it's not, it's not fun. So how you respond to those are really important. We're going to talk about that tomorrow. But in terms of putting things like this on your website, I don't see the value because the client, while on the page doesn't see the value. Now if you potentially made a link or put like see reviews from our most recent customers with a link to this, that potentially might work, right? That might be adding value to the customer. All of this white space though, needs to be cleaned up. This could be easily, you know, landscaping could be brought up. This can be made a lot bigger and a little more pronounced. I would love to see again uniforms and trucks. Like if you guys look at Augusta's site, all you see is trucks, uniforms, and Max, our mascot, because they're we want. This is a branding play, right? Okay, let's go to the next one.
Whoa, there's a lot of mercy. Okay, I'm gonna have to go faster.
So funny. Was watching video from two days ago and got it got up to when you were looking up someone's website, then got notification for this. Oh, that's awesome. Willing to be humbled as well. Awesome. Mike. How much is a website? Jeremy, just go to to longhearwebdesign.com watch the video on there. It's like 20 minutes long. It walks through the whole process of how it happens and all the rest of it. And I talked about last week. We have had two people cancel subscriptions. We don't have a contract. We don't like second guess you or try to upsell you again if you try to cancel. We're just not that way. We believe in our product. We believe it brings in lots of leads. We know how much work we put in the SEO side of things. Every sing quarter, when we're looking at every single site, and if you have videos and pictures that you want to change, it's unlimited changes. Just send them to us. We'll get them up usually within 24 hours. If it's on the weekends, probably two days. But like, they're like, we're really good at this stuff and I'm confident in that.
You're right. That's not Fred. That was great. I love that. If we can't do a website, if we can't do a website, what do you suggest to use as advertising in a neighborhood?
I would definitely go the print route. Right. Door hangers, yard signs. If it's a nice neighborhood, you're not gonna be able to do yard signs. So door hangers or every door direct mail, like postcards. So that's why like last week we made these for everyone.
To be able to get these because like postcards and door hangers and all the rest of it. Because there are going to be places that you can't do yard signs, for example. But I would do that. It sounds like if you don't have a website, it means that your budget is low for marketing. And so if your budget is low for marketing, you should Go print door knocking, door hangers. Very much more guerrilla marketing. If you're spending any money on digital ads or advertising of any sort, you want your website to be the first place you put money, in my opinion. Right. And whether that be, you know, $400 a month with longer web design or not, I don't care. Even if it's your first hundred dollars. Before you go spend on Facebook ads and Google Ads and all these other things, you need to have a good website. And in my opinion, $400 on a website will turn the thousand dollars that you're spending on advertising right now. It'll double the impact of that and equate to almost like as if you would have spent 2,000 in marketing. So I just, I just don't. It's not wise in my opinion to run, to run Facebook ads or Google Ads or next door ads or YouTube ads to like a Google my business page or a Facebook page. It's much better to run it to your website because you, you don't, they don't have banners and ads popping up. It's completely your brand and that's why it's so important to have pictures of your trucks, pictures of you, your employees. That is the brand.
Okay, gotcha. All right. I'm way behind Mercy a green formula, but I watch your YouTube video all the time.
What's up my lawn care fam? Okay, let's keep going here. People in the live chat drop Mike a like in this video. David, thank you, thank you for, thank you for bringing up the obvious coupon for your website design service. We don't have any coupon. It's always going to be 3.99. It's never going to change. We might give one free website away in at gie but we'll never discount. We know exactly what it cost us. We make about 140 to $145 per month per website. And so it takes about a year to recoup the cost of our initial build with you. And so we know our, the only way we make money is keeping someone for year after year after year. And the only way we're going to do that is constantly improving the site making to where you rank really well and more importantly that you get leads, you get real results from it. If you're not getting results, I don't want you to stay on with long care web design. Go get a free website. You do not need us. So I'm new around here and also run a trailerless setup. Dodge Promaster helps with the billboard Passive marketing wrap coming this month. That's very cool. Thank you. Thank you. Spell check. Thanks, Mike. Name and email. Phone number. Can we text Dirt Reynolds? I'm assuming you're talking about Lawn Care web Design. Just info at info@lawn careweb design.com. that'll come right to our team and we'll contact you. If you actually fill out a form and pay, you're gonna get priority because you've paid. We're gonna jump right onto your website immediately.
