Live with Minotaur Trading Systems, September 15th 2026

In this live YouTube session, Kosta Ouzas hosts a discussion with team members Marcus and Chris about the Minotaur trading system’s recent achievements and operational details. The team celebrates hitting a $100 million cumulative trading‑volume milestone, driven by client‑run algorithms across a diversified basket of tokenized assets—including Bitcoin, crude oil, gold, silver, and natural gas—enabled by a new partnership with the Blofin exchange. They walk through the Minotaur accumulator algorithm, highlighting its dual long/short design, volatility‑harvesting approach, defensive scaling (DCA), strict drawdown protection (max 5 % loss), and hedging that makes the system “antifragile.” The conversation also showcases a Bitcoin‑cycle clock built with Power‑Law expert Giovanni Sandostasi, indicating the market is still early in the bottom‑phase of the cycle. Client support structures are described, such as daily onboarding calls, AI‑focused classes, a knowledge base, and a “Trading Desk” where advanced users can fine‑tune the algorithm using volume‑profile and liquidity‑pool insights. Marcus presents a macro‑level heat‑map analysis, explaining value‑area high/low, point‑of‑control, and liquidity traps, and discusses upcoming catalysts like the Fed meeting and the Clarity Act, concluding that market direction remains uncertain but the system is positioned to react to any trigger. The session ends with an invitation for viewers to book demos or join the Minotaur program.

I've got Marcus and Chris with me today. How you going, guys?
All right, all right.
Doing well. Rolling, rolling, rolling. Big week potentially. There's a lot of the big, big news items coming out. We don't know if they're priced in yet. It's going to be interesting. We've had a big pump in Bitcoin recently, and we're seeing how that's going to resolve. We've got the Fed meeting this week. We've got the Clarity Act being decided as well. So these are two big catalysts. That will be interesting to see how they pan out. So we're going to today take a look at the Minotaur system with Chris. We'll have a look at some of the assets he's trading, running the system on, what our clients have been onboarded lately. Marcus will jump into the heatmaps as well and check out what Bitcoin's doing. And another thing I want to show is I want to do a weekly update on trading volume because it's been really exciting. We've got a new partnership with some really cool exchanges, and our application has been launched and is going really well. So yeah, we actually hit the $100 million mark, guys. So good job. $100 million in trading volume, which is really amazing. So that means our clients are running the algos. They're doing well. You'll see this is tracking up every single week, and we're going to be doing an update on that every single week so people can see. Maybe we can discuss some of these, but we're seeing that the most volume being generated by our clients is coming from a bunch of assets. Uh, this is something that we've been pointing them in the direction of. Obviously, you know, we do specialize in Bitcoin. However, uh, we are also really, uh, running some really successful strategies on crude oil, gold, silver, and natural gas as well, which are some tradfi assets. These tokenized markets, I think, are the future. I think they're going to be a really big part of this space moving forwards. And we're seeing that running an algo and a bot on a diversified portfolio basket of these assets actually obviously protects the downside much more, diversifies the strategy as well. So yeah, good work, guys. Did you want to add anything to this? Talk about any of these assets?
Or— yeah, you know, I think the volume started to speak for itself. The machine is running. It's going to continue to run because this is where the demand is going. This is where the powers that be, all of the institutions that control the capital flows are moving to tokenize the real-world assets, which puts them in accessibility of algorithms like this. So this is exactly where you want to be and need to be. Yeah.
Yeah, absolutely. Go, Chris.
I was just going to say too, and how the algorithm reads the candles of the charts, right? How it's built on all these different assets, not just one. So you can basically use any asset. that you'd like to trade on?
Yeah, so we've, we've done a partnership with Blofin. We're getting the best results from Blofin. They've got good liquidity on all these assets as well, and, uh, we're finding that it's a very low-friction exchange for people to join no matter where they are in the world. So yeah, we are going to be focusing on our partnership with them. Uh, Chris, did you want to bring up some charts? Let's have a look how the accumulator— Minotaur accumulator algo is going and behaving on some of these.
Let's do it. Let me know if you can see my chart.
Yeah, we got you.
