Hope you're doing amazing. Let's go and get started. A quick announcement I posted on the Facebook group that I did announce inside of Augusta Nation what the dates are for next year's conference. So those are in the Facebook group if you are interested. It is January 16th through 18th and as in the January 2025. So basically 11 months from tomorrow.
I'll probably be a few more weeks before we talk about it publicly. Just in terms of scheduling. Feel free to put that down. It's going to be in Seattle.
About 10, 15 minutes from the airport and should be fun. The first day will just be a destination from nine to three, kind of like we did two years ago.
And that we are going to call that Landscape Summit. So Landscape Summit is going to be just for our destination and then we'll move into Blue Collar Summit which will be for the public. So looking forward to that.
Some really good data in numbers I've been getting from one clip custom emails across the board as our deliverability has continued to go up inside Copilot. So that's been really fantastic. We are seeing the first couple weeks of February being the some of the highest numbers we've had in terms of number of leads coming in ever. And I think that is in due part to answering all the phones 247 as well as the estimate request forms being instant now and getting pricing. So that's awesome too.
So very good. I look forward to seeing that trend over the spring rush as we have those new systems implemented for the first time going into a spring rush.
All right, let's see here.
Alrighty.
First question. Caleb from Merritt island, currently the only Instant Quote door hanger that allows us to fill in the price when ordering is the all in one instant quote. And that's only for the mowing part. Can we please make it where the Mowing Instant Quote door hanger allows us to enter the price of ordering? This is a huge opportunity having to write prices on thousands of door hangers and I believe you said there are new designs coming that will have more editable features like this. Yeah, the ones upcoming they're allowing us to like enable you to change a whole bunch of the text in terms of services etc. Etc. If there's a specific door hanger and you can't change the price or add the price text in there, you can email mediaguestalandryservices.com and if you can screenshot which ones they are, they'll then forward that over to Vistaprint, ask if they can get those Added, I personally kind of like the writing in there because it looks like you actually went to their house and did it versus it being printed on there. So. But yes, you can, you can ask the media team and see if they can get of us to print to make that change. Carolet from Brins Creek, Tennessee. Why do I not do what I know I should do when I know what I should do when I know that I should do it? Wow, that's a good question.
I would say that we as humans are supposed to choose whatever is least hurtful when given a choice. That's usually kind of like how we evolve and how we make, et cetera. It's like whichever is going to cause the least amount of pain is typically the option we choose. And so we aren't programmed to necessarily think about the long term. Like, we are intrinsically built to think about the short term. Like what feels hot we will pull away from immediately before the signal of something you put your hand on, something super hot, on fire, your hand will come away from that before you actually think it because it'll hit your spinal cord and immediately go back out to your muscle and retract prior to even getting the signal to your brain. And so because we are intrinsically wired to avoid things that are painful in unfund, unfun things that are hurtful, painful.
Cause.
Like.
Distress. Like, because we're programmed to be that way, like just from our physiology and anatomy, like, I think it just like trickles down to like, okay, I want to make more money, for example. If that's your goal, you know what you should do to get there. But you're not intrinsically built in a way that's going to allow you to get there without pain. And because your body doesn't want that, it is easier to stay in bed and sleep is easier to, you know, give up on a Thursday when there's jobs piled up and you know you're going to be working to the weekend when three guys quit and like all that pain. The instinctual thing to do when there's pain is to run.
And so you have a fight, fight or flight response. But you can only fight so long until your body starts to give out. And so that's. Yeah. That I would dub you my two little sense that I can offer in terms of why you know what you need to do and it doesn't get done still because we're not like wired for that type of thing. Joel, what are your thoughts on this idea? The good, the bad and the ugly. Since copa has texting. I had an idea to test EDDM postcard with my locations copilot phone number with a message like text mo to oh that's not a bad idea. Then I could ask for a name and address to send an ot. Yeah that's the problem. You'd have to ask for that too. Okay, let's see here. I could ask for a name and address to send OTP quote via text or do a follow up call if there's no response within a few hours or a day. I'm guessing I'd have to turn off texting service from CC if I did this or it could lead to some confusion at cc.
Yeah the latter is true. Like if you're just going to make up like offers like this, you know command center is not going to be able to service you service your account if you have like different keywords that are triggering certain things we do have down the road like it's just again way down the road we do have a lot of tech stuff going to do with automations around like text this certain word and it would basically it would act like a one click estimate email. Same thing for like automated text responses. Like if they text you you can say like hey these are hours. We will respond like a lot of different things like that.
Yeah, I think this would be a good idea. Text mo. So I think the good thing is you're offering another form of communication with them. Right. The thing that I think you're still going to run into is you have to go back and forth with them a couple times to get all the information. Cause if they text mo to that number then you've got to ask for the name and address they've got to send that back to you and let's hope and pray they type it incorrectly and then you still got it to go through the whole same manual process. That's why the instant quote door hangers like right now they're okay but like the goal is to get it to where when they scan a QR code it goes immediately to a form that they fill out because it's all in one spot. There's no like back and forth communication required. Because I think what I think would happen is if you do this you're going to get a big drop off of the people that ask for the quote. You send the quote and then like you don't hear anything from them and now all you have is their phone number to text. You could I guess you could call them too but I'm not a, I'M not against this. No, a hundred percent not against this.
Text mode. If I'm to get an estimate.
Yeah, like, I, I just, I just, I just think that you're going to get a lot of people who don't respond back with their address or they respond back with like Bob on Main Street. You're like, okay, well I need the full address. I need the zip code. You forgot to give me the zip code. Like sometimes having a form just keeps them in, like in the system that you need them to stay in. But I'm not opposed. This, I would definitely say give this a shot. I'd probably do like a thousand every door. Direct mail postcards. Do another thousand in a different neighborhood and then just see where do you get your leads the week after? How many leads do you get from the one where you just had text, text mo. And how many leads do you get from the ones that says take a picture of this and send it to this email? Right. The eventual goal though is like, hey, scan this QR code. It immediately goes your instant price form. That instant price form is taking their card information, connecting it over to copilot. So there's no follow up you have to do. But I'm definitely interested to see how this works. I think there's no reason to not do this, so. Good idea. Joel, report back to us. If you do like a sample of a thousand in one neighborhood and a thousand in another neighborhood, keep in mind the neighborhood difference. There could be enough to change skew the results at a thousand. So I wouldn't exclusively look at that, but.
You could do is if you had a. If you had two different male.
Routes that are like intertwined somewhat in like a very same neighborhood, essentially just like they cut it in half for whatever reason. That'd be a one to test because then you could just go, hey, anyone inside this whole area, which includes two male mail routes, I'm just going to simply track how many people texted me and how many people sent me a picture and just run the math on that because you just don't want to. You don't want something like different neighborhood to skew the results of a thousand. That'd be my only thing. When will the Canva marketing files be available and where can we find them? When they are available?
They. I think they're only putting them on the pro shop, but I will check them with the media team because I think maybe put them on a dashboard too, the Canva ones. Because on pro shop we can't do campa. We have to like send them a pro to Vistaprint could do the whole rigmarole with them, like put in fields and they have to get it approved. So I know they've already submitted at least four, but Zach will put it on the Facebook group when those are live. I don't know if they've done the ones in Canva and if they put on the dashboard, I will get an update on that and then I'll have them summarize that in the Facebook group group as well. All right, everyone, have a fantastic rest of your Thursday and we will see you tomorrow. Take care.
