Meeting my team for the first time made me feel motivated.
I was worried about the situation, whether I will be able to relocate, whether I will be able to adjust myself within the environment. But somehow, when I reached the office and realized, no, I mean, I can do that.
My biggest worry, that is coordination. Before joining internship, I was introvert, but after completing my internship in TCE, I become the extrovert because in that internship I learned, I play so many games and I learned so many skills. For that I need to coordinate with the people, with the employees who are working here with my guidance.
My biggest worry joining was whether I could adapt to the new work environment, and I overcame it by accentuation and learning from my senior.
My colleagues helped me to show how the things work here.
Like in my language, I will say, "Aba diya, aap tak toh ji, ji tak toh bata bye." My teammates helped me settle in the fastest.
Their support and guidance and friendly nature made me feel comfortable from day one.

One moment that made me feel I belong was when my team appreciated my work on a project.

I learned the direction I direction that can I use to convert my dreams into the reality.
One achievement I feel very proud about when I was able to quickly to learn a new process and support my team in meeting a tight deadline.
As soon as I joined here, it's around almost 4 months I completed, and now the number of tickets resolved by me is across 200 and up.
I contributed in most of the projects, most of the drawings. Not just that, I received kudos for that also.

Myself, Uttam Patil. I am working as a General Manager in ADC department, and there are currently 4 people working under me under this category. We are ensuring that these people should not field separately. So we have given the similar opportunity, similar work to these people also, and we have seen that thing, they are, they are having the capability to perform similar to the other people working under the same property. Is the most important thing we have to really look into while working with these people. But looking after them and the mindset, we could able to see that anything can be possible. Just we have to keep the trust onto the people. Tata Group is always believing into the inclusiveness diversity, and to the excellence we have to reach out to them. So this is one of the program which we have to really look into this thing. We have to, we have to continue for the future as well.
Hi everyone, I am Biren. I am from HR department. I was always involved in the Open Doors program right at the designing stage. We were very lucky to get a set of few people with various skill sets. We had a very, very well-planned program chalked out for ensuring that they get inducted well, their internship goes very well. Coming to my team, uh, one person out of them was nominated, selected, and got qualified after the internship for the HR department. His name is Krishna Gupta, a fine boy, very intelligent one, very, uh, prompt. And, uh, if you just look at him at one glance, you will not even realize that what to look for. It looks like any one of us. So he carries himself in that kind of way. The boy was given the job of, uh, learning Excel, but he is a media savvy person. He already knows the market. He has knowledge of shares, he has knowledge of the world outside. I would say quite enlightened. Seeing him work in my team, I'm just wondering where is the word disability? There is no disability. We make them feel that you are as much as a part of the world, as much as any one of us. All of us are human beings, all of us are living beings, and I think we have equal right to not lose anything just because we come from some particular category.
Hi, my name is Papu Singh and I am Senior Manager in Corporate IT. I am leading team of 10 to 12 developers. Recently Tushar Dalvi joined my team 6 months back and now he is a part of our team and we are working with him. So recently when Tushar joined our team, there was concern like how he will adjust with us or we will adjust with him. But when he joined, there was no difference between us and him. He was able to understand everything as fast as we. He has very fast learning ability. He was able to grasp everything very fast. Like, I started assigning him tasks. Initially, I thought like, since he may take more time in completing the task, but it was exactly opposite. It was exactly opposite. He was able to finish task very quickly, even faster than other interns with no disability. Mentoring him was like very new experience to me. Me and our team also. This was the first candidate like joined in our team. Initially I thought it will be little difficult, but personally I was very satisfied after mentoring him. By working with intern from last 6 months, we learned that with a positive mindset, positive attitude, like anything can be achieved. I am Rajneel Pangarkar, General Manager IT. Rishikesh Mane is working with me. He has a disabilities, he cannot hear, also he cannot see. Okay, when we introduced him to our team, everyone was excited to get him on board, but we are more concerned about how to, what you can say, make him more comfortable, more relaxed whenever he works. Mentoring him, what you can say, remind us about the value of patience, empathy, empathy and encouragement. We learned that with the determination, okay, and a positive mindset, how the limitations can be transferred into the strengths.
Hi, I am Visalakshi. I am from Accelerated Delivery Center, known as ADC in TCE. If I really look back, I have not one single feeling but a mixture of various feelings. I am happy, I am proud, and I am also humble. This entire experience has taught, or it has evoked these kind of emotions in me. It's like we complain about things when we have everything. And they have these struggles and still they are able to lead their life with a smile in their face. So that is really a learning experience. Okay, when we think about TC's values, one is the employee dignity and respect. So these are the people, you can say that they are coming from a marginalized section of the society. We are teaching them and we are training them and we are getting them assimilated into the corporate world. And the other one is that, uh, we speak about organizational and the personal growth of the individual growth. So we train them, they are contributing, and they are also contributing not only for their growth but also for the organizational growth. So diversity is something which we really believe in, not only diversity, the entire thing of diversity, equity, and inclusion, because diversity can bring people onto the table, but how to make them feel included and And part of the team that is there, that is a major contributor towards the success of any kind of initiative.