Perfect. So this is Bitcoin, kind of our main kind of pair that we're trading on. Um, this is a long and short one going at the same time, so we're trading on both sides of the market. I just want to take a look at this really quickly. It's really actually real nice. Um, you see that the algo exited right up here, right? And right before that, the short actually exited. So within this kind of short, very tight span, within this hour We had that nice long and short exit at roughly the same time, which is really nice, kind of, you know, getting profits on both sides of the market. Once again, kind of to piggyback what Kosta was saying, right, the last kind of couple weeks or so we've been kind of in that deciding phase of going kind of sideways and what the market's going to do. This is where this algorithm is really striving, as you can kind of see when it comes to these trades. Just non— kind of stop.
Look at that.
As well.
It's pretty cool. So let's talk about it. Someone doesn't know— sorry, Mark, it's gone.
And volatility harvesting at its best. That's what it's built to do, harvest that volatility, that energy. It's what it's doing.
Yeah, so, so to explain, if someone's watching for the first time, uh, what we're doing with the accumulator on some of these assets— maybe bring up a different asset like silver or oil so we can have a look as well. So what we've done with the Minotaur strategy is evolved on these different assets. We've moved— we never were trying to predict the direction we were using on Bitcoin, the power law as our guide. But on these other assets, we've discovered a way where we can basically focus on harvesting volatility rather than trying to predict direction. And the way that we do this is by running the algo both long and short. So you can see there at the screen how we're running 2 versions of it. You can see that little— That the The text at the top of the screen. You'll see there's 2 lines of text. That's basically 2 of those algorithms running. One's running long and one's running short. Do you just want to toggle between those, Chris? Yeah, there you go. So the point there is that they both have a fixed range on either side. They both have drawdown controls. They're both within that using DCA, or let's call it defensive scaling, but also using the algorithm for the entries as well. So the algorithm is particularly good at picking up trends and entering at the right time and getting out As well, you can see the examples of when it gets out and when it gets in. Very good at picking local bottoms as well, waiting for those trends to end before it enters. So that's one of the benefits of having an algorithmic system rather than having some kind of mechanical DCA bot, which is just going to enter at predefined levels and also kind of pre-fill an order book with limit orders. What we're doing is we're waiting for the algo to decide when it wants to enter, and then it's firing a market order at that time. So This is a really good way as well for Minotaur to be able to scale to a lot of clients without really losing much of its edge. Do you want to add to any of that, guys?
Yeah. And one other thing, we're able to run it long and short, and we're running it defensively. We do have it hedged, and we have it with a max drawdown stop system to where this thing only is maximum drawdown of 5%. So we have a very stringent protected left tail risk protection because we've been on this— we've been around the block a few times. And a lot of systems do really good in bullish conditions where they really capitalize on the overall beta of the market. If the market's going up, every system looks good. But can a system survive the black swan flash crash And massive drawdowns. And that's what this is built to do. We, we built this thing with left tail risk first to where we don't have dead capital, we don't have massive funding fee bleed, and we keep it running and we keep it rolling on both sides. So it's well hedged, well balanced, well defended. It's, it's an antifragile system. Fantastic.
Sorry, go Chris.
And just to piggyback what Marcus was saying as well, with the multi-assets as well as we're trading within that sub-account. So basically all the, all the algorithms when it comes to Bitcoin, gold, silver, any asset that you're trading on, it's within that same sub-account. So you're always trading at the same time, right? So your multiple positions always exiting, always entering, which is amazing.
Yeah, that's, that's really cool as well that we can run it like that. Yeah, sorry, go Marcus.
Yeah, that's a really excellent point, Chris, to remind that also. So on top of having the max drawdown, we hedge long and short. Then on top of that, we have semi-correlated and non-correlated assets that also provide a margin of safety because they are price actions different. So when you add— when we stack all those margins of safety, it becomes a very, very safe, robust system. Excellent point.
Okay, awesome. Do you have anything else to show us there, Chris?
I think that's good. I'll stop sharing my screen.
