This guy is a special talent. That was wild.
Wow.
By the way, Steve could care less.
It was really something. It's why he's one of the most dangerous cash game players on the planet.
99% of people got to fold that hand. That was a great bet. 99. Like, 99.5.
This is one of the best hands of poker I've ever seen.
We're at Poker Go Studios outside of the RA Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, and we're going to record an episode of High Stakes Poker, which is a show that I grew up watching, and now I get to be on it and pretty excited. Gentlemen, how's it going? Let's take a look at the set. Wow, he's here. How about this, everyone? Hello. Good to see you. How's it gonna go tonight?
I made sure to get you a corner seat.
Oh, thank you. Yeah, it's very important to me. Seven seat. Howdy, Alan.
David.
Mr. Keith. What's up, buddy?
How are you? Good to see. Looking good. You, too. Yeah. You win the hello. Nice to see you. Brittany. What's up, Peter? How are you, brother? Good. Yeah. You good? Yeah. Good to see you. All right, over here. Do a little damage. I better get some chips, huh? I'm buying in for a half a million dollars, and that's because I want ammunition for real war. Who you are as a poker player and as a gambler? Well, I think they're seeing and enjoying the same thing I am, which is just outright gambling. Right. I want to put the pedal to the metal and do it as, you know, play the game how I feel like it's meant be played. I mean, do you get nervous in big spots? Of course I get nervous. I'm a human, you know, the whole thing we're doing together in this poker game is just kind of outrageous when you zoom out. Right. So it's not lost on me. Appreciate it.
Good luck.
Good luck. What was your name? Lucas. Lucas Allen. In my life. Jadira, hear us? Yeah, it's me. We'll hang out. I'm sure they'll have different places. You can come in and watch this while we record this.
Thanks again. Good luck.
Thank you. The relationship with poker started when I was very young. Our family, when we get together, isn't. Isn't like partying and drinking, all that. It's sit down and deal me in. What I'm trying to do is kind of recreate those same dynamics that I grew up with.
I.
And bring them to environments that are pretty competitive. I'm excited to play with everyone at this table, I know it's gonna be a lot of fun. And I'm not gonna let Peter leave this table without a fight.
Apparently, this guy Peter played in a Hustler Casino live million dollar game. When it was over very early in the morning, four guys lost over a million dollars. Pete walked through with 5 mil.
This was my second time playing with Peter. I was really trying to tussle with him the first time I played with him, and he won $2 million pot against me, where I went all in on the river to his full house and just got wiped out.
All in from keating snap a $2 million pot. Peter Rivers a full house. Keating bluffs it off.
I played one more hand where I was doing all this betting and, you know, made us lucky. Straight on the river,
and Keating rivers the nuts. Finally, a pot where Peter does not have the best hand at showdown.
Won a big pot, and he left, and I didn't get a chance to keep it going.
He calls cheating the nuts. 1.6 million. Frustratingly taps the table,
says, I called
you with a five, buddy. Cheating wins another massive pot. Oh, Peter's taking a walk. He's steamed up. Close the doors. Shut the casino down. Nobody's going anywhere. Cheating's back.
You know why we're here. So here's the part I've been waiting for.
Hi, everybody. AJ Benza along with Nick Schulman as high stakes poker season 14 rolls on. Welcome back inside Aria Resort and Casino. It's a new lineup tonight, and it screams action. And Mark Kulik is always down a gamble.
With Kulik, though, it's kind of one of the fun parts of poker is sometimes you meet someone, don't know anything about them until they're at the table. Right. I have to say, playing with someone like him, it's almost like Batman and Robin, because in this sense, I'm trying to get the table really gambling, and so is he. So we got this kind of cool play, every hand blast mentality between us. I really liked playing with him. Here's a hand that shows kind of how playful things are at the beginning. I've got a weak pair, but this kind of shows how much fun we're having at the table. Kulik in here trying to bluff me out with the king 5. It seems like to some people an irrelevant hand or, like small or dinky, but in reality, this is just fun. Right? Right here I've got, you know, a good hand here, a suited ace comes, two diamonds like this. This is the type of situation I Know I'm either going to win or lose a big pot. And that's just a miracle, seeing his hand. I have an unbeatable hand, and he's betting into me. $125,000 all in.
