A short YouTube announcement by Mike Andes introducing the "Mo for Meds" challenge (April 2020). He asks landscapers and lawn-care professionals to provide free one-time mowing to healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, aiming to mow 20 healthcare professionals' lawns in his local market, and invites others to replicate and share the initiative. He nominates four people to take part and to pass the challenge on.

Hey, everyone, it's Mike Andes, Landscape Business course. And today's a special episode because it's not really a training video at all. It's actually a challenge. And I'm nominating four people to be part of this challenge. The name of the challenge is Mo for Meds. And what this challenge is, is we as landscapers and lawn care professionals, we can do something for the professionals in the healthcare industry that have been pouring themselves out for putting themselves on their health, on the line, and really on the front lines of this whole pandemic. And so what we can do is take off one little small stress out of their life, and that is mowing their lawn. So as we go into spring here, grass is starting to grow, and we want to mow 20 houses of the doctors and nurses in our area. So what I'm challenging you to do, whether or not I'm nominating you or not, is to do this in your local market. Put it on your Facebook, put it on your social media that you're going to mow 20 healthcare professionals, nurses and doctors in your local market, and they can directly message you their address and you're just going to get taken care of for them. One mo, two mo's, as many as you want. But I'm challenging to do 20 healthcare professionals, their lawn care service, their mowing service, one time at least. All right, now, we are doing that in our local market, and I am challenging the following four people. Number one, I am challenging our franchisee and AB Bilgoroy over in New York, Long Island. He's been, you know, that area's been pummeled. He's been super resilient, growing his business. I challenge him to do the Mow for Meds challenge. I also challenge Brian Shane from Top Notch Lawn Care. I also challenge Jonathan Patosnik from City Turf, and I also challenge Keith Kalfis. So all four of you, I expect you guys to be doing the same thing. Mo for Meds. Pass us along. Check. Challenge someone else in your market. This is one small thing we can do as lawn care and landscape professionals to help those on the front lines.
