Live with Minotaur Trading Systems, June 31st 2026

In this live YouTube session, host Kosta Ouzas, trader/engineer Chris, and market analyst Marcus discuss current market conditions and demonstrate the Minotaur trading platform. They start with a liquidity heat‑map overview, showing Bitcoin’s price action on 5‑minute charts where the Minotaur algorithm runs simultaneous long and short orders, exiting at Bollinger‑Band means. Chris explains the 5‑minute time frame, the use of Bollinger Bands for entry/exit, and how the algorithm scales across assets such as gold, silver, natural gas, and tokenized real‑world assets (RWAs) like Nvidia, Tesla, oil, and gas. The team highlights the strategic advantage of trading uncorrelated RWAs on blockchain‑based exchanges, reducing middle‑man costs and enabling 24/7 settlement. Marcus then shifts to a macro view, applying Wyckoff market phases to Bitcoin, identifying the current Phase 4 markdown, projecting price targets (≈$47‑55K) based on liquidity zones, and noting production‑cost floor around $56K. They discuss market sentiment, spot‑buy weakness, and the importance of liquidity in price movements. The Minotaur app is toured, showcasing exchange connections, the Power Law and SignalBot/Accumulator algorithms, built‑in risk‑management calculator, calendar, knowledge‑base, and daily training classes (onboarding, AI research, risk management, advanced algo operations). The session ends with a Q&A invitation and a QR‑code for booking calls. The overall narrative emphasizes how Minotaur leverages algorithmic strategies, tokenized assets, and education to capture volatility in a bearish Bitcoin environment.

How you doing, guys?
Hello.
Awesome. So today we're going to be looking at the markets. We're going to do a bit of a market liquidity heat map check with Marcus, checking out what Bitcoin's up to. Uh, Chris is here as well to give us a bit of an analysis on some of the tokenized assets that we're trading. We've got some commodities that are moving. Uh, some Trump tweets are sending oil up and down and gas, and things are going a bit wild at the moment. There's bombs flying everywhere. So there's plenty of volatility, and, and the Minotaur algorithm is there to harness it. So what we'll do today is we'll have a look at, uh, what we've been doing this week and also checking out just the markets generally. So, uh, Chris, do you want to bring up some charts? We'll have a look at— I'm not sure, what do you want to show us today?
Yeah, no problem. So what we'll do is we'll look at 4 assets that I'm trading within a sub-account. Let me share my screen really quickly and take a look. Come on, you see my TradingView?
Uh, not yet. I don't see it.
Technical difficulties.
Good.
All right, there we go.
Yes. All right, perfect.
We got it.
So as we can see here, by the way, that's why that's happening.
Yeah. So as we can see here, um, this is Bitcoin. Um, we're running the long and the short side at the same time, which is incredible. As you can see, while the market pumps up, we see these exits, right? We see these base orders exiting, right? And on that side, we're actually loading up our short side as well.. And then once the market comes down, it's a nice big payout as you can see. And then like some of the— on the long side as well, kind of filling up as we go down, filling back up when we go up and down as well, and then exiting, uh, within gold as well. So also trading gold within the same sub-account. So as you can see here, we have the long algo as well and also the short on each side.
And what time frames are you running these on, Chris, at the moment?
Yeah, definitely. So we're running on the 5-minute time frame. It's a good, um, happy medium when it comes to the time frame. It's not too slow, not too fast, which is good about these markets.
Yep. Can you talk to us about the difference between trading some of these lower time frames versus high time? I think the highest we go, Marcus, correct me if I'm wrong, is about 1 hour. Is that right? That's kind of like the max that will give us some better entries. But really, we, we trade 15 minutes.
Been the max.
13, 15, and 5, right?
Yeah, 15, but 5 has been, uh, a lot of our clients are getting a lot more action and they're getting more trades in the same zone of safety, so we've been kind of gravitating to the 5.
Okay, awesome. And we're using Bollinger Bands for our entries as well. Chris, you want to talk us through that?
