How I Made $4,000,000 with Instagram in 3 Years

A real estate investor shares how he built a multimillion-dollar business on Instagram in three years. He teaches specific value through case studies, keeps videos under 37 seconds, and uses Stories and ManyChat automation to capture leads. He spent $600K on events and claims $6.5M in Instagram monetization.
Posting content on social media and building a powerful personal brand isn't just about getting likes and followers. You can also leverage this to build a powerful business, make a real impact, and by the way, make a lot of money. So in today's video, I want to show you a private training that I did for a small group. This is off the cuff and totally raw. I just did this for one of my friends who runs a coaching group, and I was one of the people that came on the call to teach everybody my expertise, which is brand building and social media marketing. And by the way, I'm in mortgage and real estate. But this strategy works regardless of what industry you're in. So I'm going to cut to the clip right now, check it out, and it's about 30 minutes of just raw truth. It's not very fancy, but it's going to give you the real information that you need to succeed. Check it out and let me know in the comments what you think the variable of success is. Are you actually teaching something? So we can do two things on social. We can entertain or we can educate. One of the two E's right for me. Brad can tell jokes all day. He could do all kinds of shit. I'm not a comedian. I'm freaking. I'm an immigrant, bro. You know, I'm just here. But I have a ton of knowledge in my space. So many of you guys are experts in what you do, but the content isn't performing right or it's not reaching its full potential. And the way to fix that is to just truly teach something like, and do it in the way that you would normally do it. So let's just say, for example, me and Perry are sitting at a bar having a beer, right? And he's like, neil, tell me the real deal. Like, how'd you do X? And I would just tell you, like, just straight up tell you. The thing is, we talk too much because we want to over explain. We got a lot of knowledge we want to share. So for social, the videos that are going to do the best I found are 37 seconds or less. I've tested this across all these videos. You can go up to 90 seconds, by the way, in Instagram reels, but you want to make vertical video. This is Instagram reels, incidentally. These videos can work on TikTok, YouTube shorts, LinkedIn, you can put them everywhere. But I like Instagram because of the direct message feature and the fact that Instagram's biggest demographic of viewers, millennials. Millennials are the biggest generation in the history of this country and they got the most money to spend. They're in their peak buying years for whatever product or service you're offering. It works for everything. So this tactic is creating content in the feed that the platform will push. Right now, you know, Instagram is trying to catch up with TikTok. They're trying to push short form videos still. This has been going on for the past two years. They're still giving you free reach. I have a video that I recently made about a certain type of program to invest in real estate that did 8 million views. I didn't pay anything, it was free. I got other videos that have done a million views or 100,000 views or 10,000 views, it doesn't matter. It all works out in the, in the aggregate. But the thing is you have to teach something and then you have to have a good hook. So that first line that you say needs to capture people's attention, right? So we're going to put out videos that capture people's attention. So for example, Tina, you're talking about life insurance. So you want to give something specific. General knowledge is like this. I'm going to give you guys three tips to get the best life insurance policy. I'm going to give you three things between this, between, you know, the difference between whole life and term life and which one you should do, right? That's general. It can work if you have a good hook. But what you want to do is move into specific. So what I found is like, if you can get really specific, like, here's how I did this, here's how my client did this. So you guys are talking about, you know, Matthew's talking about commercial real estate, Tina's talking about life insurance, Michael's talking about video marketing, right? So Michael, if you have a client that has exploded their business using video marketing, make a real case study. Don't just give the three tips to make better videos. That's bullshit. Like nobody's going to watch the video anymore. You have to use specifics. So you could say, here's how my client did, had a 300% increase in business with this one video tactic and then hype it up. Did you see how I started today's call? Imagine if I just rolled up on here and I was like, hey guys, so today I'm gonna teach you some video stuff and hope you like it. You know, people are just gonna bounce. Like people check out of the call, nobody gives a fuck. I came on here and I said, look, the strategy I'm about to teach. You did this, this, and this. For me, I've generated this much revenue, and we should pay attention, like, grab them. You know, I don't want to say grab them by the balls, like Brad would say, but just grab people's attention. Okay, we have to cut through the noise. There's so many videos coming at the viewer. If you don't say something bold, say something important, like, nobody's gonna watch your video. So let's go the first line of this