Awesome. I want to bring up the clock that we've got within our application as well. So this is the Minotaur out here. Obviously, we work very closely with Giovanni Sandostasi of Power Law fame. He developed this clock for us and we've embedded it into our app as well to give us an idea of potentially where we are in the cycle. I thought we'd just take a look at it. A lot of people are talking about the bottom being in yet. According to the Bitcoin clock, we still have a little bit of time until we actually get to that. This is from the Genesis block, this kind of spiral. And yeah, we do have a little bit of time still to get to the bottom of the cycle. So I wanted to, you know, current price right now is $77,000. So just wanted to have a look at this before we dived into the heat map with Markus, which he's going to bring up in a second. But another thing I wanted to discuss Also, it's just our support calendar. Maybe I'll get Chris quickly to talk through it. So if you're thinking about joining the Minotaur program, this is one of the cool features that we have and we embedded into our applications. Basically all the times that our support team is able to get on a call, a group call, and basically help you out. Do you want to go through, Chris, some of the classes that we have here that people are able to join?
Of course, definitely. So we have daily onboarding support calls. So if you have any questions or even just want to discuss strategies, with the algorithm. You can hop in there daily. We also have like an AI class that I actually personally teach. Comes to how kind of AI systems can kind of help you with your strategies and help you with the algorithm as well. Um, also advanced algo operations that Marcus does. Once again, those daily calls that are every single day. So we're here to support our clients, you know, anything that they have when it comes to, you know, strategy or just, just need help with the algorithm. We're here for you.
Basically, the point of this is to allow our clients to learn everything they need to know and to be as hands-on and hands-off as they need to be. Obviously, you can really learn as much as you want. The algorithm is a tool like any other, and some people want to be experts at using the tool. Some people just want to use the tool to do its job. One of the things that we do is allow people to take it as far as they want. We've also got our knowledge section here, which is really helpful for people who, again, want to learn how to set things up themselves. Um, and we've got a bunch of different, uh, areas where you can watch videos and learn how to set all that up yourself.
Cool.
All right, Marcus, do you want to take a look at Bitcoin's heatmap?
Yeah, we'll take another look here, see what's going on. There, my screen. All right, you guys see that?
Yeah, yeah.
So basically, uh, you know, we're gonna see if we get this Bart Simpson pattern to kick in here. You know, we're waiting on that, so we'll see. So, huh. But anyway, uh, Costa already showed the clock. So we already are aware that there is time left. We're a little bit early, so there's a time that still still hasn't been accounted for yet. So when you have bull and bear markets, we have our distance, and then we also have our time. We have two things; they're both just as important. People, everyone's watching the price. Levels, price levels, but people forget about time. So one one thing that I wanted to draw everybody's attention to: not we haven't really changed since the last week. So there's the big three. I would need to see a structural shift here. That's one. I also need to see the time. That's two. And then the third thing is the liquidity. We haven't mitigated this liquidity down here. So. Uh, one quick point I wanted to, to bring up here. I like to look at 2 things that drive price. Liquidity is the destination for price, right? Liquidity is heading— is where price is eventually going. It's seeking liquidity all the time. It needs to. And volume, where the volume is traded, where people, commercial traders, like to do business, where they're doing business. So this is the macro volume profile here. This has been around since 2024, so it's the, it's the granddaddy of all of them. So what tends to happen is a lot of commercial traders consider this an auction. So what tends to happen is we have levels right here at the top, and this is also a deviation of volume. So the standard deviation is 68.2, or 70, you can round it up to 70% of the volume is traded in here. And these tail events here are smaller deviations of less than 30%. So the components of this profile here, we have a value area high. This is what is considered premium pricing. And then we have a value area low. This is considered discount. And then we have the point of control where most of the volume is traded, 70, the highest high volume nodes. So what tends to happen in this profile is price will rotate from the value area high through the auction, through fair value, which is the point of control, down to discount, which is the value area low. And it depends on how big the time frame you're looking at. The market's fractal. This could take a long time. So as you can see, we've— we started this rotation, uh, well, actually began way back in 2024, and we rotated up through it. Then we deviated above it, which is extreme premium pricing. Then we collapsed back inside of it in November. So we, we've been actually— when you look at the big picture, I always