Hey, everyone. Hope you're having a fantastic Friday. I kind of started this a little bit too late. That's not good. Okay.
Rock and roll. I'm going to switch over to my Ethernet. One second here.
All right. The coaching program has launched today. They'll be wrapping up the last few locations to make sure your coaching website logins are ready to roll.
There's a pinned post in the Facebook group with a walkthrough of how that works from Lee.
Boom. There you go.
Present. I had several people text me the other day asking about where the Facebook ads are I was talking about. They're not ready yet. Give me one more week. I want to do another call with Dr. Kashi and go over several more things. I will be having several different options for ads for copy and creative by end of next week, next weekend because we focused last time mostly on the instant quote forms. I want to also focus a little bit more on the 24.7Phone side of things and how we pitch that. So just hold on another week. All right. That's in Facebook.
Cool. We're having issues at Command center with Internet because we pay Comcast gobs of money for 1.25 gigabytes of Internet. But for some reason it gets really slow for a few minutes at a time. It's really annoying. I think it's because there's so many devices on. So we're going to have to create a router and have different wi fi networks for team members devices versus Ethernet. So we're working on that. Hopefully the clarity of my image will get better next week. All right. We have some questions I do believe. And look at that. My monitor seems to be working today.
Okay.
Hopefully next week we will have the finalized updates on next year's conference.
We are 99% sure of the dates. I haven't announced anything yet because I haven't paid any money. And typically when you pay money and sign on a dotted line for hundreds of thousands of dollars, that's when it's really locked in. So I'm hoping. I'm hoping if not today, Monday, I can sign for that and I'll be able to lock in the dates. We are currently looking at January 16th, 17th and 18th, with the Thursday being for Augusta Nation only.
And we are likely going to rebrand it. The the public conference, public conference as Blue Collar Summit and the landscape Summit will just be that Thursday for Augusta Nation.
So that is what we are working towards. I will have finalized details next week, so please don't plan around that yet.
And yeah, we'll see how things go. We toured a bunch of different facilities and it's just getting difficult as you pass 500 people to actually have a facility that is accommodated for that many people, but more so not just a conference center. Like it's nice to have the hotel there. So we're trying to balance that out.
But I think it's going to be good. I really look forward to this location. We have some very fun activities for all of us at Augusta Nation that'll do better than just a dinner together. It's going to be great. Looking forward to that. I will have much more details next week on that. All right, let's jump into some questions.
Oh, by the way, if. If Lee posts the CC unfiltered, I definitely recommend watching it. He asked me a lot of questions about Augusta, so feel free to watch that one. I think you might find it interesting. Probably not a whole lot of new things in there because we talked about on the round table a lot, but you might like that one. Okay, let's jump into it. Tim, I asked about two months ago the media department if we could get a postcard for thank yous. Thank you. That way we could save costs and not have to use an envelope. Haven't seen any update yet. Seems it would be pretty easy to do, but wondering if possible to have it possible before spring rush. Thank you. They are good ideas and it is difficult to say no to good ideas in order to focus on the great ideas. Some things do have to get pushed back there every single day they get. They get many, many requests. They have a chunk of new designs coming out I believe next month or in February. So.
Yeah, so if not next week, the week after. I believe they're planning on releasing at least four of them. So yes, there will be some coming out. I don't know if it's that one, but they had said they had four designs ready to roll. Tim, follow up from yesterday since there's no easy way to put in tips now. Okay. I guess you're talking about like payment receipts. Is it possibly do a workaround and have an email connected with PayPal sent out automatically when someone pays or manually pays. That way we aren't missing out on the feet free. You could do it what we used to do in Service Autopilot, which is on those on your paid invoice receipt emails just put a button like just literally copy what we did in Service Autopilot. If you want to to have a button to add tips in that'd be totally fine because you probably still have your PayPal account.
And you can just link it up the same way you did before. Mr. Anonymous, will you consider having a 2% discount for franchisees who put a ACH on file for commands and invoices? No, we won't. No.
It is a matter of. We are locking in, we have and will continue to lock in the fee per month. We don't have any adjustments to that based upon inflation.
The margins are extremely low compared to most franchises and we need every single dollar we can get. So we will not be giving the 2% discount. Nope.