Oh, boy.
And there it is.
Okay, so this was a bluff that went terrible.
He had no chance of winning. Look at 0% right there. And I bet him out of potentially bluffing me on the river. You can see the regret on my face. It's palpable. I don't know what I was doing. I made the best hand you can, and I scared away, you know, the better. That was. That was not the right way to play it.
So this is just Steve.
That's just Steve.
So welcome, Steve.
Steve's amazing guy. So much fun. He figures out a way to make a joke that I wouldn't make in a thousand years. Steve also has his own style, which I appreciate. He's got these weird small bets that I think psych people out sometimes. And he gets people to make big mistakes. And if it wasn't at poker, I'd hang out with him anywhere. Ay, ay yai. I've got too much money. All in. I don't remember what happened. What just happened. I don't have aces.
I totally.
I swear to God, I forgot you were in the hand. How much is it bad at this game? That's old. Peter got nicknamed Peter the Conqueror because he just ran over everyone. Ten months ago or so that he and I played some of the biggest pots that televised poker's ever seen. It's fun to play with someone that you know you can make a big pot with. So this is great. Feldman has a pair, and Kulik has two high cards. Peter's looking all that money out there like he wants to steal it.
Peter, 15,000. Is he looking at his hole card, you think?
Eight, three. Offshoot.
Peter's just trying to steal this with just firepower. There's not much there other than Kulik, who's maybe a little suspicious.
Peter with the eight of diamonds, three of clubs, just south of 50 in the middle, and he bets roughly 50. What is that, AJ 40,000? 40 dimes.
Yeah.
Kulik makes two pair here, and Peter doesn't let up. Kulik's there doing the right thing, holding onto this hand.
Peter's still playing blackjack a hundred times. A hundred times. Ayyjayy.
Peter is just blasting in his hand. I mean, he has no business doing any of the stuff he's doing, but I love it. And now the miracle comes. The queen.
Queen of clubs, straight on the board.
I know he checks here, which is like, I mean, so disappointing, because if he went all, all in here or put a big, big bet out there, Kulik, with two pair, would just be struggling to call to get his money back on the straight. See, right there. He knows it. He gave up. He shouldn't have. You should have went for it all.
Interesting.
One more bet. One more bet.
Peter.
Peter, one more bet. One more bet. Just one more bet. Peter Toji.
He's insane.
Meanwhile, Kulik is sick. He can't even imagine how this happened, right? Like, how did that card come?
What did the icon happen? Sometimes chops can be fun.
The fact that Peter got there to this chop is completely outrageous. And you can see it all over Kulik's face. First. Family pot.
Family pot.
Yeah, you must have a king.
Queen.
All of us are going to the flop here with mediocre hands, just trying
to hit Top pair for Peter. AJ that's the one.
Everybody else, eh?
Look at the nine for Brittany. Draw to the nuts for Feldman. Ace of diamonds working for David Bud.
3,000 for Peter.
Angry call.
Brittany calls.
Yeah, right here. I just pump it up. I really want to just win the hand on the spot, maybe rub it in Peter's face, show the cards, have
some fun with it.
But he calls. And now I got to figure out what to do next. What if Peter understands everything that's being said and he knows exactly why he did that? That'd be crazy, right? Right there. You can tell the rest of the table is picking up that I might be messing with him, right? And I give him kind of like a little bit of a smile, almost admitting it, but it doesn't mean I'm going to stop. And I. I get this second spade on the turn. So, you know, if I make one more spade, I have a flush, and I'm pretty sure I win the hand, but I still need him to fold.
Pretty scary card for Peter. He's not going anywhere.
Nope. Nope, he's not.
He calls, and we get to this river. And now the diamonds that were up there are completed. And if you have a queen in your hand, you make a straight. You know, sitting with a king there, you're worried about all those things. That's my window to steal it.
Surely we don't expect to see him. Check.
He bets 125,000. Triple barrel bluff.
Yeah, I mean, here we're betting out 125,000. You're almost holding your breath saying, fold, fold, fold.