say when in doubt, zoom out. So when you look at it from a big picture perspective, all we've really done is we've just rotated through value, went from premium, extreme premium pricing, premium to fair value. We've been hovering around this fair value area for a while. This is the price the market likes to trade Bitcoin at, which is probably about $70,000, $68,000 to maybe $60,000. And then we just had a nice little burst here. But if you look at this burst, it was 30%, but it's, it's just not a big event inside of this profile. So the point that I want to make here is this is the one that really jumped out to me. Is we have yet to reach the value area low. We haven't been all the way through the auction yet. We've actually front-run this level, and the market, when it front-runs a level, it typically goes back and taps that level. Those levels are very, very important. This is a key level right here. So even in 2024, we tapped the level, took the liquidity, and then we were off to the races. Well, guess what? We still haven't checked this box yet. This level has not been tapped, so that means everybody did not get a chance to trade through the auction. It's an— it's an imbalance or inconsistency. It hasn't been filled. So this is another strong reason. And then on top of that, you have the liquidity that's sitting down here at the level that we've clearly front-run, right? Front-run right there. This was back in, uh, June 24th. So we completely front-run this level. So when markets do that, it's a high, high, high probability that it comes back and taps the level, which would mean that level is sitting at— now it's at 55,000, and there's a ton of liquidity sitting here. So, you know, and that, that, that ties in with the time portion and everything, and the fact that we didn't flip the structure anyway. The market, you know, is we're still in a bear market until we get out of these three pieces. So very interesting. The market will do every it'll do everything it needs to do to get the majority of the traders or investors offsides. That's all it is. It's a wrecking engine, a deleveraging engine, and when too many people get offsides, like a like a boat that's imbalanced, it's going to turn it over. So. This is getting everybody and their grandmother bullish, and that's you know you know how that works. Yeah, proceed proceed with caution. Yeah, but you also decided to do this whole session on zoomed out so you can see the bigger picture. Sometimes we get too zoomed in. Yeah.
Now this is something that Marcus really dives into, especially in his trading desk. So so Marcus and Chris work closely together in one of our advanced. Training modules called the Trading Desk. And he actually helps clients understand these volume profiles, these liquidity pools, and how the price action moves in and out of them. Because there are dynamic adjustments that can be made to the algorithm in order to boost performance if you're willing to be more hands-on, if you're willing to learn more of these things as well. So it's one of the things that Marcus and Chris run themselves on the side. And they've got a bunch of, let's call it, high-level, high-performing algo operators in there that they work very closely with. So if that's something that interests you as well, you can work directly with Marcus and Chris in the trading desk once you become a client. Very interesting. So when do you think this is going to play out? Do you think that there's going to be a big reaction to these meetings that we talked about at the beginning of the video? Do you think a lot of that is already— well, it's already priced in because nothing's really happened? The last few weeks. So do you think that based on, I guess, the announcement of the Fed meeting, we'll see a— like, if there's a hike, do you think that's enough of an indicator, enough of a catalyst to, to bring us back down to at least the lower levels, the 72, then perhaps the 65?
I think, um, it's kind of funny how all this kind of works to do exactly what it needs to do when it needs to do it, right? So when the market needs to correct there'll be some type of event that will make it happen. You can blame it on the news, or if the market needs to move up, it'll be something, right? So a lot of that stuff is baked in. I don't particularly look at the news or the Fed. I just set these liquidity traps and let the algorithm just fly through it, right? So ultimately, we'll see. But I think we're at a state of— we're kind of like at an impasse right now to where We're not out of the bear market, and we're not—we haven't concluded it either. So we're kind of like in this flux, and you're right. Yes, a Fed surprise could be the match that sparks the gasoline that's already sitting there waiting to go off. Yeah.
Yeah.
Very interesting.
Anything you wanted to add, Chris?
We'll see.
Yeah, just to kind of add to Marcus what he was saying, right? Kind of it's everything baked in, and these are just excuses for what. Remarkable too, but we'll see what kind of happens. We're kind of in limbo right now, so we'll see.
Awesome. All right, guys, uh, thank you for your time today. And again, if you want to sign up, book a call with one of our team. We can do a demo with you guys and show you exactly how it works. And obviously, we're on the inside. If you want to work closely with us as well, you can, um, join the program. So thanks a lot, guys. We'll, uh, touch base again next week.
All right, see you later.
See you guys.