Yeah, definitely. So as you can see here, we're using the Bollinger Bands of the high and the low and then the mean. Basically what happens is the algorithm fires a base order basically at the lower and then exits at the mean as you are at the top, as you can see. And with these Bollinger Bands, what's so nice about them is as we kind of extend out of these ranges, the bot will stop firing orders. And then once you get back, when it gets back in the, the Bollinger Bands, that's when obviously it starts firing again, which is incredible. So you're not going to be running out of orders.
And the point of that is to, is to really avoid buying tops, right? We don't want to buy— we want to avoid buying into these local tops because then we're getting better entries which we can scale into when we need to.
Exactly. And it's great too, is you can really run this on any asset as we're seeing here, right? We have natural gas now as well. We just looked at silver, gold, and Bitcoin. It's always running.
Cool. So that's one of the things that we've really gone into. I know Marcus and I have sort of traveled the world the last sort of 12 months. We've been to Europe, the United States, a few conferences in Australia as well. And look, personally, I think that the, the movement is, you know, Bitcoin and Ethereum. I would say, you know, Bitcoin's really the top dog. Um, Ethereum perhaps is still kind of there trailing, but the altcoins that we're familiar with in the crypto space, I think, are really getting replaced by digital assets and commodities from the real world. We call them RWAs, real world assets. And, you know, the world is, you know, the blockchain is the revolutionary technology, and it seems that there's a lot of incentive to have pretty much everything to become tokenized and on a blockchain. And some of the biggest— the push of some of the, you know, Larry Fink is famous for pushing this narrative. And, um, what we're able to do with some of the exchanges that we work with is they've already actually listed these on these exchanges. That means that, you know, instead of trading, you know, some, some crypto token, you can actually trade Nvidia, you can trade Tesla, you can trade, um, oil or natural gas. So from our perspective, we've, we've found that since most of these commodities and equities are uncorrelated to Bitcoin, unlike altcoins which are pretty much all correlated to Bitcoin's performance, which means if the market dumps, everything dumps further, what we're able to do is create within us the same sub-account a, a, an actual uncorrelated basket of assets that can be traded algorithmically, both long and short if we want to, in a completely diversified and hedged fashion. Which is really, you know, I guess the evolution of what we've been doing trading. And Marcus has really been leading this. Um, you know, do you want to add anything to that, Marcus?
Yeah, just on the, uh, RWAs, uh, they're being led by all the institutions— your Jane Street, State Streets, BlackRock, Citadels— they're all pushing this narrative because, uh, they can provide, uh, the tokenization of real-world assets that's going to basically liquidify everything and bring liquidity to everything. So this is the, this is the big trend for money and assets. They're making them all liquid. And this trend is going to revolutionize the world between that and AI. This is the future. It's going to be taking place probably over the next 5 years or so. Another thing, by you mentioned that you can trade Nvidia on the blockchain and all these popular assets that we look at commodities, stocks. One of the advantages of that is now you have no— you're removing the middleman, the banks, the institutions, the brokers, commissions, all that. You're trading directly into a blockchain counterparty. So this is really, really exciting breakthroughs, and the banks don't like it. But a lot of the old Merrill Lynch brokers, you know, they're having to adapt because the blockchain is making this direct. It's making it instant. There's no— Uh, in stocks you used to have T+3, you would trade it, it settles 3 days later in your account, all that type of stuff. It's instantaneous settlement worldwide, 24/7. No Monday through Friday when Bank of America says so, or none of that. This is really, really exciting stuff. So buckle up.
Yeah, we are, we're really well positioned to take advantage of this, and we've got some good partnerships and that we've done with some, uh, exchanges that are enabling us to, you know, already take advantage of. I don't know anyone who's really at the sort of digital asset space already moved into algorithmically trading, um, you know, traditional equities and commodities like we are. So that's, that's really exciting that, um, that we found ourselves in this position so early.