In your mind, this would be a hero call of Herculean proportions. If Peter finds this one.
No.
Oh, wow.
Oh, that feels good. You are American Psycho. Feels so much better to show the bluff than show good hand.
Oh, Jesus.
Peter can't breathe. A.J.
that was rough. When Alan Keating gets it in his head that he's going to try to win a pot, he's hard to stop.
With this hand and me showing the bluff, both me and Peter and the rest of the table can kind of feel the tension growing between Peter and
I. Ryan Feldman is a poker producer by day and night and a poker player by day and night.
Oh, Ryan Feldman. Love him. Really, Like a transparent, honest guy. Man, is he expressive. You know, I swear in between every hand, I thought I heard him switch wearing himself or others on how they played their hands or how he played his hands, you know, probably in really bad shape. What do you got? Hold on. What is going on? How do you have Queen 10 on 449 for 15,000? This is one hand I really wish I had back. So here I am in the straddle. I have ace, king suited. It's just an unbelievable hand. Yeah, I'm going to put a big raise in there and try to win a big pot. Feldman comes in with some small cards, and so does Kulik. Here comes a board, ace high, which is just, you know, what you're looking for. I tried to look like I might have, like, a kings or queens and check there and get some information.
Feldman makes the stone nuts.
Now feldman bets out 80,000. Kulik calls. May seem like I've got an unbeatable hand, but, you know, there's some hands that I'd have no chance against. And unfortunately, Feldman has a straight. You know, in my mind, it looked like I had Kulik beat Feldman. I don't know if I have him beat or not. It felt better to raise out Kulik than call and let those draws continue.
Come on.
But in reality, I'm drawing dead, and I just threw away a quarter million dollars. Such is life.
I have over a million.
Oh, I have.
Oh, okay.
You have the nuts. Oh, okay. That's where you get the bad news. Oh, you have the nuts. Here's 250,000. Let me hand that over to you right now. Send that boat over.
Would you send that boat over.
Don't get up. I'll just, you know, count it out and throw it across the table. That's the silver lining us. Feldman gets a little reprieve from his punishing. David's also a Cool guy to play poker with. You know, he's, he's in there gambling, he's in there batting his hands, figuring out where he's at. You know, he's definitely a guy that fits into the game. Okay, this is great. I've got another chance of making a diamond flush like last time. And we got four people to the flop.
Maybe this is, this is the one.
Let's see.
And that's what you want. Same thing as last time, two diamonds.
It looks like it's an all David and Keating affair. Steve with a gut shot.
That 10,000 from Keating. Yep. David's in.
We miss our diamond here, but we can still buy our way out of this pot if we get him to fold. We put in 35,000, but David isn't going anywhere. And now we got one card to get the diamond. Miss. But I either check and give up and lose the pot or I try to make him fold his hand.
And normally when we have the ace of diamonds in Keating's spot, it's a very poor card for us to bluff with. However, the four straight running out is compelling.
Wanted to make it a bet that would be harder to call, so I just put them all in.
We can see all those cranberries and the sensual gaze over to Davis.
Sensual is right. That's a nice cranberry pie.
I hate to say it, but these are really fun moments too. You're waiting to find out your fate.
He is hard to read, Alan, because he's genuinely willing to die, willing to be embarrassed or not even feel such things. David picks it off. What a call.
Wow. Two double ups for David.
Yeah, he wins. Gotta pay him the money. 134,000 just on the river. That's a good call on his part. It's a good call and it's not an easy call, so that makes it a great call. Actually. I said to myself on the flop, I'm just gonna play this soft to let him bluff. And so I hated the run out, but I said I have to call because.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is known as the post win speech. What everyone loves to hear.
Everything to this point. The buildup, the anticipation, the fighting back and forth has led to this hand. I'm gonna probably show it to my grandkids
so I could do the scene again.
I'm ready to work, Jack.
One could say that's a lovely top Britney's wearing, right? Without it being. It's just a very nice, you know, beautiful, very classy.
All three of us are in there with no cards. Higher than a nine.
Three to the flop. Keating picks up a seven. Spades for Peter. 4,000 from Steve. Steve's at it again, man, he sure is fun. Peter. 13,000.
