Good. All right. We are joined by the man, the myth, the legend just walked in. A late arrival, a late addition to the game. People are wondering what are we going to see him in the million dollar buying game. We are welcoming my friend Alan Keating to the mix.
What's up, brother?
Mr. Keating, great to see you as always.
Always a pleasure.
You were on the fence about coming in here. The final hour arrived. Finally you said, I'm in, I'm coming to play. What was going through your mind and how does it feel to be here in the million dollar buy again?
Yeah, there was a lot of uncertainty. It wasn't decided. I just thought about it and I know Ryan's committed a lot of energy to this project and I know this show means a lot to him. And I know that if I come and I bring some extra energy, it's going to maybe do a little bit better. And I felt like the decision was really just to help Hustler and the project move along. And also I see, you know, a table full of $8 million
fired up. Right.
I mean, yeah, like I don't know what to expect. What do you expect?
I expect madness. I mean, you got the stand up game here. We got up to AK Straddle, we got you in the mix. JRB in the mix, Tony G in the mix. I'm expecting violence. I'm expecting blood on the table. I'm expecting big pots. I mean, how do you feel about the energy in the room today? It feels like feel different in here.
Right? It's absolutely elevated.
Yeah, right. The place is packed.
I felt the energy different when I walked all the way at the front. There's been a lot of buildup for this. I think a lot of the guys at the table have are going to come in with a strategy. You know, maybe they're going to play different than they normally play. I might have a strategy too.
I'm wondering about you. Are we going to see that same Alan Keating 80 BPIP Alan Keating playing every hand. Give it a lot of action. Are we going to see maybe a different Alan Keating today?
It's an interesting situation because there's eight handed, which is more than I'm used to. And I think that with the elevated buy in, people are going to be more protective. And so the game, I'm thinking is going to play tighter, which means I need to be a little more selective. Will I be? I don't know.
You'll see when you get at the table and you feel that first kick, feel the vibe, feel the flow. Of the game.
The last time I went into a game with this kind of thinking, Stanley and I were going to a game. We talked in a car for 10 minutes and he's like, okay, Alan, play your A game. You know, this is your time to shine. We agreed. I went in and I was all in and blind the first ten hands. So I haven't held a plan together like this. Okay, before.
You're saying you could go all in line for the million?
No, we're not doing that. But I'm looking at this as an opportunity to kind of let other people clash into each other and take advantage of that. Well, listen. And here's the secret I will. Here's the secret I will share. I'm predicting a slow start, but at the end, I'm hoping to be deep, stacked, shorthanded, and playing for it all.
Biggest winner, Alan Keating.
I have a flight at 1pm so you have me until then. Perfect.
All right, fella, let's tell me. Wrap it up. We got Alan Keating Till 1pm Alan, we're so happy you're here, man. Thanks for coming in the game. We'll be watching action and good luck to you.
Thanks, man.
Let's go.
Cool. See you guys.