Yeah, we kind of, we kind of got a little bit lucky in that regard that we chose crypto because we decided not to go into Forex or these other legacy, uh, legacy asset classes that were very, very, uh, inundated with lots of, uh, service providers. A lot of products weren't that good. So Forex, we stayed away from that. We didn't get in traditional stocks and legacy assets like that. We decided 3, 4 years ago to go 100% into crypto. And yes, we were a little bit attached to altcoins and Bitcoin in the beginning and, and the tokens and those types of, uh, coins. But the benefit that we got out of it is now everything from the Genius Act, monetization, banking, finance is going to crypto. So we, it's kind of like we were lucky enough to choose that as a path and everything's coming to us as a result of that. So our algorithm's already, already in position to trade these assets where a lot of other providers are not there yet. So it was a, we kind of got that benefit by choosing crypto.
Yeah.
Excited about it. Yep.
Yeah, awesome. Uh, yeah, it is really exciting. And, um, would you want to jump into Marcus having a look at your trading different? You're able to do that today?
Yeah, I think I can pull it up. Let's see what state of the market's here.
Uh, Bitcoin's doing—
share my screen here.
Chris, can you bring up the Minotaur app as well? We'll just do a quick tour of that for anyone who's interested in seeing what that looks like.
Yeah, no problem.
Sorry, you see my screen?
Let's just do this quick, uh, tour of the app.
Awesome.
All right, here we go. Yeah, so, uh, this is the Minotaur app. So we spent the last sort of year and a half building this out. And it's able to connect with a bunch. Do you want to click on that exchange list there, uh, Chris? Just on Add Exchange. Yeah, so we've managed to connect with most of the digital, uh, digital currency, digital asset exchanges. Uh, so we're able to run both the Power Law algorithm and also our SignalBot algorithm, the Accumulator, which is specifically a partnership that we've done with Blowfin. But But then we've got the rest of those ones there as well. So this is really exciting. Maybe just click around and we'll just give people a quick tour of some of the functionality, what the bots look like. Chris has got some small accounts running. We've got our calculator built in as well. So this is all to do with our risk management and position sizing, which is just so important. And one of the other cool features that we have is the calendar. You can quickly have a look at the calendar. Yeah, maybe talk us through some of these classes, Chris, that people can join. If they want to learn more about how to run the algorithms themselves?
Yeah, definitely. So every day, as you can see, we have some classes available, you know, for our clients for any needs, any helps, um, just want to talk about the market as well. So we have daily onboarding support calls, researching the markets, kind of looking at AI involved as well, risk management class, kind of advanced algo operations, then obviously, you know, kind of getting started for our new members. But it's an incredible kind of resource to have, and I highly suggest getting on a call, once, uh, on board.
Cool.
Uh, Marcus, you're going to be doing advanced algo operations classes as well once a week, so that's for anyone who wants to learn how to— yeah, what would you call it— get into the, the driver's seat a little bit more.
And yeah, it was like, uh, unlocking the algorithm's full potential. It's a very, uh, sophisticated, very powerful tool. Uh, you can put it on very basic settings. That's kind of where everybody starts in retail, basic clients. And then as they progress and they become more experienced, then it has a lot more capabilities. And that's what we do in that class is unlock the advanced stuff for them, make them aware of what it can do. Yep. Yeah.
Awesome. Now we also got the knowledge doc section as well. Oh, yeah, we'll come back to that. So yeah, all the training here on basically teaching you how to learn the, you know, the, the trading manual, I guess, behind this. And we also do one-on-one support calls if you want a little bit more of a white glove service as well. If you want to spend an hour with Chris or Severio, we do that too. That's just built into the app. So yeah, we're really excited about, um, the application. It's working really well. I think it's been about 2 months that we've rolled this out for now. Is that right?
Yeah.
Um, so we're really proud of that. Awesome. Thanks, Chris.
All right, sorry, Marcus, let's bring up Okay, let me, uh, load it up again here. Let me know if you see my screen here. See the liquidity?
Yeah, yeah, we got you.
