Short internal meeting ("Mike Minutes Mastermind" 06/09/22) where Mike Andes reviews an approach for temporarily stopping new customer estimates by posting a "we're booked" banner and preventing estimate scheduling in the command center. He also reports work on a P4P Handbook & Guide (audio FAQ, tips for efficiency, employee vignettes and procedures) aimed at helping employees beat budget hours and earn more. The session contains practical copy, operational process notes, and efficiency tips for field staff.

Good morning guest nation. Hope you're all doing super well. There were no questions that came in on the form. So I'll just. If there's any questions here though live, feel free to comment right away.
Let's see here. I was going to show you one thing. If someone ever wants no estimate whatsoever because they're just way backed up, we have one location that we just put this banner up. Let me show you what we put share screen. We basically made it where it says at this time we're not taking any new customers and our schedule is filled. We look forward to serving in the future. So really just kind of making it so that in the future when someone does start adding estimates back in that they. There's that scarcity that's created by having hey, like we only are servicing our existing customers, not new customers. Now we're completely, completely booked up. Instead of saying like we are not doing estimates right now. So that is essentially what we're doing is one location. Again, usually if a state of emergency or if you want to just change it, you can just take it where there's not in person estimates. But by doing that you're allowing to have drive by estimates or over the phone estimates as well. So if you want no essence whatsoever because completely overbooked, this is the type of thing we're going to do to be able to prevent that from happening as well as obviously adding that in the command center and load, find them so they do not set up estimates for you. So cool. I really don't have a whole lot of other things to go over. We're working quite a bit on the P4P Handbook and Guide little pocketbook that we're making. And so yesterday I recorded a bunch of audio. The team's putting that together for frequently asked questions that we usually get employees complaining about with P4P in terms of like them working with someone slower. What happens if it rains? What happens if an estimator does wrong budget hours? And then also kind of like tips and tricks to just make more money. Whether that be watching your dis, your video and your notes and looking at your notes the night before. Whether that be getting out of the shop early in the morning. Just all little tips and tricks. You know, keep, keep the weed whacker line in your pocket. We show a diagram of how to weed whack a lawn the most efficient way so you don't have as many stops. And then we also have a blurb from the employees about employees that have actually done PVP and kind of what worked well for them and their thought process to make a lot of money and beat budget hours, et cetera. So. Cool. Well, there's no other questions coming in, so I'm going to call it a day. And it's a short one, but there was no question submitted on the form. Let me triple check that before I leave. Cool. Yeah, there was nothing new in terms of the form, so hope we're all crushing it. If you have any questions, feel free as usual to fill out that form or otherwise. We'll see you tomorrow. Take care.