That'S just the answer. I don't know how I want to say it, but Abraham Moscaro Hey Mike, since we don't have the magic button charge cards for this invoicing round, how often would it be okay to email our customers a reminder to pay or update their card info into Copilot? Almost all our customers have opened the invoice email. We're also asked to update their card, but only a few have done it. Trying to avoid cash flow issues. Yeah. So two things. One is I would make sure I tailor your automation sequence and I would change the title and the subject of your emails to be more about the payment information than the invoice. So for example, invoice, overdue payment, new payment information required. Like they will just literally, if you got an email like that, you would immediately click on it and then you would click on whatever link is in that email and you could very quickly do that. So I would make, I would change your title on invoice emails. You just change the, change the template name and then same thing with your automations for your follow up, I'd make your text messages and your email just focusing more on overdue invoices. Because if someone has a card in the file in the past and you have and you now are saying that they're overdue, they're going to take action. They're actually going to focus on it because unfortunately if they've had a card on file for a year and they just like, they just want their chart getting charged every month, they don't even look at your emails. It's like white noise. So I just recommend you've got to break through that. But like, hey, we need new payment information or like payment declined, click here to update. Right? And if they've been on card on file for a year, they're not even going to remember what your portal looked like. It won't even look new to them. They'll just be like, oh, boom. Okay, great. I go in the portal, oh, add a new card and then they add it. So I just focus. Like, I see a lot. I watch all the emails that they come through in the back end. And a lot of people send out these things, like mostly not in Augusta Nation, but like people saying, like, we have this new portal and like, look, the customer doesn't care. Just simply, they haven't looked. They haven't looked at the portal for a year because they had a card on file. Just tell them they need to update their payment information with a button and.
Do that when they have an overdue invoice. So there's actually reason to actually jump in and do it. And you can. Even if it got.
I would suggest now with Copilot having the ability to add late fees, your automation sequence for following up on unpaid invoices should say something along the lines of, please update this in order to avoid late fees that start in five days. Right. That will get people to move. And if you put that in the title, like in the subject being like late fees applied in five days, or like.
Update payment information to avoid late fees, those are the type of things that will. People will click that email.
So great question.
But you're usually going to have to change your titles and you're going to have to make it more on, hey, you have an overdue invoice and you have payment information that's invalid. Mr. Anonymous GM question. As an owner, I have that mindset where I work late to get things needed to keep the business successful. For a general manager, is it normal for them to think more as employees and think, I'll try to get to it tomorrow, it's getting late. I worked a long day, time to go home. Things may start to slip through the cracks. But how can we develop our GMs? I think more like owners. Or is this something they can't be taught? Thanks. I typically see the switch over only if they have been getting a lot of profit sharing. If it's in the first year or two and they're still not getting a lot of profit sharing, it can be difficult because they don't actually see the returns of, of the, of pushing the extra mile.
And then like some people are like, that's the reason they are a gm. They don't want to be an owner. They don't want to have to push that. So it just becomes a matter of like, if there's someone that is willing to that rise up inside the organization, they potentially might eclipse their ability. And then you have to you know, move things around. But I don't really care how long it takes you to get the job done. It's like, whether it takes you all weekend or it takes you get it done in six hours a day, I don't care. I'm looking at the results. So it's different if a location is struggling and the GM is unwilling to push versus a location that's extremely successful, extremely profitable, and hitting all their KPIs, like, hey, that's what I hired you to do. You're hitting the goal. Let's go. But when things start slipping through the cracks, that is not acceptable. And that's when I would be starting to question someone if they were like, well, I'm not willing to push through or, like, go the extra miles. Like, that's why you're in a place of leadership, and that's what a leader does. And so it's okay. We've. We've. And we've had it where we've had managers, but we move back to being crew members because they don't want to push, and that's fine. Like, it's a matter of just communicating. Like, hey, what are we willing to do here? But if things are slipping through the cracks and a leader, quote unquote, is not willing to go the extra mile, personally, I have an issue with it. But also, if a leader is crushing all cylinders and KPIs, I don't have a whole lot of reason to complain. I don't care how long you work, just get the job done right. It's like, are you rewarding them being there longer, or are you rewarding them getting the job done correctly? Right. And then when other people create slack, do they pick it up? And that person I value a lot personally. Not necessarily the right answer, but is the answer for me.
All right, what else do we got here? I think that's it.
All right, everyone. I hope you have a fantastic day. Some very cool things coming up next week. I look forward to sharing about conference, Facebook ads, and some other cool stuff. So we'll see you then. Take care.