Ethan, if you type in like words, type in words or something because apparently your, your, your link isn't showing up in the chat you said. So try to type in the words and I'll try to get what you're saying. My wife said. Yeah, exactly. What Lawn Pro said. Yeah. Thank you.
I'm ugly.
That's awesome, Jeremy. So this is when you need to recruit your wife because she probably looks good. Or your kids or maybe your employees. Like, get someone at church that looks half decent. That's great. I love it. Oh, yeah. Tim Bell, how do you feel about the Better Business Bureau seal on a website? I do not feel like it has a whole lot of merit. It did maybe 15 years ago, but now I just do not see it working, like, doing anything. Like, when was the last time? Like, yes, people that are really crazy usually are the ones who are on bbb. Like, same thing with like Yelp. The people who go read Yelp reviews before and judge me on that, I'm like, look like, you know, all the one star reviews are the ones that stuck and all the five star ones are the ones that are not recommended. So if you're going to judge me on that, like any especially business Better Business Bureau because only complaints usually go there. And like people are like, oh, I'm gonna go buy an online review on Better Business Bureau. Maybe in some markets it's that way. But I know like in most, if not all markets I've ever seen, BBB does not have the weight it used to have. And they're gonna try to sell you. They're gonna call you and try to sell you like a $2,000 a year and like hype up how important it is to have the seal it brings in all this business. Sorry, it just doesn't. Twenty plus years ago, one of my lawn cutting customers said to me, I don't do any projects under $5,000. Or maybe it's 50,000. I don't know. He was a pond and water feature builder. I learned to know my customer base.
Back. I am new to this. What are the margins in lawn? Okay, we're talking about websites today. We mowitall.com Larry, come on. I love your website name though. Come on. We. Let's see if we can do this. We mo moitall.com showing good. All right, let's see here. Yeah, I love this. I love this kind of logo though. I love that. I definitely would recommend a picture of you or your brand in the background. A video would be ideal. Unfortunately, you're probably not getting sponsored by right stand on mowers. So why are we showing their mower? I have no idea. No idea. I want to make the money. I am sponsored by myself. I want to show me I am doing an all proceeds of this donation comes to me. So, like if you're doing a business, it's for profit. We want this, when they come to this website to be about you. Right. Ideally, your truck probably has a we mow it all big logo on it or a trailer or your logo, your uniform. So ideally that would be there again, just putting their email address. In my opinion, not super ideal. I'm also going to guess that you get a lot of spam from this. Ideally, this is an actual estimate request form. It looks like you're running everyone through calling. But why do that? Because if someone's on the toilet looking for lawn care on the toilet, but hey, guess what? They are swamp to Facebook. They are doing everything else on their phone in the toilet. They're doing it underneath their desk at the office. So while they're doing that, they're not going to be able to call you. Right. So that's why the estimate request form is so important. A massive chunk of our leads come through the estimate request form. And I attribute it to the fact that if you're going to do online digital media ads or people are looking through Facebook and all these other places, they are likely to be wanting to stay on their phone. They do not want to call you. So I like the fact that this is clickable. But I would definitely make this in an actual form.
I would definitely make this a picture or video that showed more of your brand.
And I would add tabs. I would do a services tab. So you can do wemo it all.com mowing wemo it all.com lawn care. We do a mo do it. We mow it all.com.
Landscaping, whatever it might be really helps with SEO.
All right, next up.
Let'S see here. Let's see later. That's not what I was asking Dirt Reynolds. I want to move on. What. What are we talking about?
I need pictures and vehicles set up, but that's all coming. Let me know what you think. Texas Mobile Lawn care dot com. Texas.
Texas Mobile Lawn Lawn care dot oh, Texas Mercy. Texas Mobile Lawn care dot com. Right. Probably serving San Antonio. Okay. Oh, I like this. This is cool. Texas Mobile. Book mowing. Now, why is it called mobile? Is that an actual place? Texas Mobile at Texas Mobile Lawn Care. What's this significance of the mobile part? I think we're all mobile, aren't we? Because we don't really have, like, a location you come to.
