Hello everybody. Happy Friday. Let's go and get started.
Okay, I need to copy this link in real quick. I have a quick announcement for service autopilot members.
Just drop this link in here.
Boom.
All right.
While we're at it, actually let me show a couple things real.
Quick on here.
Percent share screen.
All right, first things first, Facebook group. This is a pretty cool thing we got. Now in the pro shop you can order these big jumbo checks. These are really nice.
Nice foam, really, really nice quality. They're 46 bucks. Highly recommend for profit sharing bonuses, you know, people stay for 90 days, things like that. Highly recommend this to give to your employees. 46 bucks, not bad. And it's really nice quality. Good packaging, good shipping, etc. All right, the other thing I was going to show.
Is for service auto users you will want to go to here. They have not been very good at picking up Augusta longer franchisees and giving you the discount automatically. For mobile users you'll need to go to this and just confirm with them by emailing this person. So just copy this. Literally send them an email saying I'm Augusta Lawn Care. Here's my username for service all putt make sure it says it's your email for Augusta Lawn Care and they should also be able to see that you are were one of your certified advisors. So make sure you do this. This will say $10 per user. So if you have, you know, 10 people like a hundred bucks a month per, pretty cool. Definitely make sure you do this though because they have been hit and miss of their automatic process of giving us discounts. So just make sure you email this person if you are using service autopilot and get that discount locked in. They say it's a one time deal and that should be good to go. So all right, let's go ahead and.
Pull up the mastermind. Oh, where's my thing?
All right, have eight questions.
Let me pull this one up.
Stop sharing this one. Cool.
Let's jump into questions.
Drag this over here. VR business present Share screen, Mastermind Chrome tab window.
There.
Okay, let's get started.
Boom, boom, boom, boom.
Great. Our first one of eight, Kyle Tarvin. I've always been fascinated interested in general bodily health. However over the last few years I haven't been taking such care of my health. I'm not going to lie, I'm a little scared of getting cancer or something curable their disease. Over the last few weeks I've been been on a very strict carnivore diet to eliminate a lot of the processed Foods I've previously enjoyed. I heard some good things with Carnivore or Keto and so far I'm seeing great results with Carnivore. I seem to remember you on keto. Maybe I'm wrong. I know you are pretty into health. So curious your take on this general health tips. Yeah, like I think it's really basic.
It's calories in, calories out and working out. Exercise. Eating right is, is, is obviously important is why like 75 hard works well I think for people is because like there's not a diet. It's like just have a diet, like, right? So for example, like right now I am horrible at eating late at night and it keeps me up all night working. So because I just don't get tired and then I wake up and I just have only had a couple hours of sleep. So I'm trying right now to not eat late. I'm going to try to restrict myself to eating like past six or seven o', clock, things like that. It's like it's. Everyone knows what to do, it's the execution of it. Right. So sometimes I'd highly recommend having some sort of a partner that you text, you have a chat with, et cetera. I know the franchisees. A whole bunch of you guys are doing the 75 hard together in a chat. That sort of thing is what keeps people around. It's the accountability. Having to post the picture of all the food you eat, the workouts that you do, the water you drink, those are the things that keep you accountable. So I definitely find someone that you can do some sort of diet stuff or health stuff with an accountability partner. They usually just take pictures of stuff and you share what you're doing because it helps a lot.
This is what our asset list looks like for Columbus Performance Max campaign was made 10 to 14 days ago, but all the images I use are still under review. Is this something you recommend reaching out to Google about? Let's check it out. So I'm assuming all your images are under review and then these ones are approved. And these ones are under review. These ones are approved. So it looks like basically they've allowed some of your search to go through and.
Some of your videos. No, they're all under review too.
So I would give it a couple more days, but then, yeah, give them a call. Like, hey, why are half of these accepted and half of them are not? Usually they don't wait that long when they're like split like that. Because they're all, they are all getting reviewed independently but typically once they've approved one, they approve all of them pretty quick. So you might have to call them if it's continue like that for a couple more days.
