This YouTube testimonial features Blake and Sarah Moore of Moore's Mine (a lawn/landscape business) describing how relocating, adopting the Copilot CRM, and following advice from Mike Andes drove rapid growth in 2024. Key claims: revenue rose from about $216,000 (pre-Copilot) to about $335,000 in 2024; monthly revenue approached $30,000 by year-end; profit rose from about $20,000 in 2023 to about $70,000 in 2024. They credit Copilot metrics (budgeted hours, KPIs, close ratio monitoring) and Mike Andes' advice (notably to raise prices and hire when metrics indicate capacity) for enabling scale, reduced stress, and family flexibility. They state they're pursuing further expansion (another crew/truck and a $500,000 revenue target).

Hi, I'm blake.
I'm sarah.
I'm elise.
We're the moores, and together we run moore's mine.
So, quick backstory on Mora's mowing. Not back to the very beginning, but to what's led us to all of the changes in 2024. Probably go back to around the COVID time. We really. Our world kind of got turned upside down to a lot of personal circumstances that were intense and we needed a fresh start. And my wife and I talked and prayed and thought a lot, and we always wanted. Kind of had the dream that we honestly never thought we would seize of moving and getting close to the beach and retiring here. And we decided if we're going to do a fresh start, we're not going to wait till we retire. Let's just go start the company over from ground zero there and go for it. And so we did. And this is our third full season here in Florida. So at our best point, prior to using copilot, we were at around 216,000 annually in sales, averaging 10 to 13,000amonth from year one to year two, I think. And then 2024, since adopting Copilot and lots of advice from Mike Andes, we closed the year at around 335,000, averaging pretty close to 30,000amonth by the end of the year. And needless to say, the growth God has blessed us with since moving and adopting copilot is our CRM. We've just been absolutely blessed and absolutely floored. There's so much of it that we would not have been able to do, and I really mean that. I don't think that we would be where we are today if it weren't for Mike Andes and copilot, per.
The advice we heard from Mike time and time again. Raise your prices. Just make the next step. Find the prime mover that's moving your business forward and focus on that. I don't think I would have had the courage or the knowledge to be able to go for it, to go beyond just being a solo operation, hiring occasional help to actually adding the second crew truck with the second crew and trusting employees to be able to go out and do the work. I want to say we were about 20,000 in profit on 2023 to thanks to the metrics copilot gives us the insight to on budgeted hours, knowing when we needed to hire again, and just taking that advice and going for it to raise prices when we were at capacity. We closed 2024 with about $70,000 in profit. We were just absolutely Floored with. And we're ambitious to go into 20, 25, adding another truck and another crew and shooting for 500,000. The metrics that Copilot gives us the insight into just knowing what the metrics are, period, that we need to be focusing on the KPIs and having quick access to those. Knowing what our close ratio is. Being able to keep our close ratio right around 50 to 60% has kind of been the sweet spot at the speed of growth that we wanted to maintain without being overworked and understaffed. Keeping it right around 50 to 60%, keeping our pricing right where we wanted it, knowing when we were at capacity and being able to know it was time to raise prices, have the courage to do it. Backed by Mike Andy's advice time and time again. Like you do it when the numbers are say that you need to and then you go for it. Being able to pull that trigger, we never would have seen $70,000 in profit this year. It absolutely blew my mind.
We really needed a fresh start. And the business doing well with the help of Copilot has given us the chance to do that in the way that we really needed to. Having the freedom to relocate, to take care of our family and each other and mental health and physical health, it's been paramount for us. It's something that we really needed.
Yeah. Because day to day life, you know, everybody has their battles, everybody has their story, you know, ours, you know, not to get too explicit about it, but like there are chronic health, daily struggles and the environment, the past that we came out of, it led to honestly, some way too much stress if you want to keep it light. But some PTSD like stuff. And it's very important for us to have the opportunity to spend as much time together as a family as possible. To homeschool our daughter and not miss her growing up.
We've taken some pretty big leaps in our career. And one of those being relocating, you know, changing states. One of those being starting a business in the initial phases. One of those was taking on Copilot as our CRM. Not knowing how well that was going to work out, how difficult it might be to integrate into our existing system. Needless to say, it's been super beneficial and we're extremely happy with it. There have been some growing pains getting us to the place that we are now for sure.
Definitely it's not without. All the business owners know it's not without it. Sleepless nights when a key employee quits. Spur of the moment and everything is going wrong. You know it's been stressful and difficult, but I think that's. I mean, kind of the point here is that's been one of the amazing things about working with copilot. And just.
A little cliche, maybe, but kind of like following Mike Andes is like a leader. Like the. The advice and the. That he gives so freely and how that's probably my number one perk for copilot is it's like direct access to Mike Andes with the copilot masterminds once a week and just the ability to ask him questions and hear everyone else's questions. You know, we're not part of Augusta nation, but it does feel like you're part of a pretty great community kind of pursuing the same thing. Being able to ask other people for help, that's kind of something we really needed more than I would have thought, joining a CRM, but that's not something we've ever seen with any other CRM. Yeah. So the growing pains have been there, but it's also been encouraging to.
Be able to overcome those.
Seeing that the way has been paved. Like other people have had the same difficulties, the same challenges, and they can be overcome. We definitely would just give a huge shout out to Mike Andes and a big thanks to him and the copilot team because they really have played a big part in our life in helping us get to where we are, and we're very thankful, thankful for this opportunity.