Okay, that's cool. I like this. I like the design. This is really cool. I don't like getting $5, $10 off your first service. I don't like that. I don't like discounts. But yeah, again, this is a great logo. Great design. I would love to see pictures of you, your uniforms, your trucks. Like, you guys can see. Can see the theme here. That would like. This is a great logo. I don't get the significance of the word mobile just because we're all mobile, but again, I like the fact you have the booking thing on here. That's really cool. Does it work? Oh, we have broken links, folks. We have broken links. When I click on the bookings tab, it doesn't do anything.
I go to the about page. It works. Okay. Yeah. I would just try to spend a little time with. Even if you take a, you know, your mobile phone and take some pictures of you, your crew, your trucks and. Yeah, from a branding standpoint, the mobile part is throwing me off just a little bit. Unless there's a place called mobile that you're working with. Like, you work in a place called Mobile, but I think it's San Antonio, so get a quote. Let's see where this goes. Oh, this goes right to yard book. Ah. And that's what the problem with your bookings pages, too, is. This is not connected correctly to yard book looks like. So. Okay, got it.
Yeah. Honestly, everyone out there just needs to go. Go click around on your website, look for broken links, look for things that. Where's that image? Then look on a cell phone and see, like, where does things look a little funky? Where do you have to, like, scroll left and right on your phone just to see certain things?
I definitely recommend doing that. Wow, we got a bunch of people watching. All right, let's keep going. King Lawn and landscape dot com.
King Lawn and Landscape dot com.
Cool.
Add natural beauty to your property by hiring our landscape company based in Baton Rouge. Louisiana.
Okay, so first thing first, I love the fact that you have the floating header, but you gotta have the. See how the. See how this is messing you up now? Because your floating header doesn't have a background. Because. So for example, let me go back to Cosney.
This is the one, one of the ones we build at Lawn Care Web Design. But like right when we start scrolling, see how it changes to black and then stays bold behind there so that way it doesn't get confused with all this text and things. So do that for your website. Here. See this is just. You're gonna, you're from a design point, just confusing. Again, pictures in the background, in my opinion should absolutely be a picture of you, your truck, your employees, not these random houses. Like, honestly, if you change the word in most lawn care landscaping websites I see, if you change the word lawn care and landscaping to real estate development, it would pass because we have a bunch of pictures of houses.
People are not hiring that house. They're like, oh, that's a nice house. I'm going to hire this company. No, they should be saying that's a really nice looking crew or that's a really nice looking truck. And like brand awareness starts to become into play. So, you know, I think this top header should be a block of white and so that way you can actually see your logo a little bit better too. And then everything else would pop off and then as you scroll down it would be solid and not being lost there.
Okay. My 10 year old is a boss when it comes to door knocking. Let's go. So like when I first started Augusta Lawn Care the first year, my sister, she was at the time like 15 and she would, I had her, I would have her cold call people out of the yellow pages just so that she could. And they literally set me up estimates so we'd say, hey, you know, we're going to be in your area tomorrow doing an estimate. Just wondering if you'd like us to drop by and do a lawn care estimate for you too. And it worked. We got customers from it. Now I wouldn't recommend doing that because all of the stuff around phone calling stuff, but. Okay.
Let'S keep moving along here. Desalvio property services. I need a URL if at all possible. We mowitall.com sorry, I did not make she cite. Huh? We mow it. Okay, let me try that one. We mow itall.com. is that the one we're going for now? We mow it. Wait, we just did this one. Ah.
Check out My website, please. Urban roots landscaping.com. urban roots landscaping Calm.
Ooh, I like your logo very much. Oh, yeah, that's great branding.
Okay, stock images. You know guys, you guys know what I feel about those.
Okay?
Yeah, I would love to see your trucks. I would love to see your work with your crew, with your equipment, with your customers. These are all stock images. Oh, don't do it. Don't do it. Oh, this is in Tacoma. This is not far from me. So let's do this. Let's go to your Facebook page and let's go to photos.
Okay, let's see here.
Let's see here. Oh, this is Dylan. Dylan, this is the picture I want to see on the front page. Your friendly face would do much, much better than these potted plants. Telling you what, man. Okay, so that's that. Dylan.
