WEEK IN THE LIFE - Gym Reno, Farmers Market, Charcuterie Game Night

The vlog follows Brianna and Mike Andes through a packed weekend. It opens with a Saturday morning gym routine, where they discuss energy drinks, respond to negative comments about Mike's shirts, and outline their MacroFactor full‑body workout and high‑carb “high day” nutrition plan. The segment then shifts to Mike’s book‑shipping operation, detailing how free copies of his titles are distributed via course completion, QR‑coded inserts, and a Shopify storefront. Brianna heads to Costco for a speed‑run bulk shop, sharing her weekly meal plan (tacos, pork chops, Greek bowls, keto jambalaya) and noting the logistics of shipping a car to Texas. They tour an Anytime Fitness gym undergoing a remodel, highlighting bathroom tiling issues, new pegboards, and locker upgrades. Next, they visit a nearby farmers/ vendor market, discover “donut peaches,” and discuss potential recipes. The duo tries pickleball for the first time, providing playful commentary on the game. Finally, they prepare for a church‑hosted charcuterie board competition, showing the purchase of large boards, utensils, challenges (trivia, non‑dominant‑hand), and the fun atmosphere with funky socks and rapid board exchanges. Throughout, the vlog blends casual conversation, product mentions, and behind‑the‑scenes insights into their lifestyle and entrepreneurial activities.
Chapters
It is ad break. 6— we just started. It is 6:30 AM and we are about to head to the gym to get a lift in on a Saturday morning. The weekends are my favorite just because we have our Saturday routine down to a T. What is your energy drink of choice this morning?
You caught me orange-handed.
Orange-handed. Orange Jocko.
Yeah.
Let me see what I'm gonna pick. This is a luxury, let me tell you guys. This is like the best feature, also a dopamine hit in my morning, just coming in here picking whatever energy drink Today we're picking Cotton Candy Alani.
All right, so this week a school started running ads against my school community. So we took some of our videos quickly, I made them, and media team threw up some ads on our channel, like on my Facebook and Instagram. So this morning I was going through my negative comments. One of the comments was, "Stop wearing shirts from middle school." And I'm like, they have a point. What? I haven't changed my size since middle school.
They're normal solid colored shirts. What are they talking about?
Oh, you know, it's just the fact that they have to keep upgrading their shirts every year to bigger sizes. I was alternating between like, you know, be funny and absorb it. By saying, probably right. Or going the route of, you know, you've changed every year since middle school. But I wouldn't say anything.
I would say you're being the bigger person here, but actually—
I should have clicked on their profile actually and seen what they looked like.
I don't know if I should put this in the vlog. Usually whenever there's a hater, all you need to do is— anyways, what are you hitting today?
I'm doing full body because I'm on MacroFactor and I am now full body exercise instead of splits.
MacroFactor used to just be the calorie, like, macro tracking app, and then they came out with their own, like, workout app where they make you like tailored workout programs. You can pick what muscle groups you wanna focus on, which is really cool. Not sponsored, but it could be. And they offer that for free for all Macro Factor members for now, right? Or do they start charging?
Free. That's my internal bath. Gotta drink one full one, then you can have a Jaco.
I am hitting legs, specifically like targeting glutes and hamstrings. And I'm taking meal number 2. For today, today is a high day. Saturdays and Wednesdays are my high days. High days meaning high carb days that my coach is having me do. And I think we're going to start our reverse diet next week. I didn't get as like shredded and lean as I wanted in the amount of time, but I'm also ready to grow muscle and then we'll cut back again eventually.
Grow muscle? Did you say grow muscle? I heard my name.
Okay, let's go work out. Calves are easily like my favorite leg muscle to train. So we're starting with some standing calf raises. To be honest, we don't usually come to this Anytime Fitness location, so I'm not as familiar with the equipment. So I'm just gonna play around with some weights, see how it feels. I've actually never used— what even brand is this? Is this Precor? No, Matrix standing calf raise machine. But I played around with it with no weight and And that's actually pretty nice. It feels good. That's spicy. Once I do my weighted raises, I like to just do like 12 to 15 body weight just to, you know, pack a little more punch in there. Oh my goodness. Okay, we're going to add some tens. How would you rate that workout on a scale of 1 to 10? It's not on.
492.
