Mike Andes says lawn-care businesses that answer their phones beat 80 to 90 percent of competitors. Most companies let calls go to voicemail, so picking up gives you an edge with customers who want fast service.
Next on our list, we have Nature Cuts, Inc.
Thank you for calling Nature Cuts. We are currently on our holiday.
Lawn Masters Lawn Care.
Hi, you've reached Lawn Master Lawn Care.
Next. We have reliable lawn maintenance. We'll see about that. We'll see.
Your call has been forwarded to an automatic voice message system.
A lot of people were saying that we shouldn't be making these phone calls because Augusta Lawn Care has an unfair advantage of having every single phone call answered from a calling service or two, that we should just leave voicemail. And I agree. Both of those premises. The point I'm trying to make with these videos is that if you just answer your phone, you're probably ahead of the pack, 80, 90% of your competition and are going to get a lot of customers that need service and don't want five people texting them back or 10 different estimates to be able to get their service set up. They just want to get someone to answer the phone and get service set up as quickly as possible.