Good, good, good. So this is the universe as it stands, uh, We like to gauge Bitcoin, the alts, as Kosta Ouzas was saying, they tend to follow the gravitational pull of Bitcoin. It's dominant. So if you want to know what crypto is doing, just take a look at Bitcoin. It's the most liquid. It's the most institutionally allocated. So that's what we use. All right. So here's what's going on now. I like to kind of start off with the big picture. So we're, we're actually looking from from 2023. Then we had the '24 consolidation right here. This was '24. Let me, uh, change this. So we had the '24 right here, and then, uh, and then what's odd is the, the, the, uh, market has a memory. So we're actually in that same consolidation zone now. Another thing that kind of jumps off is what is our cycle right now. So we're using the Wyckoff template to go by. Wyckoff has 3 stages, kind of popularized by Stan Weinstein. You have the, uh, the bull— during the bullish phase, that's a phase 3 or phase 2. And then here, and then your distribution phase, that's a phase, uh Phase 3. So we're currently in markdown, which is our— the downtrend or the bear market phase. That's our Phase 4. There's 4 phases to it. And when that bear market phase ends, we typically go through, uh, you can see it, we got to go way back over here. Once we started to bottom out, we took out all the liquidity on the board, took out the liquidity here, and then we went through this bottoming phase before entering into the phase 2. So Phase 1 is the accumulation. That's the phase where the institutions tend to set the bottom. The price is— bottom is in, and the institutions go to work accumulating large, significant positions that they later mark up, which is the Phase 2. So we are in Phase 4, mark down, which is a series of higher high— of lower highs and lower lows, right? So we're in this bear phase right now, and people want to know, well, uh, phases— market, market phases have, uh, time and they have distance, right? So we'll look at the time first, from the, uh, peak to where we entered into the bear market. It usually lasts 1 year. So let's look forward. Almost the time is very, very predictable on Bitcoin. Let me, uh, set my, uh, time here. So we're looking at approximately October is the, uh, time frame. So we have a time frame in October. Just draw a little line here to kind of keep an eye on that. Move it over just a little bit. So then the other, the other component that we need to address is, okay, what is the depth or the percentage decline, right? So from the top, what are we looking at here? We were down about— what is that? 55%. And usually about 70%. It's been getting a little— it used to be 80, 75, 77, so 70, 65 might get it done. It's becoming less and less intense each time. Just as the tops are not as intense, the bottom's not going to be as intense either. So right here, what we're looking at, the bottom of the known universe is 41, but there's a chance that we don't go there, uh, so we'll work our way up. The higher probability is lower 47. Then when I put in the, uh, 5x, that's the 47, and then we have another key target at about 50 to 55. So that is the depth that we're looking at. So somewhere around the first, uh, major level is about 55 to 52, somewhere in there, right here. And then we have a, a probably that final push might tap into 47K. There's a high-intensity zone of liquidity there, what we like to call fried chicken. So we'll see how it goes. Let me try to zoom in just to show you guys the intensity of it. All right, we'll come in a little bit more so you can see that it's a pretty nice buildup of liquidity there. That those levels. So those are like magnets for price. So let's talk for a second about what's specifically happening in the market right now. Uh, we have a little rally that's been going on for a couple of weeks now, and every time we get these rallies, the sentiment starts to get bullish. Um, and then once the sentiment gets bullish, there comes the wrecking ball, right? It comes down. So what, what happens is the market is clearly taking liquidity out of the markets, liquidating positions that have been set for some time now. So it's taken out these longs, but when it takes some liquidity, it reverses for a little while to build momentum to take the next and the next. So this rally is just a counter of the major trend. The trend is still down. Uh, one of the things we need to be very careful of here is when we have these reversals, these major reversals, right? We have one here, we have one in May. Uh, retail crowd calls them bear flags, but the depth from where it releases from is pretty deep, right? So like we had this low, this, uh, swing point here, but we haven't— we've taken it out, but there's more to go where the depth is not— we haven't reached that depth yet. So Just be very, very careful with that. How high can this rally go? Let's address that really quickly. How high can it go? Um, we'll have to zoom in on some lower, uh, liquidity for that. So right here we can see that, um, when we look at the 25x and the 10x together, we're actually taking the smaller liquidity pools out now. So the you're probably— this could possibly reach $71K. We got some major resistance here, and there's no liquidity beyond that. It's a void. So when you have a void of liquidity, there's no fuel or no magnetic pull. So if we get in this zone here, break, uh, $67K, then the high probability is we take out this, uh, internal resting liquidity right here, and that terminates at about $71K to $73K, and that probably will put us on our path lower. It's not guaranteed that we get up here. We can, we can pull back from here, but it looks like we're going for that, these levels somewhere in here now. So that's, that's the state of the universe, uh, liquidity. That there's two things: price engineers liquidity, and engine— and pri— and liquidity attracts price. It's two, one of the same.