Let'S see here. Yeah, I would love to see your truck. Is this your uniform?
That's an Adidas. No uniform, Dylan. Tut, tut, tut. No, but this picture is the type of thing I'd much rather see than a mower. That stock image or a picture of a customer's house or just a house in general. I'd much rather see these than. Than those.
Let's see here. Oh, my goodness. This one. Hey, Mike, when does the monthly charge begin? At 3, after the website up and running. Kelvin Kevin. So what you pay to initiate service? The reason we had to do this is because we had several. So what Kevin is asking here is like, do I have to pay? And then we get started on building your site. Yes, unfortunately, because originally you could basically get started and we'd build this great website and then the person wouldn't pay and we'd spend thousands of dollars developing it and weeks of work with our team building this thing, doing all the research in your market, we look at all of your competitors websites, we look for holes in their SEO, we look for which words they are not ranking well in that we can exploit. If you're, especially if you're in a smaller market, we look at all sorts of stuff and then they wouldn't pay. So unfortunately you do have to fill out that form on the website here when you actually want to sign up. If you fill this out, you actually do pay. But you can see here like list the three areas you want to target. Do you have an existing domain? And then when you look at, when you go to these three cities, we're going to look at your competitors inside of there. And when you fill out this form, it's not like A couple weeks later, we, like, send you a website. We're gonna contact you. It's gonna be Tori or one of the other teams that'll reach out to have a phone conversation. We do a lot of stuff through email, but we do phone calls with you at especially to make sure you like the website. We give you a first draft, all the rest of it. But unfortunately, we do have to charge back to your question, the 399. And then we start building the site. I hope that makes sense. But we have put. We have built too many sites where we start, we build this massive, awesome website, and then we never hear from somebody, and that just stinks. So we do have to charge, and then you get in the system. But that being said, if you're diligent about giving us, like, which blurbs of text you want for certain services, if you're diligent about giving us the pictures, giving us the video, we can pound out sites within two to three weeks at least get the first draft up and publish and then start reiterating it with you. But, yeah, unfortunately, we had to do that. I don't like that, but we were kind of getting ripped off Robinson's lawn. Okay, I'm gonna try putting robertsonslawn.com robertsonslawn.Com.
Oh, cool. I think this is yours, sir. Fort Wayne. Very cool.
There are no currently special offers. Okay. Yes, this is a free site. This is a great site for someone that's solo. And this is what I'm gonna guess Robertson's lawn landscape is. It's just a one truck with this enclosed trailer. Love the fact that you actually include this. I would love to see your face. Oh, you got gallery. Let's see what we got. He says some of your work. Okay. Again, I would love to see about Robertson's high quality, since you might. Okay. Brothers Matthew and Michael. Great. Love the name. So you got two phone numbers. Probably one going to each of you. Okay. So I don't think this is bad. I would just say I would like to see more of you both. Like a picture of you both, like, you know, Matt and Mike with your uniforms against this truck would be much better. This is a great site, though. If you're solo. This is all you need. If that's what you want to stay, this is what you should do. You should not come get Lawn careweb design dot com. If you want to stay small, you can't afford it. It's not worth it. You should spend the $400 on something else. Gonna get long Curb design. If you want to grow much bigger and you want. When people come to your site, they know this is a really, really professional company that I'm willing to spend $80 an hour instead of, say 60. Right. So hope that makes sense. But this is a great site for someone solo. This is probably free. Again, this is not a secure site. I think you guys can see that. Let me see here. Yeah, so in the top left here, if you're in Chrome or if you click into here and you copy this and then you paste it again. See how it just H. HTTP. If it says HTTPs, it means it has an ssl, it's secure, basically. And the problem is when you have an unsecured site and you don't have an SSL certificate for the website. Google hates that because it's not. There's a certain level of encryption you need to get an SSL certificate which secures the data from the site. So Google does not like unsecured websites. So if you go to urban roots, see that little lock in the corner there? That is going to say this is a secure connection. And if I copy it and I paste it, you can see the S here that is from that. This website has an ssl. It is, has an SSL certificate. It's called. And again, very important from a SEO standpoint. Yes, it's important to secure the data from your customers. Yes, I a hundred percent agree. We have privacy policies on all of our websites, but it's also a matter of SEO because Google does not want to push sites that are unsecured. All right. Puts them at a liability. Okay, let's see here. Had no idea anyone else had the same name. Not surprised though. Larry. That's hilarious. That's great. I love it. Believe it or not, I've picked up jobs that big long term has slept on. Small yards are big money. It's guarantee. Yeah. Integralons.com integra lawns.
