7Am at the shop. Looks like it's just gonna be a huge day for landscape materials. Got more snow yesterday and more last night. Now time to go get some salt and start some snow plow.
Hi, it's Mike from over at Augusta Lawn Care. I just wanted to take a couple minutes to sort of introduce the company to you. I think what makes Augusta so unique, if I could really pare it down to one thing, because, you know, anyone could technically mow a lawn or pull weeds or trim trees, snow plow, things like that. I think if there's one thing that made Augusta really unique is our communication again. I'm Mike Andes with Augusta Lawn Care Services, and we really look forward to doing business with you. Saturday morning, I'm just heading to our local.
Auto auction.
It's in Bellingham here. And so there's a couple trucks I'm interested in. One for an estimate truck, another small isusa dump truck, which would work great for small loads for landscaping jobs. And then also it has a dump. Lots of clippings can go in there and then just be dumped at the end of the day instead of having to be manually taken out of the truck. So let's see how it go.
55. Just in time. 57 and a half.
Back to you.
55 to 57 and a half. 55 and 7 and a half. 7 and a half. 7 and A half.
55.
He told him no. 55 and 57 and a half. 55 to 7 and a half. I think maybe he was absy. 55 to 57 and a half. 55 and 7 and a half.
That is the float house.
Yeah. Come on in, brother. This is our lounge. We've got tea and water. Just a place to chill out after you're done floating. But if you check out those bags of Epsom.
Oh, it's Epsom, okay.
Yep. Epsom salt, magnesium sulfate. And there's 20 bags in every tank, so I think that's 13 bags right there. Just to kind of give you a visual on how much salt £1,000 looks like. Wow.
We have five tanks and five private rooms. Watch your step coming in. And this is a boat tank, so it's deceptive. The bottom's painted black. It's only 11 inches deep. This is essentially underneath the tank at the bottom there. And this is your private room. You've got your tank. You've got your shower right here. Place to change. I think maybe the most important thing to know is you control the environment so you totally don't have to shut the lid. It's up to you. You can leave it open. And what also is very popular is I can turn the entire tub into a speaker that you float in and you can listen to some chilled out music over here. Here we go.
It's going to be epic.
And.
Human coffin it looks like.
Is it reverse thread? No, no, it's the right way.
Sure.
It'd probably.
Sam.
So it's Saturday morning. I'm headed out. I have 12, 12 commercial estimates that I'm doing today. 12 commercial maintenance contracts that we are going for. And they asked for estimates on 12 and I realized how little bit of content I had for this week's vlog because.
It snowed like this whole week here and it's kind of all melting off now. Last 24, 48 hours, I realized how little stuff I have for the vlog. So just been a lot of phone calls, past few days, meetings last up with the podcast just on the phone. That's kind of boring for you guys to listen to. So though it looks like March 1st is when we're starting our mowing season. Once the snow gets out of the way and then things warm up. So it looks like March 1st and then kick things into high gear, hopefully make the vlog a little more interesting, a little more creative. And so I'll see. I might throw with put one of these estimates together with you guys. Just as far as how I look at these commercial estimates and how we use our commercial estimate form to really give a full service package to the property management companies for everything from gutter to their pressure washing to mowing, really just doing a full service package and they can kind of decide what they want. So stick around for the ride and we'll see how the Saturday turns out.
