3 reasons why dogs hump! & castrations risks

Dogs hump for play, sex, or stress. A puppy castrated too early lost confidence and quit training. Testosterone matters for muscle and bone development, so vets should wait until a dog is fully mature.

Removing your dog's balls just because of excessive humping is not a good enough reason because there are so many other reasons why your dog would be humping everyone and everything. Here's 3 examples. Humping is a way dogs initiate play, and without socializing the dog more, they'll just stick to doing what they know. But also, humping is a part of play. One of the 4 Fs is fornication, and it's a behavior that dogs need to practice. Or they're humping everything around the house, like their bed, because every day they're really hyperactive. So therefore your dog every day is really stressed. Here's what happened to one of my clients back when I used to socialize around 20 puppies and dogs a week. Here he is playing with dogs for the first time and then they castrated him because a vet with no behavioral education at all said to. And here is him on his first session back, just so unconfident. And I never saw him again. And let's not forget testosterone is also for muscle and bone development. Can you guess which one of these two brothers was castrated far too young? What about these two brothers as well? Overall though, castration is actually completely fine if your dog's also completely fine and fully developed. And you also might have just learned there's a little bit more to dog behavioral issues than you might have originally thought. So if you want more than just quick fixes that don't actually last, consider following this page. Thank you.