All right. This is so much fun. We've almost been an hour.
Okay, let's go. Okay. I love, love the logo. Love the fact that you got pictures of your crew working big, big brownie points there. Okay. You have service autopilot. I can see that. That's clickable. Love that. This is good. Very good. I like, I like. Very nice In Fort Worth. Burleson. Ben. Yes, very much. Okay. Very cool. I don't think this is very valuable, to be perfectly honest with you. This, this like literally this is a picture that you dragged off of, off of Google that has all these five stars and Stuff. So let's fact check them, guys. I'm just giving you a hard time. By the way, Integra Lawns. Is it in Texas? Yeah, Fort Worth, Texas. All right, see what happens. Oh, lies 4.7 stars. And they said five stars.
This is like literally what a bad customer will do. That's why I would. I would just drop that altogether, honestly. You know, your 4.5 stars on Yelp, that's actually really good. But on these other ones, I just leave it. I would not include this picture again. It's not adding any value to the customer and the customers. Customers are smart. Customers are skeptical. They know that you can drag a picture of this from Google. Oh, I like this. This is nice. I like the site. I like. Yes. Very cool intro. Let's see what this is all about.
Jeremy. Very cool. Cool.
I like picture of truck. Very nice. I like this.
Okay, we've got reviews. Aw, that makes it a little bit long. This front page is a little bit long. To be perfectly honest with you. People don't scroll this far, right? So would much rather. And I would imagine a lot of this stuff you have in these. Oh, broken link. No, no, don't do that to me. No, we were going so good. Oh, no.
Oh, no, no. We have broken links.
Oh, it's loading. Oh, there we go. You are back in business. We're back in business. Okay, that's good. But test. Oh, wait, it was just loading. Okay, I apologize. Okay, here's our reviews. Got it. Whole bunch of reviews. Okay, so my problem is this, Jeremy. This is a really long homepage. And what you've done is you try to put everything in your homepage. When, like, those reviews, for example, are under testimonials, just leave them there. Make your homepage like a starting point for customers. You want them to start digging into your website and getting knee deep in it, in my opinion. Okay, you got three locations. Wow, that's a pretty big business. Good for you, man. Got three locations. Very nice. Yeah. So again, like, I would really, really recommend shortening up the homepage, making it place for people to start, and then you have them click off and start waiting through your site. Google loves it when people get on your homepage and then start going to your service page, and then they go to your testimonials page, then they go to your about page, and then they click on something in your header and they click on something in your footer. This is great. But when you make a really long homepage like this, it does get a little bit long. I love the fact though that you have a floating header that will allow people just to click on something else if they wanted to. I give this like an 8 and a half, 9 out of 10 though. It's a great, great site. I think the one thing Jeremy, you could do is make this background a video. It would really step up the production value and then cut out this dead space. There's about 2 inches right here of dead space above these guys heads. I would just make it where the video is. Basically this.
But knowing how big your company is by the looks of it at least get your phone, get an Osmo 420 bucks on Amazon from DJI and it's a gimbal and you'll make a very professional looking video. And you can put in the background here. That would be my 2 cents. But that's a really great website. If everyone in the landscape industry could get there, I'd be a happy man.
Okay, see here Dylan. Someone helped me with the site but still has a stock photos. I'm not sure how we are doing with SEO so Dylan let's. We can, you know what everyone should do is just do you know Tacoma, Washington Lawn care? I know you're new Dylan, so I'm not being hard on you here because you're probably not going to show up but this is, you know the ultimate SEO game is like this is where you actually want to be at.