492. Good morning guys and happy Monday! I'm currently in the book room at the Augusta office right now. Last Black Friday, Mike Andes did a whole live stream and the gist of it was he had just released his book Please hold. He had just released the Copy and Paste Millionaire book. He wanted to give away 100,000 books for free. I think I started shipping things out in January or December. There's still some orders like slowly trickling in. We have an option to where people can either finish one of Mike's course to get the book shipped to them for free, or another option is to just pay for shipping and we'll send you the book for free. And then also through— I think it's called like the Mike Andes Bookshelf or something— there's like a bookshelf on YouTube you can purchase like a whole Mike Andes collection, which is like all 4 of his books, or just like an individual one of these, or just multiple of his other ones. So, oh, okay, we have a few Shopify ones. Review address issues. Oh no, I'll have to figure that out at the post office, I guess. Um, I'm gonna knock these out real quick. I have like only 6 orders. I usually come in here to do them like once or twice a week just because it is a very slow trickle. But let's get these taken care of before my laptop dies because my battery is running low. 8%. Oh, When I first started shipping these books out, I went to Office Depot and the design team designed these amazing— this amazing sheet with QR codes where you can access, um, the free audiobook, full online course, and then a QR code to leave an Amazon review. So this is included in every single front cover of the books that I ship out. Just finished up at the office and I'm headed to Costco. I almost always try to go before 10 AM because if you have the executive membership you can go at 9 and then everyone else is allowed to go in at 10. I try my absolute best to never go past 10 because it gets so busy. So it's 9:30 right now. I'm gonna try to speedrun it, at least get in there there before the 10 AM crowd hits and get out of there as fast as possible. I usually do a Costco run like once a week, maybe once every other week, um, but there are just some staples that I need to grab from there. Recently I've been planning all the meals that I want to make for the week on like Saturday or Sunday, and then Monday and sometimes Tuesday are like my grocery shopping days, just so I don't have to like go to the grocery store like almost every single day for whatever I need for dinner. So for this week I think I'm planning on making. Tonight will probably be tacos. Tomorrow might be like pork chops with chimichurri and smashed Parmesan carrots. Maybe a Greek bowl, like Greek chicken bowl for later in the week. And then like a keto jambalaya. I've never made those last two before. I honestly don't think I'll film in Costco because it is very chaotic. Usually everyone loses their sense of direction in Costco for some reason, so I don't want to be one of those people while also trying to film. Another perk of having a Costco membership is their gas prices. So I only had like 2 bars left. I was on like low gas mode, whatever. So we'll see how much this costs. I just realized I can talk about the Texas trip now. I've been like trying to catch myself every time I film. We are shipping this car down to Texas so we at least have like one of us has our car there. I'm so happy about that. I love my car, man. It's like just a cute little Honda, like, town car, um, and it has decent mileage. I just filled up for $45 for 10 gallons, but we are in the state of Washington, so all you Easterners will probably still think that's insane. I love this thing, and I'm just very thankful that we can ship it. Also, another upside to shipping my car is that we can have some of our personal items in here. They obviously limit you. They say like nothing above the windows, like you can't fill your car up that much. We're gonna be packing Mike's walking pad for him to have whenever he works from home, um, and just like clothes and other like essentials that we'll need. I'm just so thankful that I'll have my car there with me. From the time I got out of my car to the time I was heading to the checkout, it was like 15 minutes, and I have to say that's probably a record. And I was walking out at literally 10 AM. Speedrun haul: Alanis, onions, 2 bags of wild chips, because it's Mike's favorite. Cucumbers, strawberries, Catalina Crunch, spinach because balance, peanut butter, bell peppers, and cherry tomatoes. Mostly veggies this trip. Same way as everyone inside of Costco hardly has any spatial awareness, everyone driving in and out of the Costco parking lot has like no spatial awareness. I do like all of my, all of my bulk shopping here, and then I'll go to like other stores to just get like little things. Like for example, on my shopping list for this week, I need 1 shallot. And actually, I don't even know if Costco sells shallots, but if they did, I'd be getting like 50, and I don't need 50, I need 1. Good morning, you beautiful people! I am in a little bit of a rush this morning. I'm currently headed to our gym, our Anytime Fitness location. It is pretty much done being remodeled, like the main floor area is done, but the bathrooms— there was a situation. Basically, the company