Skid Steer, Bush Trim, Hello World | MikeMinute001

Mike Andes launches a weekly landscaping vlog for his business, Augusta Lawn Care Services. Episodes run 5-10 minutes with half creative drone footage, half business advice, plus promotion of his landscape business course.
What's up YouTube? Welcome to the first vlog.
All right, so we just pulled back into the shop and we're going to pull back into the dump area. All the waste back here behind the green shed in that area. We got back up into there though. So let's turn around.
Right now looking at the dump truck, see if it's something we're interested in getting right now. Big 16 foot box and it's a sterling 1999. I'll take you inside here. Has air brakes and all that good stuff. So just seeing if take it out for a test drive right now.
Unique thing about us is we've got to have it heavy enough and sturdy enough to where it can take gravel. But then also.
It has to be non CDL, so under £26,000 in Washington state for it to work. This one's nice though because it has the air brakes and nice powerful dump system on it. Alright. So right now I'm with at one of the clients properties that we service for Augusta Lawn Care Services. It's actually an apartment complex. You can see here there's a whole bunch of units going through here, more units. So we service all their landscaping and all that good stuff. And so right now I'm just checking up on the maintenance and so this is some, some of the behind the scenes kind of stuff that you're going to see from the vlog here. And so I'm just going into the maintenance shed and gotta fix some things in the landscaping today. So this is kind of the stuff you're gonna see behind the scenes and what it really is all about owning a business. You're gonna see a small business owner hacking time trying to figure out how to do podcasting, how to do consulting, how to run a landscaping business. That's a real business service business, how to do everything I do. And, and it's interesting because I think in 5, 10, 15 years it'll be fun to watch this whole journey, how it all happened. And so I hope everyone gets some content value out of this. Hey. So I want to just kind of lay the rules and what I'm going to be doing here on the vlog every week you can expect me to be uploading a video, try to get it up there Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Early in the week. What I'll be doing is I will be filming some creative shots of what we do throughout the week with landscape business. Course I'm going to be focusing on our landscaping business. So Augusta Lawn Care Services and I might kind of depending on who Joins who subscribes. I'll see if I start putting some stuff from Business Boot Camp podcast and some of the other stuff I do with consulting and things. And so it's gonna be a lot of fun. Every single week, I'll load up something that'll be five to ten minutes long. Half of it will be creative, so it'll be just more entertainment. I'll be getting a drone here in the spring once the weather gets a little nicer, and doing some cool shots of some of the jobs that we're at. And then 50% of the content will be informational. So I'll be talking about how to run a landscaping business, how to do a lot of the stuff that I do with the podcast, and just kind of walking through a lot of what I do. A lot of you have been asking for this, and obviously part of this, too is to promote landscape business course. And so landscapebusinesscourse.com is where landscapers can start and grow their businesses and get a lot of the business advice that you would get from my MBA or any sort of formal education. I want to give that to landscapers. So a lot of this vlog right now is going to be about landscaping. Especially for the next year. Every single week, I'll be posting up a vlog. A lot of it will be landscaping. Some of it will be, like I said, it has to do with who subscribes and who is kind of the driving force behind the listenership on this vlog, if it's people from the podcast, if it's people from the course. And so I know it'll be good content. I'll make it as creative as possible. And I'll try to offer value from a business standpoint as well on things like marketing, on things like hiring people, all that good stuff. So stay tuned, make sure you subscribe every week. I'll be coming at you. I promise to keep it fun, informative, creative, and you might even get entertained once in a while, once I get a drone and we get a little creative. So it's also an outlet for me, too. I enjoy creating videos, creating content. I used to actually paint. And so I'm an artist at heart, something I don't do very much of, but I do love. And so part of it too, is allowing me to make an outlet into that area. Podcasting is fun, but. And I had a great experience with that and big audience now. But, like, this will be fun because I'll be able to kind of channel some of those artistic abilities and tendencies and so I look forward to it. I know I'll learn a lot about videoing and what you guys like and so make sure you comment what you want to see in the vlog, what part of what I do, landscaping, podcasting, consulting, educational stuff that I do, speaking like, whatever you want to see, Let me know in the comments and make sure you subscribe.
