If you have a home service business and you're trying to get more jobs on the schedule, here's a trick that'll make you a lot of money. When you're doing a follow up phone call to estimates you've already sent to customers, don't ask them if they got the quote, don't ask them if they have questions. Don't make it about the quote, make it about the scheduling of the job. So instead of asking if they have questions or if they want clarifications or about the price and the estimate, simply tell them that hey, I'm giving you a call to be able to get you on the schedule. And make sure that I schedule the walkthrough of the project once it's done.
