Most owners complain that their employees don't treat the business like them and they're not as efficient as the owner. Two reasons why. Number one, you don't give them the information that you have. That is the standard operating procedures, the systems, and knowing the pricing and everything about the job so they can actually take it to completion and have all the details about the job. And you hide things from them. The second reason is because you don't give them the compensation that an owner has. And that's why pay for performance is so important so that the harder they work, the more money they make. Just like you as the owner do. If you give them the information and you don't hide things from them, and you pay them like an owner, the chance of them acting like an owner and working like an owner increases.