that we hired to do the renovation, they subcontracted out some of the work and that included the tiling in the bathroom. Well, the initial— the first people they hired to do it did not really a good job and they had to completely gut it, like completely take it out and redo it. Um, so it's just been a matter of the company finding a new subcontractor to take that project over. So the bathroom Things have been taking a little bit longer than we had anticipated, but that's okay. The gym is still like functioning. I actually think there's one bathroom available, so it's not that bad. Um, just the showers are not working because the showers is like actually what got redone, and then the tile— anyways, anyways, anyways, not to get too in the weeds about that. Um, but I'm going to the gym to film for some social media with the manager Gabe there, which I have not done in weeks just because the remodel. So I want to do a couple reels just like showcasing the remodel and then also just a couple fun silly goofy ones that we usually do. So I'm just trying to make it there in time before he has a couple appointments that'll take up his time. And then there is a fun little mini farmers market— I don't know if you want to call it farmers market, but like a vendor's market— about 20 minutes away from us that I really want to go check out. And it only happens every Thursday from 11 to 2, so like 3 hours a week. And oh, why are you backing up? Okay. Alright, so I want to try to make it there in time as well. It's gonna be a fun Thursday, so come along. Alright, I better, I better pay attention to driving. Alright, let's check it out. I already see— oh my goodness, oh, it looks so good! Wow, this is my first time seeing it.
Super nice. Um, paint job is completely different.
We got the pegboard up to the rest of the floor, and more importantly, this is elevated. This is actually the highest point in the entire floor, so it goes straight to the corner and then like drains through there.
Wow, amazing tile work that needs to be redone.
So yeah, exactly.
Are they going to redo this?
Um, I think the tile work guys that were like checking came out, they were like, 'I would redo this.' Okay.
All right, here's a more in-depth video on it. We have the locker room situation here, which like I said in our previous video, it used to be just like this wide, but we got it extended all the way out, took out one of the rooms that were here. Now there's a pegboard and a lot more lockers. The trainer room got redone as well, so that the paint looks so much better. There used to be like green and orange colors Now we have like different signage on the wall, just like the purple and grays look so much better. I am so stoked this is redone. Again, the bathrooms are a work in progress. I don't think this one really got touched besides the repaint. And then as you just heard, bathrooms are closed for retiling because the showers are all screwed up. It is looking so good and I'm so glad we got this redone. You guys, I came home quickly because I wanted to change before heading to that little market that I told you all about, but I got a very exciting package. Yes, yes, yes! I'm so excited right now. So around this time, like last year, I bought Mike these shoes from On Cloud. They're like really nice white high tops. I'm not a huge like sneakerhead. I actually just have like the same 2 or 3 shoes I wear, but I've been wanting to get some high tops of some sort. I just love the way high tops look on me, and they had that exact exact same shoe except like the women's, uh, on sale, like pretty heavily discounted compared to the normal price. So I got them myself. Oh my goodness, they look so good! Before I show you, I need to talk. I wasn't like seeking out to match him, but whenever I saw they were on sale, I was like, I love those shoes and it would be perfect that we can match because look at them. Like, you might just think this is your basic white sneaker, but I like— this just makes me so happy. Oh my word, they look So good. Perfect, because I can break them in while I walk around the little market. Wow. Okay, well, I can't really put my foot in the shoe if that's in there now, can I? Oh, okay. Wow, the ankle is thick. I don't know, maybe I'm also just not used to wearing high tops at all. I like them from the sides. From the— okay, from the top angle, they look like huge. Let me show you guys. Like, you see how thick this looks, how wide. I need to go see them in the mirror. Wow, they're like so stiff. I'm glad I got them in now so I can break them in. Oh, they're cute. That's actually really cute. I actually think it's the skirt I'm wearing them with. So I just recently got this skirt actually, and I sized down from what my normal size is. I lost 15 lbs with my coach, okay, that's a sidebar. So now I'm like trying to get clothes that actually fit me, and I sized down with this skirt, but I should have gone a size smaller. I love these shoes so much. I'm so glad I got them. They're so much more enjoyable to wear whenever you know you got them on sale, because then if someone compliments my shoes— not saying they should, but if they do— then I can be like, thanks, I got them on sale, you know what I'm saying? All right, let's go to the market. You know what, before we go to the