The good news is you only have TLC lawns.net as well as Oscars lawn service etc.com that are actually real companies because Yelp and your green pal and HomeAdvisor and Thumbtack are all an Angie's list are all on here but they aren't real businesses. So that is a good thing because it means that you have an opportunity to actually rank pretty quickly. So like when we do lawn carewebdesign.com or even Augusta lawn care franchisees, I'm looking for this. Like how good are other companies and competitors in the area when it comes to SEO? And in your area we can literally click on oscars lawn service etc.com. this is the best ranking website when I type in Tacoma Lawn Care like we you can beat this. This is not hard. So.
Yeah that, that's a good opportunity. I see, I see as big opportunity. Okay, next up.
My social media should be linked with pictures of our brand. I'm still working on it. How do you make your website.
For Pharaoh Landscaping.com? okay, that's just interesting. Pharaoh Landscaping Landscaping.com. oh whoa, whoa. I spelled something wrong. Oh no. Hey, we're good. So this is a not secured site. You get in here, you can see not secure. It doesn't have an ssl. Google does not like that.
That's a cool thing. I don't know if. Is that from Ferrari? It looks like a Ferrari thing. Why do we have this massive truck? Oh, sodding. You do sodding great. Okay, cool. Yeah. So I definitely would love to see some pictures of your crew out working, doing sodding. I think you know, Pharaoh, for example, it'd be great if you did me a tagline. Explain a little bit more that you do sodding and landscaping. Because I get to the site, I see big dump trucks and I see trees. I don't see sod. I don't see landscaping. I don't see your crew working. And even here, like you know about us. Why are we seeing pictures of rocks? We should see a picture of the owner or the crew or you doing your work. Something like that. This is better. They go seeing at least someone doing landscaping. That's great.
Your copyright, if you guys don't have copyrights, put the year. So for example, if we like Integra, he had one here at the bottom. Yeah, it's copyright 2021 Integra Lawns. So when you do a copyright, you have to do three different things to actually make it valid. One, you have to have the copyright symbol. That's the little C thing there. Then you have to have the year 2021. Then you have to have the owner of the copyright, which is integral on. That's why it has to be that way. If you don't have those three things, those are the three marks of a copyright. It doesn't really hold any weight, FYI.
Okay, Dirt. You're in a lawn care and landscaping channel. To talk badly about lawns is not going to be well accepted. Distinct-lawns.com distinct lawns.com distinct lawns.Com.
Okay. Pictures in the background has a video in the background. So this is going to be really, really hard from an SEO standpoint in terms of load speed, this type of background is not rewarded. You're.
You should put the phone number here. I, I think even though you have made the call word clickable to your actual phone number. Again, where do you service in my mind is really important. You don't have it anywhere. So I can tell it's Grand Rapids, Michigan just from your header title. But that should be somewhere in here. Oh, I see West Michigan. But I would put it up here a Little bit. So it's a little more clear. Veteran owned. That's awesome. Now this is a yard book, I guess. Yard book. What's this? Yard book. Okay.
Gallery blogs. Yeah, I would. I would clean up the design here. Right. Like, this is hard to read. It doesn't need to take so much scrolling to get here. And if you guys are wondering too, like, even in terms of like, what's mobile friendly, just do this. This is not mobile friendly. Right. So.
Ideally, you look on your phone. Wait, I could be wrong. Give me one second here. Let me go to this one. Yeah, I'm wrong. Take that back. This is. I didn't optimize it for my mobile thing anyways. Look on your phone. That's gonna be the fastest, most accurate way. See if this is mobile friendly. But I don't think this is gonna be very mobile friendly. There's a lot of scrolling. These pictures. Again, I like to see you. I'd like to see your brand, in my opinion. All right, we can only do a couple more. I know there's a bunch coming in, but let's see here. Let's see here. Let's see here. We did that one. Okay.
Oh, man, I've done. I'm missing so many people. Sorry, guys. I'm just gonna do a couple more quick flick. Thank you for the $5. Hey. Website is GMK property services dot com. GMK property services.
Love that. I don't like saving 10%. I don't like discounts.
Oh, wow. So you get 20% off.
Okay, cool. I like the overall design of this. I really do.
I think I'd love to see your pictures of your trucks, your equipment. And again, this picture is probably yours. I can tell that. But I'd love to see pictures of you, your trucks, your equipment, your uniforms.
Cool. I would like to see a page for every one of these services. So It'd be like GMK property services.com weeding and then another page for slash, planting, etc. It's going to really help you on your SEO.
