A short YouTube video (Mike Andes, uploaded April 18, 2023) containing a conversational transcript in which a customer discusses lawn weeds overpowering grass and confusion about whether grass needs cutting. The speaker advises that for weed control the customer should contact a company that specializes in weed control, and implies a referral to another provider.
So you're needing weed control?
Well, I don't know. Someone was supposed to tell me what I need, what they recommended. So the grass doesn't need to be cut. It's the weeds that are overpowering the grass.
I understand they're.
Cutting the grass today. That's what's confusing me. Someone was supposed to call me from your company.
If you're needing, you know, weed control to prevent those weeds from growing, you would need to contact a company that help you with the actual weed control.
Some of our locations around North America will only do mowing, but they won't do weeds control or treatments and chemicals on the lawn. However, we want to make sure the customer is taken care of, so we'll refer another company, one of our competitors that does that service for the client. The problem is we're not guaranteed that that other company is going to communicate quickly with the client. And in this case, the customer, a week ago accepted their mowing estimate. We put them on the schedule, but the company we referred them to for weed control never even contacted them back.
