A short product/demo video by Mike Andes (founder & CEO of Copilot CRM) describing Copilot CRM’s live device-tracking feature. The system can track company-provided devices or employees’ personal phones while they are clocked in, showing live locations of trucks and crew on a map via cellular data (LTE/4G/5G). Andes emphasizes real-time visibility, faster dispatching, cost savings versus per-truck hardware, and improved routing/efficiency for businesses with multiple vehicles and crews.

Hey everyone, it's Mike Andes, founder and CEO of Copilot CRM. And I'm going to talk to you about one of my favorite features. Very simple, very powerful inside of Copilot. And that is the fact that you're able to track your trucks. So whether you give a device to your employees or they use their own personal cell phone, we have live tracking on a map of all of those devices. So some, some team members, you like to give them an actual phone from the company that has a SIM card inside, you can do to have tracking on that or you can also have your team members bring phone to work. So regardless, as long as they're clocked in on their app, you can track that device and it's live on the map. What I hated in the past is I had to deal with one of two things. Either one, I had to deal with a map that got updated every 15 or 30 minutes. And who knows where they are at in 15 or 30 minutes. Like, I just never could trust the map because 15 or 20 minutes go by and everything can change inside your business when you have a whole bunch of trucks out in the road. Or the second option was I would literally spend hundreds of dollars every year on every single truck and, and get one of those things plugged into the truck. And they were great, gave me lots of information and things, but really I just needed to see where the trucks were at all day long when their guys were out using them throughout the day. And so what this allows you to be able to do is on a map, see all of your trucks and employees moving throughout the day in live time. And as long as they have an Internet connection via LTE or 4G or 5G, they'll be able to be live tracked. Now, if they go through a spot, a spotty service or something like that, yes, it would drop out for a couple seconds. But it's live. Every single time you look at that map, you can see where they're at. And it's so important because if something breaks down, you, oh, just around the corner there's another truck or I know exactly where they're at when they call me on the side of the road and they're, you know, something just blew up and they need help right away. I know exactly where that. Cause it's on the map and it's live. So this will save you a lot of time and money both from either a having to track, get trackers. Every single truck is expensive as well as it'll actually give you live data all day long on every single device, every employee, and every single truck, and make sure you're running it very, very efficiently. If you have a lot of trucks, if you have multiple crews running throughout the day, having someone at the dispatch board, we usually have one screen at the dispatch board and one screen at the map. So anytime an employee calls in, we immediately look at the map. We know exactly where they're at, we look at the dispatch board, we have all the information we need about where they're at on the route, we which customers they're about to hit. And it's absolutely the most efficient route routing and system we've ever used for dispatching, as well as tracking your team members.