Forest I'm reviewing my Google listing account for Tracy and I'm in the edit services sections. Is it necessary to have a ton of different services listed? No, you actually need to take them out because it gets really, really long. I notice my desk Modesto account always has services added that I need to approve or remove. It's a pretty long list. Just wondering if the list of services we offer helps us be found or not. And if I need to add more services to the Tracy account, I would not recommend adding services. I'd keep it to the ones that you want. Yeah, they're gonna organically people can add these services in. It's gonna scrub your site and try to pick up on what it thinks might potentially be services so highly recommend. You just every month or two check these, take them out. They can get to crazy stuff like you'll have all of a sudden you're a general contract and you build houses and you do putting greens like all this concrete and so you don't want to be doing that. How highly recommend you go through and screen those out so you're not wasting traffic on that. Landon from Tallahassee when a client accepts a million quote there's a weekly and bi weekly pricing. How do we know which one to set them up for? So what I'd recommend is inside of your estimate have verbiage of what you're going to start them on for which months? So we always just say we assume weekly and during these months we require weekly and we always just assume weekly service until they tell us otherwise. Then we'll switch it to bi weekly. The reason we want it in one visit like that. So that way when they accept they're accepting both prices. So that down the road if they ever skip a visit and they're weekly, we charge them the bi weekly price and they've accepted both. So highly recommend you have that verbiage in the service description and just automatically always in there for us it's like March through May they are required to do weekly service. 90% of our mowing customers join during that time. They get on weekly and they never switch. And if they do, that's totally fine, but they're going to switch to bi weekly prices. Landon from Tallahassee asks what is the average salary of a GM in the 500 to 800,000 stage? After profit sharing and anything else they Get.
I can't say with accuracy since I haven't had anyone that's in profit mode in this stage of my GMs, I would say in terms of their base salary, you're looking at you know, 50, 60K.
And it's on top of know. And then profit sharing on top of that. I would, I would hope that at a 5 to 800,000 range, they're pulling in at least a hundred thousand in profit. So if they're making 25% of that, you know, they're probably making 75, 80K, at least 90K. But once it hits, you know, profit mode and it's pulling in say 150, 160,000, that becomes like you know, nine, you know, probably 100 grand. But again that's a very hard working GM. If you're running 700, $800,000 business as a working GM, you're doing all the estimates, all the training, all the firing, hiring, marketing, all this stuff like it's a big job but they just, they, they get that. Now if, if someone left after say three or four years and I hired a new GM, I probably would not offer them 25% because they didn't do all the grunt work when they weren't making profit sharing to get the location off the ground. So I'm assuming that someone that might, this might be their third, fourth year, they're starting to do profit mode. I, I think, you know, very, very easily should be able to 100k with profit sharing assuming that they're in profit mode.
Andrew Delta, I've heard you mentioned in the past that there's a discount when adding new users in service output. How do we get the discount? Yep, so I just covered that. Make sure you go to the academy. Inside of the dashboard on the Service all five page, there's an email to make sure they actually get that applied because they've been hit and miss on that.
Matt also has a question. We've been having trouble setting up client portal, having clients add credit cards for auto pay. Do we need it to add our portal registration link into the system? See screenshots of test emails sent to myself. Okay, credit card ask. Here we go.
Do we need to.
Here, one second, let me put.
Do we need to add our portal reg into the system? Sorry, I'm not following that. One second here.
Portal registration link is something that is hard coded into service autopilot. Well I would say Matt, because I don't use BluePay, I don't have any of my. In Canada, you guys use Bluepay and another one I forget. We only can use clearance, so that might be somewhat different. Talk to Max and Burnaby though. He's not too far from you and I know he has it all set up correctly, so ask him. But potentially though is happening if your portal registration link is not working, is it's not connected correctly with your processor like Bluepay, so you might need to contact them and say, hey, everything's everything set up. It's not working. If it's not working, the link itself, the portal registration link should be hard coded. But I know that I've heard this before with people outside of clearance that some they don't. They don't connect it correctly or something like that. So you might have to contact them. But if you wanted to confirm your setup is right before you contact Bluepay or your processor up in Canada, contact Max. That would be my recommendation.
Nick from Marysville. I just secured a line of credit. When would you use a line of credit versus cash? Is it in case of emergency? You have a massive opportunity to capitalize? It's 10% variable, 10 year term. Yep. So I would typically only really use it for massive opportunity or emergency. Just exactly like you said. I wouldn't really want to use it to grow unless I was in hyper growth mode and I was okay with the risk of going to debt. In your case, Nick, I don't think you're like trying to grow massively really fast. You already have the trucks and equipment that are necessary to double the business. And so I'd be looking at this as kind of in case of emergency, someone suing you, something crazy, an accident that's not covered by insurance, something like that. And then if there's a great opportunity and a competitor comes along and willing to sell you clients at 100 bucks a pop because they want to retire, you got some money to tap into.
And they, you know, in case like that you. You don't want to take all your cash reserves, so you use that line of credit. And then the way that you can reconcile it is basically by saying, okay, instead of having to look at this like a $15,000 acquisition, I'm going to look at this as $150 per month in interest until I pay it off. Great, great deal. $150 of interest, $200 in interest for getting, you know, 50, 60 customers. Great, right? You can make it work. Really simple with the math.
So awesome.
All right, guys, hope you have a great rest of your Friday and a great weekend. And we'll see you on Monday. Take care.