So still, still very highly unlikely that you could exit a bear market without taking that bottom liquidity, right? So the odds are stacked in the favor of— and, and really the economic sentiment is horrible right now, I have to say. It's just, just on a personal level, like, I'm not talking to anyone who's got any, you know, business is tough for everyone. Um, to think that the bull run would just start now because it's going to be a shit— it just seems so improbable. No one's got, you know, it doesn't seem like people are going to be spot buying Bitcoin right now.
And if you look at the spot Bitcoin volume, it's actually down.
Yeah, yeah, I've been tracking that too. We should track that actually, if we can, on another one of those.
Show you some things here.
Um, let's have a look.
Yeah, let me see if I can find it. Uh, so it's on TradingDipper. Pull up this. I'll share it again here. Yes. All right, all right, let me share again. All right, let me know when you can see that. All right, you see that? Yeah, we got—
yeah, no, we can. Yes.
Yeah, this is an aggregated chart right here. So the price obviously is the top. Open interest is something that we track pretty heavily, um, see the participants. Uh, but, uh, what I wanted to draw attention to is the, uh, Coinbase right here. I'll just make it the biggest, uh Coinbase is where we track spot Bitcoin purchases, and, um, it has been— let me, uh, see what the time frame is on this because it was— had been trending lower. Um, that's what happens when you're not— you don't have it pre- preset up here. Gotta go back here. Well, I'll have to— I'll pull it up for next week. We'll look at it. But yeah, the, the spot purchases have been going down.
Yeah, you really need to. And, and without the spot, it's just, you know, we've done some talks about this. The market's just driven by the leverage in the futures markets and the liquidity. So without the underlying spot buys, it's— everything's going to be very short-lived, right?
And another thing that we track is we track the, uh, production of Bitcoin cost, the mining, mining production cost. And right now the production cost of Bitcoin is $56K. So price likes to meet the production cost. Yeah, because that's one of the— that's one of the bottoming features of a bear market is when price touches or matches production costs or dips slightly below— slow production below production costs creates a floor.
Yeah.
Oh, so that's your 56 right there. We hit 56, that's the production cost of a Bitcoin right now. So that starts to bottom out real quick. Yeah.
All right, awesome. Sorry, Marcus.
It's a great time to buy it too.
I'd like to buy I like buying things at manufacturing cost, but buying threes, right? If you— whatever you've got set aside, you want to do split that purchase up into 3 goes. That's the Marcus's little strategy there. Always split everything into threes.
Always accumulate. You don't buy some at 57, that's the cost, that's manufacturing cost. I mean, that, that's a good deal. And then if it dips below through capitulation, you have some capital for that.
Yeah, absolutely. Awesome. All right, thanks guys. We'll, uh, we can leave it at that. No, Chris got to run and we started a little bit late. Um, but yeah, we'll be here every single week. And yeah, if you've got any questions next time, post them in the chat while we go. We'll try and answer those as well. Awesome. All right everyone, enjoy the rest of your week. And if anyone wants to speak with us, you can book a call using that QR code up in the corner there as well.