market, I want to show you something else. So this Saturday— today's Thursday, so in 2 days from now— we are having some people from our church over for a fun little game night. And I went to Trader Joe's, hence these flowers right here, to get some of the supplies for it. Basically what we're gonna do is a charcuterie board competition, and it's gonna be so much fun. We're buying a ton of charcuterie board things, like the flowers are just filler, like decoration for the layout. I'm gonna have like tons of different crackers, meats, cheeses. Oh, I forgot to get jam earlier. I'm adding that to the list. Glad I'm talking about this so I remember. Okay, meats, cheeses, jams, crackers, like a little bit of bread, fruit, nuts, like everything you would have on a charcuterie board. As of now, I think there's gonna be like 6 different teams, but I ordered 7 boards off Amazon just in case. Hopefully that's what is in here because I wanted to get here as soon as possible just because I want to be prepared. And oh yeah, okay, perfect. So the boards came in, sweet. I just got 2 sets of mille-tons. It's like 8 total, I think. Okay, I'm super happy with the size because honestly I was having a hard time finding a certain amount of bigger boards. Like, this is like 18 by 12, and I wanted them to have a big enough board to work on to also fill the time limit that we have set for them, which is 15 minutes. But there's challenges thrown in there. So for example, the first challenge that I think we're gonna throw in like 2 minutes in is basically like everyone has to stop putting together their charcuterie board and they have to answer trivia questions in order to earn time to come grab more ingredients and go back to their board while everyone else is is paused. So it's basically like a little head start if you get the questions right. And then the next challenge is gonna be like probably 5 minutes in, and they have to like put their dominant hand behind their back and only work with their non-dominant hand. Okay, cute. This is a charcuterie board set. Should definitely like wash all these first. And then like little spoon, little flags to label things with, cheese spreader or something of the like, tong situation, little thingy. Another little thingy. I don't really know what that's for. And then like honey things. I'm great at explaining all this. Oh cute! Oh my goodness, cute! These are like mini ramekins they can use. That is so cute. Wow, I didn't know they'd be that small, but that's like perfect. There's also like 2 other challenges in the mix, but maybe I'll tell you about it later. Okay, basically like the same set of what I just showed you because I got two of them. Like 100 bamboo food forks to grab cheeses and things with. And then what is this one? Oh, I think this is the meal prep containers that I got. Like also takeaways because we're gonna have so much food left over, like so many charcuterie items. We're not gonna be able to— me and Mike are not gonna be able to eat ourselves. So I just got a lot of takeaway containers, like just a lot more of these so they can pack it full of food and take home with them. Unfortunately, this is a smaller size than I had anticipated, but that's okay. Yeah, a bunch of these along with the lids. So definitely gonna be spending the rest of this evening and then tomorrow just getting everything ready and setting up for it. I now have made a mess but I want to leave. So this is a problem for later. Uh, let's go to the market. Okay, I had to park kind of far away. It really is not a walk at all, but comparatively, um, because there are so many people here, like way more than I had expected. So I'm parked in this apartment complex. Hopefully that's okay. This is the only like second week that they have it on, and it's only from like July to I think mid-August or September. We have our normal farmers market in Bellingham that's like every Saturday for like 8 months of the year, I think. This one is just like a lot more like smaller businesses, maybe not as much produce.
I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know why I'm really explaining it to y'all because I don't even know myself. I've never been here before.
How's it going?
Good, how are you?
Donut peaches, they're very similar to a regular peach.
I think they're slightly sweeter though.
I've never heard of a donut peach before. That is so cool. I'm thinking about making like a dessert with them, like a cobbler.
Okay, I've heard donut peaches go really well with cobbler.
Okay, you know what, just cuz I've never tried it, I'll go with the donut peaches.
Sure.
Okay, thank you so much.
Pretty funny, right?
They are. I've never seen anything like I've never had this before. A donut peach?
One of our fellow bartenders, one of the team staff down there, he took donut peaches with blueberries to make coffee with.
Okay, that's a— you should go ask him how it turned out. Yeah, that's a really good idea. He must have done that last week, huh?
He did, he did.
I have blueberries at home, so I should definitely try that.
Do you need a receipt for this?
Uh, no, I'm okay.
You're all set.
Thank you so much. You have a wonderful day. You as well. You would think after a year of vlogging that I'd be used to vlogging in public by now, but that is certainly not the case.