This is nice from Peter. If anybody can find a way in from here, it's Keating with just the seven. But just the seven.
You know, I'm kind of thinking, what can he have here, right? And I have a seven. So maybe if I just raise, I'll win the hand on the spot.
He's got some culiones, as we say. He's got. He does have a couple of big ones, AJ41 dimes.
There you go. And again, that's what's kind of fascinating about Keating. Is he tilted or is this a nice. Actually a brilliant identification of what's going on? Because look at the equities, AJ he has 62%. He knocked Steve out with. You know, he might have this situation read incredibly well. We just kind of can't know. But he is an enigma of the highest order. Meanwhile, Peter's in.
Yeah, he's in.
Now we're back to Peter. And my whole plan was for him to fold the flop. And when he calls, I'm stuck out of position against the conqueror. Gonna have to find my way out of it.
Six on the turn.
You know, here I don't really know what to do. I'm just trying to find my way out of this hand highlights one of the Chinese ten Commandments.
This should suck. Peter in.
No, definitely Peter not going anywhere. Yeah, Keating's still kind of representing King, seven suited. Ace, seven suited or three sevens.
So I put a pretty big bet out there, 58,000. You know, the reality of the situation is if he has pocket sevens or, you know, a two pair, I don't have one card to save me.
And once again, he does have the best hand. This is interesting.
Yeah, 58 dimes.
Peter could consider semi bluffing and raising right now or just calling. Oh, he does do it.
Oh, my word. 175,000.
And we are deep, deep in the ocean. About as far as you can go.
I'll tell you what, if Keating finds a way to continue here, he's made a believer out of me. I'm already a believer.
But yeah, this is great.
Well, he's, he's grabbing him. This is really something else from this guy. Say what you want, but this is somewhat outstanding from Keating. Can he fade it again on the river? Now it's a little interesting because Peter beats something like Jack, 10 of spades, but there aren't many Hands that he beats, he does go all in.
Oh, wow.
Fast as well.
Yeah. He knows four or five key phrases. Yeah. He bets the final bet, all the money. You know, it's gonna be almost a million dollar pot. If I call as much raising as he had done, he still hadn't convinced me that he had me beat.
If Keating calls here for me, this is one of the best hands of poker I've ever seen.
Oh, man.
Or one of the worst. That's the thing. It's such a fine line.
Yeah. Yeah. Might be the best or worst played hand of all time. There you go.
That's odd that he said that.
Great minds think alike.
Still a bit freaky. It is one of those hands, though.
I don't think when his whole cards were 97 of diamonds, he thought this pot would be upwards. It's 675.
He might have, but not on the ace, King, 764. But he read Peter as drawy on the flop. I believe
at the same time, when you call here and he shows you, you know, three of a kind or two pair, you just feel like a dummy. You feel like the dumbest person on the planet. I knew it was going to be one of the two. Yeah.
This guy's something else. This guy is a special talent. That was wild.
That was great. I love that. Good, good stuff.
I think the best part of that whole thing is, you know, waiting to show my hand, right? You make the call and he thinks, okay, you know, Allen must have called me with two pair or, you know, a good ace or something. And knowing that I have just a seven and I'm going to show it to him, it's like Christmas morning. Amazing. Wow.
By the way, Steve could care less.
Just shy of a million dollar pot. No big deal.
That's one of the coolest hands I've ever seen.
It was really something.
Look at you, Millie. I'd say it's the best plate handball.
Third pair for 235,000. Might be a call only Alan Keating can.
Today, Peter came in playing the conqueror, and I'm excited to see what kind of Peter we get tomorrow. So this is day two. Day one was a bloodbath, which I enjoyed, especially being on the top of it. I don't want to say who, but I'm going to try to rip someone's head off. I don't know if they'll see it coming. They should. Thank you for watching. That was our first episode. We had a lot of fun making it. We want to keep bringing more interesting stuff to you. I'll be reading all the comments and. And we're really excited about bringing this content, too. So tell me what you like, tell me what you don't like, and we'll grow this together like and subscribe if you don't like it. Don't downvote me. Thank you for watching.
