Mike Andes (video: May 3, 2023) recommends which businesses should join Copilot CRM. He advises small-to-midsize businesses — especially those currently under about $1–1.5M in annual revenue or planning to exceed $200k within two years — to join now to avoid costly CRM migrations later. He suggests larger businesses (around or above $1–1.5M) may wait until end of 2023 for more enterprise features. Andes emphasizes Copilot’s rapid innovation since its spring 2023 launch and frames joining as a bet on future product development and long-term fit.

So who should join Copilot CRM and who should make the switch from another CRM or potentially start using a serum for the very first time? First and foremost, if you're in 2023 and you're doing under 1.5, potentially $1 million in annual revenue, I think you are a prime candidate for joining Copilot. If you're above 200,000 or you're planning to do above $200,000 in annual revenue in the next two years, I'd recommend joining as well. Simply because you the cost of changing a CRM in a couple years if you're planning to grow, is far greater than the incremental savings that you'll have over the next year or two. Maybe you save a hundred or $150 by choosing a cheaper option Right now, however, even a year or two goes by, maybe you save yourself a $3,000, but the cost of switching CRMs is far greater than $3,000. Retraining yourself, losing customer data, losing job history, losing clients payment history, that's the type of thing that's super valuable. And you don't want to be switching when you're at 3, 4, 500,000 in annual revenue. So if you're planning above 200,000 in annual revenue in the next two years, I'd recommend using Copilot again. If you're doing above 1 million or 1.5 million, you might want to wait until the end of 2023 before you make the jump because we have a lot more enterprise level features that we're building throughout 2023 now. The prime candidate for someone that should join Copilot is someone that is invested in the future of what this industry is going to bring because we are not the best solution. Right now. The moment that I'm recording this is spring 2023. We just launched a month or two ago and we are not the best solution on the CRM market. I don't. I know that for if you look over the past one or two months that we've been in operation, the rate of innovation changes, improvements, bug fixes, and making sure that the system is improved. That level and that rate of innovation is far greater than any other CRM. And I can say that with confidence. And so I truly believe that over the next six to 12 months we will eclipse the innovation. We will eclipse the technology of these other CRM legacy platforms. And I truly believe that in 24 months and beyond that we will be the obvious leader only because that rate of innovation will not change. And so if you're planning to grow your business in the next five, 10 years and you don't want to have to switch CRMs, you should be not just thinking about what is today's CRM and software looking like, but also what is this going to look like in five years, what's the leadership team look like? Personally, I'm very much invested in Copilot because I have a massive brand called Augusta Lawn Care that depends on this software doing well. Every single day I'm building my business on the back of this software and every single day I'm in contact with hundreds of small business owners and getting their feedback of what they need to technology to do day to day for their operations and for the profitability of their business. When I look at legacy platforms currently in the CRM world for home services, most of them have looked very, very similar over the last 12, 24, 36 months and even 60 months, five years. Some of them have hardly changed. You should be very concerned if the training material from a software is 3, 4 years old and the UI user interface looks the same, the design looks the same, features look the same technically. In my opinion, a software that's evolving very quickly and staying up with technology should literally need new TR training videos and tutorials almost every single year, simply if they are staying up with the speed and the rate at which technology is moving. That's literally the reason why I started Copilot is because I wasn't seeing anyone in the home service industries and CRM world doing that. And I just kept seeing them use their software as a financial arbitrage to just constantly pump out massive numbers of profitability and spreadsheets or raise venture capital. But with Copilot, my goal is to take what I know works for small business owners and make it applicable and a reality for them in their daily operations. And so if you see that vision being aligned with where you want your business to be in five or 10 years, joining CoPilot right now would be a good decision for you.
