Short excerpt from a YouTube video ("They Said Our Business Seems SHADY") showing a conversation between Mike Andes and another speaker. The speakers discuss a customer requesting someone to come by to perform services (example: mowing) and scheduling timing (hoping for this week vs today). The exchange highlights a service request and scheduling tension.
Okay, so you're hoping for someone to come by this week and take a look and get you those services and.
No, I'm.
Looking for someone to come mow my yard today.
This customer was mad because our storage facility, where we keep all of our equipment, was less than a mile away from their house. Yet we said they were out of our service area and we couldn't service their property. The reason for that is because a lot of times we have to have our storage facility on the suburbs and outskirts of a city, so that way our rent is cheaper and we can actually afford to be able to operate. There's also usually less crime and a lot more space for us to operate out of and have all of our debris on site. Well, then travel usually 3, 4, 5 miles into downtown or where the heart of our service area is. Have a really good dense route.