video, right? You know, you're talking about how to use gym equipment and exercise. Nobody cares about the product. They care about the result, right? So I'll give you guys the basic example. The ipod comes out, right? Everyone's talking about, here's the product, here's how many songs it stores. Here's all the features. This is all. These are this amazing product. How did Apple describe it? Thousand songs in your pocket, right? You're talking about the benefit of the product. So when you're talking about. Xdine's talking about gym equipment, show some results, and then the. The stuff that you use to get those results. So here's how my client got this. Here's how I did this. What if I told you that you could get this result? Would you only having to put in three workouts a week? Well, it's actually possible through this specific type of equipment. And then you get into it, right? So you could look down the barrel, like, look at the camera, teach this stuff. You could also do what Brad does, where he just has a freaking camera here all day and all of his meetings, he's just documenting what he's saying. So on this call right now, I'm just documenting what I'm saying. I have a video, a camera here too, right? We can chop this up and turn into videos. So if your content is teaching people things, it will work. Okay, so right now, some of you guys aren't teaching anybody anything. You're just posting videos. There's no real specific knowledge in it. It's not really going to help people, but if you can do that, it's going to work. Okay, so now what's the biggest misconception? Think about this. What are the things that people get wrong about what you do? What's something that you disagree with? Right? You know what Brad's really good at? He's good at giving his opinion. Okay, dude, some of you guys, I don't know what your opinion is on anything. It's just generic. It's too general. You see what I'm saying is this making sense to people. Do you understand what I'm saying? Like, you have to cut through the noise by saying, what do you. What are your true thoughts? What is Greg's true thoughts? Adam's true thoughts? Perry, what do you guys really think about X? So here's something that really grinds my gears about people in my industry. They do it this way, I do it this way. You know, here's the biggest lie that you've been told. Like, people want to watch it. They're curious. So that first line needs to make people curious, and then they'll watch the video. So really spend time. Like, you can even fuck up the rest of the video, honestly. But if that first two lines is good, people stick around and they watch it, and the algorithm shows it to way more people. So whatever that hook is, it's a written hook across the screen, and it's in the middle of a caption, it's the middle of a conversation, or you guys are just starting off your video that way. I don't. I didn't have a lot of meetings, like, and speaking engagements and all these things to document in the beginning. So when Brad's like, yo, document. Don't create. Just freaking. You be the content. I was like, well, the content is me sitting by myself in front of a fucking computer. I had nothing. I wasn't doing shit. So then what I have to do, I have to start doing things. I'm like, hey, I want to host an event. Then I start doing it, right? I want to speak on stage. I want to teach people what I know. Okay, well, I'm speaking to people. How many people are there? It's eight people. It's seven people. Who gives a fuck? You know? Just record it. The audience doesn't know whether there was eight people, 80 or 800 people. You can just document it. This is how you get good at this. You get the reps, right? So in my first videos, I'm teaching things. There was literally seven or eight people in the room. Like, it doesn't matter. Some of you guys think you can't start. You can start now. You can be on a Zoom with 15 people and still make an impact, right? So start recording these things, where you're teaching things. Tip, teaching tips, all these things. And then if you want, just start looking at the camera and teaching. And so pick those first lines. Super important that you really capture the audience with that hook. If you don't have a good hook, the video's dead. Nobody watches it. Especially if you don't have an audience yet. So if you guys are trying to build. And by the way, they will show your videos to strangers. I have built the audience on Instagram where I've monetized it to the tune of that $6.5 million I was telling you. And I haven't run an ad. This is all just organic for free. Instagram will show your videos to people if you make better videos. So that's the number one thing is making better content. How do you capture your own video and sound on somebody else's stage? Yes. Bring a camera crew. Someone's like, I can't afford a camera crew, bro. Just ask somebody in Vegas. There are people, they'll come out for 500 bucks and record your whole session, mic you up. It doesn't cost that much money. You don't have to hire a full time videographer. You can roll up and do these events. You need a camera at home. The only camera you need is an iPhone. You need a light, a mic, and an iPhone to record these videos at home or your office and then out in the field. Just pay a videographer to come with you. Now you're creating the videos and I want to give you this conversion tactic that has been super valuable for me. Okay? The first thing is to be intentional about the videos. Don't just do it half ass. Actually focus on being a better creator, better teacher. First things