I still feel so so weird.
Even though this, this camera that I use is very little and you can actually be pretty discreet with it, I don't want to make anyone feel weird or nervous, and I don't want to like film them and make them feel awkward. It was such a cute market, like super tiny, probably. I think they say like 30 vendors tops, but it didn't even look like 30 vendors in my opinion. But it was super cute. There was like this really cool smoothie spot, and I wanted to get something for Mike, but they didn't have like anything healthy sounding. It was a lot of like dessert-esque smoothies. Maybe whenever they come out with the green smoothie, I'll get it for him next time. There were just like a couple produce stands. There was like a honey stand, like they were selling like obviously legit honey, and then like honeycomb and honey sticks and whatever. Candles, and then like live music. It's just super cute and super small. The only thing I got though, which is such a cool find, I have never heard of Donut peaches. Like, look at this. I got 3 of them because I want to make my keto peach cobbler with them. Please let me know in the comments if you've ever heard of donut peaches. I never have, and I feel like I just unlocked a new kind of produce. While I'm in the area, I have a coupon for a free car wash. I took my car in, I got my shock absorbers replaced at this local mechanic shop, and they gave me a free car wash at this location that's like right around the corner. So I'm gonna get my car washed because She definitely needs it. Thank you to that automotive place. After I gave them about almost $1,000, I get a free car wash out of it. Girl math. Have you ever played pickleball before?
I've never played pickleball before.
What are we about to do?
We're gonna play pickleball.
Let's get it. I have never seen a pickleball place in a building this cool.
You would never look at this and be like, oh yeah, pickleball court.
Yeah, exactly.
That's what that should be.
Here we go.
All right, here you go. All right, folks, so trying not to be here too much here. You know, it's already been 2 games of 10-1, 11-0, so got to play it nice and easy. Oh, that's a little spinny. Ah! All right, folks, and it's up and away. Brianna takes the court off the left side. Michael returns it back down the center. Oh, what a spike by Brianna!
Oh, oh, play it, play it, play it!
That's right, thank you. Wrong court, man. See, I tried to give man 5 points to start at 0-5, but she said that was pokey pokey, so had to humble her, you know. She said I was too proud, so that's really what happened, folks, is it is now— is that 11-0? Oh, 10-0. Game, set, match. Starting off strong, be like, nope, I don't need a 5-point lead, but nope, got herself a serve. Even a blind squirrel gets a nut occasionally. You will always be Holy! You know, we got to keep Banna humble. Banna is so good at so many things. You got to keep her humble sometimes, you know? So I take her to the pickleball court.
Holy!
Sick!
We don't need to talk about how many games we played or what the score of those games were. All you need to know is we had a good time and everyone's a winner around here. That's right. That's right. Came to Dollar Tree to get like the last few things we needed for the party, and Mike randomly decides to get everyone to wear funky socks. We're just gonna hand these out as they walk through the door.
So we're gonna wear the Monopoly ones, and then each team will have a different candy socks they have to wear. All right, vlog, the guests are soon to arrive in 5 minutes, but I have to show you all of Banna's hard work here. She's been crushing it, and we haven't even got all the meats and cheeses out yet. Check all this out, this is crazy.
Disperse everything. You know, we're not being very environmental friendly because I use so much plastic wrap to like repackage some stuff.
We're gonna have to send them all away with so much food. So then this is what's happening. We got stations over here and gloves, another station. Oh yeah, yeah, I gotta show them. You guys gotta see my very handy dandy, uh, socks. Let me check. Let me show you guys nice socks. All these very cool socks for them. They can choose their socks when they come in. Gonna be so fun. See, I got my Twizzler socks on. All right, first guest has arrived.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, initial grab. It's going fast, it's going fast.
15 more seconds. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, stop.
Not down, below it.
So the third challenge is that you're going to give your board to the person to your right.
No!
So you're—
it's going to go counterclockwise. Take the— move your board to the person to your right. That looks pretty good.
I'm so sorry, you guys. Totally steal this idea. It was super fun. It's like a good way to have people over for food but also make it fun and engaging. So steal the idea and let us know what other challenges you throw in the mix because we put in like 4 or 5 different challenges and they're all pretty fun. It was actually really fun to watch. Bye-bye. Bye-bye.