Get free estimate. Let's see where this takes us. Is a pretty big form. I try to consolidate that form and put it above the fold right here. Then I have a picture or video of you and your trucks and your equipment, etc. But overall, the design of this website is clean. I like it. I like clean. Clean is good.
Cool. Yeah. Kevin, if you guys. If you get the pictures that you want on the site before you sign up for lawncrub design.com, your setup process will Go so much faster if you have everything ready to go. Are you building with WordPress, Victor? I don't know which site you're referring to. Sorry, I'm a little behind on the comments. I apologize. All right. Aurora. Aurora Lawn services dot com. Aurora Lawn Services.
Oh, I spilled it, right?
New York, East Aurora. Okay, I don't think this is necessary. Terms and conditions to be underneath here. I'd make a tab that says so for example, let's go back to Augusta. We have a privacy page right here. Privacy policy here. So like have that. If you're wanting to do a whole bunch of. Oh cool, they put those on here. Let's go.
But if you're gonna have a whole bunch of like fine print about privacy and all the rest of it, don't put it on your homepage. Like right here. I would do a link to it.
Okay, cool. Clickable. Yes. Clickable. Yes. Check, check again. Pictures. I would love to see your crew. I would love to see your employees. I would love to see your trucks. I would love to see your brand.
Oh yeah, that's a stock image. I see that on a lot of people's. Okay.
Okay. Yeah. So again for so many of you, you're noticing a constant theme and that is get your brand more on. On the. On the website as much as possible. Also this background. I really recommend you could take out half of this banner up top here by simply making your logo smaller. Putting it over here, take this, make it one line and then you bring up all of this up another inch and a half and you actually be able to see this part as well as this would be more, more visible. And also make it clear in terms of what this context form is going to do. So like get a free estimate that would help. Or request a quote in bold here above this form is important to know what they're getting themselves into.
Okay, let's see here. Okay, we got a ton of sites coming in.
Oh, we mow. We mo all dot com. I did not make the site but I want to fix it. I mistyped earlier since the company name is We Mow it All. Okay. We mow all dot com. We mo all dot com. Okay, I gotta go here in just a little bit probably. Okie dokie. Okay, so this is gonna look good on. On a mobile device, but is not looking good on. Ah, that's what those are. We Mow It All. That's the homepage services. Okay, so this is another one page website. I'm not a huge fan of that. Cause I don't get to tap into the benefits of having multiple. Multiple pages with multiple links. So for example, if I'm searching lawn care in.
Where do you service? Which is again, another something you should be at the top. I don't even know where you service. Oh, that's not good. 501 number. I don't know what that is. So area code 501, not good. When you guys search the area code to figure out where the person's servicing. Ah, Little Rock, Arkansas. Very good. So it should be right at the top here. Servicing Little Rock, Arkansas with lawn care and landscaping. Whatever you do, there's no reason to have this massive logo here. Then they got to scroll just to see contact us today. Then they got to scroll again just to see what services you offer. Then they got to scroll again to see 25%. I don't like discounts. I don't like it. I don't like it. And then your contact is small, like. So I would really recommend trying to go after more of a traditional design. Having your tabs at the top. Having different pages for each of your services from an SEO standpoint helps because people search lawn care. Little Rock Landscaping, Little Rock. So let's just type it in. Let's do Little Rock, Arkansas lawn care. Okay. So when someone types that in, they're going to be trying to find someone in that area that does lawn care. And you want to make sure that you have a slash, slash lawn care that picks this up. Okay. So that would be my two cents. Ah, there's your Google. Oh, no. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, this is a Google site.
Got it. Oh, no, it's not. Oh, no.