first. When you're making these videos with your, with your phone, wipe the lens. It's on your face. Your hair is on it all day. There's just oils on it. So most of the time people are shooting their videos. It looks like chapstick across the lens, like it's not sharp. These phones are incredibly powerful cameras, but you have to clean the lens. So just do that as a first. Anytime, taking a picture, a quick video wipe off the lens, okay? That's going to make your videos 10 times sharper. And then I'm telling you right now, people treat you better if your content looks better. Just like Brad said, people treat you better if you're in better shape. It's not to be a dick. It's just the facts. This is just truth. If my videos look like shit, I would not be sitting here right now. So the videos need to look sharp, okay? You got to clean them up. And you don't need to buy thousands of dollars of equipment. All you need is a light mic and this iPhone or Android if you're weird, okay? You just need a phone. Okay? Now you shoot these videos, you need to get an editor edits are $30. You can do it yourself. If anybody needs a referral to an editor who will do the videos, the editing, just like the kind you see on Brad Social, my social. Just shoot me a dm, I'll connect you with an editor. I've gone through like 30, 40 of these guys on Upwork and Fiverr. I found three or four that work really good. I'll give you the names and the DMs and you can just go ahead and edit. Have them edit your videos for 20, 30 bucks, depending on where they are. So now you're getting your videos out, you're putting them out. You're going to start getting more traction. If you are consistent, you'll get more views, more people see you. Now you need to use Instagram stories to convert. You could put calls to action at the end of your videos, but for me, I found it doesn't. The videos don't get as much reach when I'm trying to sell in that video. So, for example, the video is just about teaching a certain thing. I'm going to cut it off. I'm not going to say call me for all your mortgage needs at the end of the video, right? Five, five, five. You know, that would just kill the vibe of the video. I'm just going to teach them a certain program or a certain topic or teach them about a concept and then cut it off hard at the end. It's almost like you, you almost cut it off too early. Like I told you. That prime length was 37 seconds. Those are the best performing videos. Or shorter because you actually get people to finish the video. It's hard, just math. It's harder to get someone to watch you for 60 seconds than it is for 30 seconds. So just make the video shorter and you'll get more completions, meaning you get more views. Okay, so now that you're doing this better, you're going to use Instagram stories. Now? Most people use Instagram stories the wrong way. They just pop on whenever they need something. Hey man, if you want to come to my program, here's the link. Hit the link and sign up like you want to show things that are going on. I called it Build in Public. What are you working on? What's important to you? Show that in your story. Do you know this? People don't support your programs and your products and your business. It's not because of the actual products. It's because of you. You, the individual is what people will support you with. Right? So you think about this. Why is it that most people kind of don't succeed in this because nobody understands that it's important to you. So if this isn't important to you, why the fuck would it be important to me? On the other side, watching the videos. So let people know, like, what are you working on this year? So this year, like, say it publicly on your Instagram story. So just wanted to pop on here, you know, everyone always says, just wanted to pop on. Happy Thursday. And then you start rambling and then you get into it. That's okay. If you say that, just trim that shit off. Because nobody really cares about the greeting. Just get to the point of like, what do you want to say? So you would start that story, say, look, guys, this year I'm going to do things a little different. I'm going to be posting a lot more helpful content in my feed. Hopefully you guys like it. If you have feedback for me, please let me know. If you have questions that you think I should do videos on, please let me know. I'm going to be doing a lot more of this. You're going to see a lot more coming from me. Second thing is, I'm really working on growing my business this year. Here's the things I'm doing. And you know what? I'm going to say this right now on camera. This is going to be this. I'm going to get to this goal. I'm publicly saying that, like, put yourself out there, make a promise, make a bold prediction to the people. And you think this sounds cheesy, but I've done that many times, and you rise to the occasion. So, for example, I was like, look, I'm going to launch this event. We're going to do this much in sales. It's going to be a massive event. It's going to be big time. Now, I've made that commitment, and you can work towards it. And I'll tell you what, right now, everybody on the screen right now, everybody here is really good at letting themselves down, including myself. I'm one of the boxes, too. You didn't do your workout. You didn't eat the food, right? You put yourself last. I put my family ahead of me, the kids, my customers, and I'm on the bottom sometimes of that thing. How many of you guys feel like that in your hierarchy? Right? That's me. So, you know what? If you promise other people things, you'll probably