Have you ever seen those banners that say what you would have today if you would have invested $1,000 in Amazon stock 10 years ago? Well, I wonder what would it be if you would have invested $1,000 in a small business 10 years ago? Sometimes we look at these publicly traded companies like Tesla or Apple and we think, oh, if I can just invest in the stock market and choose the right stock, you can actually take a thousand dollars and invest into a small business, a side hustle, a home improvement business like cleaning windows or mowing grass, doing something really simple around a house like cleaning out gutters. And literally you could take that thousand dollars and turn to a business that generates well over a hundred thousand dollars in annual profit for you and your family. That's a hundred x return every single year. I don't think there's very many stocks that can do that. So got to think, what is a small business? The return on a small business is some of the greatest returns you can have in America.