Oh, no, this is not good. Oh, I like that picture. Hey, hey. Where'd that echo? Where did that go? Yeah, yeah, this is, this is what we need right here. See, that's better than any picture you can have of stripes right there. That's what you need. Furthermore, though, you're running ads against your business.google.com business page. Drive them to your website. Again, if you improve your website, I would definitely improve the web. Spend a little time on the website before you start running ads. But like this ad, this Google Ad is running to your. Your Google my business page. I would improve your site a little bit with those things I mentioned and then drive traffic there. But you want, you want to go a little more information above the fold than just your logo. Right? So I don't want to just, just see this. Like, I don't know what's going on for All I know, you could be anything in the world. You could be a nursery. You could be a sod company. You could be a leaf removal company. You could be, I don't know, anything green like. Right, you mow it all. Okay. They're only doing mowing. Well, do they only do mowing? No, they actually do all this other stuff too. They do hedges and tree trimming and all sorts of stuff. So again, I would. At the top here, where who are you servicing, what areas as well as what services have different tabs. Don't do this whole one page long scrolling homepage for your whole site.
Okay. All right, we're going to do one more and you guys, if you guys have questions about long care web design, I'll answer those and then we'll call it a day. Better lawn. Better care. Lawn.net Better care. Lawn.net Better Care.
Hi, my name is Travis McFarland.
That's cool.
Okay. You made this on Wix? Uh oh, oh, oh. I don't like that. Whoa. You're living in the future. You're copyrighted in 2023. I love it. I love it. Yes. This is just a really harsh, like tough design. Is it old? I don't know if this is JavaScript or what, but it's like you have this background image and then this scrolls inside of it. You're gonna get penalized for this design.
Yeah, I would try to change this up. Even if you just stay with wix, Travis, there's better designs than this. Even if you stay with wix, you don't have to go. No big. Because it looks like you're just getting started things. That's awesome. Great. But you can definitely improve the design here. Definitely. Like these don't even work. These buttons. Why are we advertising for Pinterest, Snapchat, YouTube and Twitter? YouTube is a trillion dollar company. Google, why are we doing free branding for them by throwing their logo up here? I don't like it. I don't like it. I'd love to see a logo and then just a little bit, like I said, better design. Let's see what this YouTube channel. Whoa.
Whoa. What's up brother?
Yeah, so even if you stay with wix, there's better designs out there. The worst thing for a customer is to see things that are not available. Broken links in your site, those are all really, really bad things. Even typos like this will grab people's attention. So again, if you're trying to be a premium service, this stuff you gotta look at. And this is what's gonna separate you from is the competition.
Okay, let's see here. Junior Costa, CC Lansky. Means we'll have to do another one. I gotta go. It's been an hour and 10 minutes. I gotta run. Maybe we'll do like a really long live stream and you try to like a hundred websites or something like that. I'll answer some questions now about long care web design before I bounce. Just the next couple minutes. All right. Need a starter price. 399amonth is hard for small startups. I 100% agree, and I played with this idea, but we're not going to do it. The reason for that is because for us to do it right and for us to put our name on it, it needs to be of a certain quality. And if we're gonna go lower for like 1 99, and then it's a matter like, oh, we won't do your SEO or we won't do unlimited changes, well, then it just discounts the whole brand the same way that you wouldn't. You don't want to do mowing once a month because it makes your lawns look bad and gives you a bad rep in the neighborhood. Us doing a cheaper starter model that doesn't include SEO or includes only the first build out, and then we never touch it again. I'm totally against that. I'm totally against building a website and leaving it. We've changed Augusta Lawn Care web design. I'm sorry. Augusta Lawn Care services, like, at least 20 times since we built it because the algorithm changes, the season changes, different types of services that we want to highlight changes. All that is very important, and we want to be doing all the time. And when I say 20 changes, I mean 20 overhauls. Like, we revamped it, and we always are changing the pictures and the video and all the rest of it. So that's why we do that. We believe the 399 point is is fair because we don't charge anything up front. Right. If we were charging, like, say, you know, our cost, like three to four grand up front, then we could charge a hundred, two hundred dollars per month and it'd be fine. But we got charged the 400 because it takes us that year just to recoup our costs and, you know, start making money. And then we make about 140, $150 in profit, and that's what we use to make this content.
I love the insight 2 second look. What's this? I think my website is. All right, give it a quick look. Kate will do more websites later.
Okay, I think that's it. Unless there's any other question about lawn care web design, everyone should go check it out again. Not if you are solo, and that's where you're wanting to stay. But if you're wanting to grow, you want to charge a premium price. I genuinely believe. I genuinely believe that having A website from longdesign.com will warrant you to raise your prices. Let's just say $2 an hour, okay?
