Our business IQ is so bad, people that aren't even paying us. I mean, we mowed a lot that people didn't even pay us. We were putting in the hours trying to make sure everyone was satisfied. But at the end of the day, we weren't collecting all of our money spiral down.
So today we're in central Illinois visiting Nathan and Brady from luxury lawn care.
Right now, our biggest struggles are running the business. We're the ones who missed the paychecks. We never really caught up last year.
One payroll, one truck going down, and one job going wrong. That's 40 grand. They're going to throw some landmine. Like, that doesn't allow someone like me to help you. It also doesn't allow your accountant to help you. Doesn't allow anyone to help you as well as you're flying blind like you have no idea where you're at in the business. Like, I can't help this business. Okay, let's figure out how this is going to end.
If you can't show up and do the same effort that we're doing, then I don't think you should be part of it anymore.
Don't get into business with someone that in a relationship you know will end and therefore inevitably affect the relationship that you want to keep going on forever.
I think we run a pretty successful business.
Three hundred and ninety thousand dollars in revenue last year. $279 in profit.
We want to go big. Yeah.
When you have two owners in the field, you should be super efficient and super profitable. Even if you don't know your numbers. Have them on a spreadsheet so someone else can look at them and then help you.
