Short excerpt from a YouTube video ("What type of weather warrants work cancelation? 🌪️" by Mike Andes) showing a conversation between two speakers about severe Midwest storms. Speakers report 70 mph winds, tornadoes, hail, and 31 fatalities across the Midwest; they describe widespread school/work closures and a nearby tornado that lifted before hitting the town.
Severe weather tomorrow. 70mph winds, tornadoes, hail.
31 people have died after a series of storms across the Midwest. It looks like one, right? And then there's separation.
This has never happened in my lifetime, where schools have canceled due to the threats of tornadoes. They were really calling for something huge. Something big. So everyone closed down. Everyone did. And there was a tornado heading right towards us. Luckily, it lifted right before it got to my town.
Comment below what it takes in terms of weather for you to cancel work for the day. A little bit of rain, snow, hail or tornado. And would you try to get a little bit of work done in the morning or would you cancel the entire day?
