What EVERY Successful Entrepreneur Isn’t Talking About | Mike Andes Motivation Video

Motivational talk by Mike Andes addressing entrepreneurs who feel like giving up. Andes reassures listeners that doubts, stress, sleepless nights, payroll worries and burnout are common even among highly successful founders, and that such struggles are often hidden from public view.

Every entrepreneur that you look up to has gone through the same thing. And the reason that I have to bring some light to this is the fact that, you know, the calls that I had, three of them in the past five days. The reason that those sort of people, they feel like they're all alone is because those. Those phone calls that I had, those zoom calls I had, they're not recorded, they're not publicized, they're not put on the Internet. No one brags about it, no one publishes them and is like, there's not a million views. The entrepreneur that wants to give up.
And today we're going to be talking about two different things. The first one is really a motivation for you to keep going. We're in the middle of the year. You might be down, discouraged. I'm going to tell you what a lot of people you respect aren't telling you, and I think it'll help you get through this hard time. Now, I'm talking about this because I've had three phone calls or zoom calls in the past week with entrepreneurs that want to give up. And I occasionally have these, but they hit a little bit closer to home, these ones, because they're people that I know a little bit closer. And so I want to talk about this because it's something that I feel like we've talked about before, but is important if you are in this case, if you're in this scenario where you feel like giving up and you're just like, you know what? I don't know if I'm cut out for this business ownership thing. I feel like I'm always stressed. I feel like I can't manage people. I feel like it's gonna get worse as the business grows. I don't feel like I can get enough leads for my customers, enough customers coming in, new customers. I can't grow this fast enough. I don't have the skills or the abilities to know how to manage this business. It's growing too quickly. It's not growing fast enough. I'm worried about when the winter comes, or I'm worried about when the summer comes, or I'm worried if this employee leaves. I'm worried about these new employees that I have to train. There's just a multitude of things that we get overwhelmed with as business owners. And it could be emails, like coming back after a long day's worth of work and seeing 100 emails that you have to now address. And you're late. It's late in the evening, and you're tired and you're Worn out. And the last thing you want to do is keep working, especially when those people are complaining and asking for this and asking for that and asking why you weren't there on time and you're just frazzled.
And what I want to talk about today is not so much the tactical how you should deal with that I talked about a couple weeks ago, how to deal with burnout, some of the things. Tactical things to deal with it. But what I want to talk about today is the fact that, guess what? Every entrepreneur that you look up to has gone through the same thing. And the reason that I have to bring some light to this is the fact that the calls that I had, three of them in the past five days, the reason that those sort of people, they feel like they're all alone is because those phone calls that I had, those zoom calls I had, they're not recorded, they're not publicized, they're not put on the Internet. No one brags about it. No one publishes them. And there's not a million views on the entrepreneur that wants to give up and just feels like miserable. No one wants to share that. No one wants to make that public on social media. It's all about, hey, let's look good and let's look, we got everything together, and, like, we know what we're doing. And. And guess what? Every entrepreneur you look up to, including myself or Gary V. Or Grant Cardone, whoever you look up to, is a great entrepreneur. I don't care who it is, what brand, whatever founder of that business started. There was a point in time. There was a moment, There was a night when they couldn't sleep. There was a payroll they could not meet. That was almost poetic. But, like, all of us have been there. And guess what? Like, I said this to one of the people I talked to this past week. I said, look, if I made a video or made even an audio note at 2:33am in the morning, when I was low and discouraged and didn't feel like continuing on, I told him, I said, be very honest. A lot of viewers would be really nervous. And my franchisees, that Augusta Lawn Care, they'd probably be like, oh, my goodness, is he gonna quit? There'd probably be, like, a little bit of uncertainty. Guess what? We all go through times like that where we second guess ourselves and we get anxious over the future, and we don't know if we're gonna be able to make it. We don't know if financially we can take the stress. We've all been there. We just don't share it all the time. I guarantee you Jeff Bezos, who is now the most richest person in the world and has more money than every single one of us combined. Listening to this video.
I'm sure there was a moment in time when he was building Amazon in a little office and a bunch of them on the ground packing in bucks that he didn't think it was going to work out. And maybe he couldn't make payroll. Maybe he was worried about the future prospects of the business. Maybe he didn't think that he'd be able to pivot outside of books. Maybe he thought that the book publishers were going to stomp out Amazon and look what they are today. But of course, everyone sees. If you Google Jeff Bezos, only thing you're going to see is all the wealth and all the things he's doing and you're gonna see all the fancy lifestyle and you're gonna see the keynotes that he makes in front of thousands of people. And everyone's cheering and he's telling the great stories of how it all happened. And it sounds so amazing. And then you have to like, turn YouTube off, you have to turn that off. And you're now stuck in your world of being a business owner, feeling distressed, feeling alone, feeling confused, feel, feeling anxious, feeling stressed. And then it starts becoming a physical manifestation of what's going on in your head. And now you begin to worry and fret, and now it begins to affect your relationships, it affects your physical health. And now you're no longer working out, now you're gaining weight, now you're eating bad foods. And now all of a sudden, this snowball becomes so big and people lead to burnout, they lead to over exhaustion, they can't sleep, they have to go into medicine and things just continually get bigger. And then it affects their relationships and it affects their health, and then it affects their children, then it affects the business, then it affects their employees. Well, guess what? Now the business is being affected and all the things that they were worried about actually start happening. And they begin. It's just a massive snowball.
I just want to say today, I'm not trying to fix that. I'm just trying to say that we've all been there, whether you're on the Facebook group and you just see everyone else in your industry doing so well. You go to an industry meetup of your local competition and it seems like everyone's doing so well. They're talking about the new equipment they bought, the new employees they got, the big job they have, they're talking about their weekend and it just seems like everything's going so well for everyone else and you're stuck in your world and in your small business and you begin to question your abilities and whether or not you're cut out to be an entrepreneur and whether you're cut out to be self employed and all of a sudden it seems really really nice to get that 9 to 5 job to go back to working for the boss and all the motivation and the desire that you had when you first started your business is wiped out completely and I'm not here to fix that today. I'm just saying everyone you look up to now that seems so successful has been there, every single one of them. You name any great entrepreneur I guarantee you there's a moment in time when they couldn't sleep, when they couldn't make payroll, when they were taking loans from family and friends to make ends meet.
And if you're in that situation now don't give up.