come through for them before you come through for yourself. So if I told my kids I'm going to be somewhere or do something for them, there's no way I'm flaking, right? It's just the way it is, right? If I make a commitment to somebody else, I'll show up. You make a commitment to yourself, sometimes you flake. So use this to your advantage. Make a public statement on social media. Tell people, here, here's the things I'm working on. Here's what I'm doing. This is called building in public. Okay? People will follow along to support you. I was doing this when I had those eight people to show up to my classes two weeks ago. The thing Brad's talking about, a thousand people showed up, flew across the country to Las Vegas to come to this event, world class event. I spent half a million, $600,000. At the end, they told me it's half a million, we blew out the budget, whatever. I don't want to talk about that because it makes me mad now. But $600,000 you spent on this event, right? And world class events. People flying in from all over the country. Amazing. I told people I was going to do this. I told them so they've been following along and they support you. People came to the event, just said, dude, I've been watching, you know, for the last couple years supporting you, man. I just love, love this. Watch the journey. People love following along and they'll support whatever product or service you offer. Tomorrow you could say, you know what? I'm getting into the insurance business. You'll have a list of clientele. I don't even know anything about insurance. I could launch that tomorrow. You know what Brad said recently? He said he took him this many years to get to, you know, x millions of dollars in revenue with his first business. Then he launched three more that did more than that in just the short period of time. Why? Because of personal brand. So there's going to be doors that are going to be open for you that you don't even know exist yet. You think about this like, there's the things you know, there's the things you know that you need to do more of, like content marketing, health, all these things that you know about and you're just like, dude, I need to do more of that. And then there's this other category of things you don't even know exist yet. There's a lot more of those doors that are going to be open for you as you start doing this, okay? Because you're just going to connect with more people. I had no idea I was going to be doing a mastermind and doing all these events and coaching and Educating. I was doing it for having fun. And all of a sudden it turned into this multi, multimillion dollar business. Right? So now you're going to start posting the. The commitment to people. Okay. And showing behind the scenes, building in public. I found this out, guys, if you don't share anything in your personal life, it's way less effective to build your personal brand. People don't want to just connect with a robot. You have to show what's going on in your personal life. So there's four Fs. Friends, family, faith, fitness. And you could replace fitness with anything else that you're into, hobbies wise. But you have to show these things. These are the things that people really follow along with. And when I say family, it could be your kids, it could be your freaking dogs. People love dogs. Incidentally, I don't have any, but I just noticed those, like, people really follow along. So whatever it is you're into, you have to show more of this and you feel like, neil, I don't want to show my kids on social media. That's fine. Don't show your kids, but show everything else. If you're like, I don't want to. My wife doesn't want any of that stuff. Okay, fine, show other things of what's going on. But if you don't show anything of what's going on personally, this strategy doesn't work as well, and it may not work at all because people, friends, family, faith, fitness. Oh, sorry, not friends. Friends and family are in the same category. Food, family, faith, fitness. Okay? And food. You're like, dude, what does it matter if I post about food? Are you fucking crazy, Neil? Dude, you guys will laugh. I have different recurring things in my Instagram stories where I just show the food I'm eating and then I show the bad food, the desserts, the fucking temptation, all the shit that you're not supposed to eat. I call this contraband. I've been posting about contraband for the past three years, and then people literally bought a product or service from me because of those posts, because those are the conversation starters. I run into people all the time and they're like, neil, got you some freaking contraband, bro. What about the contraband? You better not be getting it. Like, whatever. They're just joking with me because they've been watching your Instagram story. They don't necessarily come up to me and go, dude, Neil really liked the video you made about rental properties. Yeah, they do. But this conversation starter was the personal stuff. Friends, family, faith, food, fitness. And then if you're not into fitness, replace that with something else. Okay, so now you're showing more the personal life. You're showing what you're working on for your business. It's important to you. What is important to you? I don't know. For most people on social media, I have no fucking idea what is important to you. And how could it be important to someone else if they don't see it important to them? So you can write your own narrative. You can write your own story. You create this whole thing. Now, some people could use this to lie. I'm telling the fucking truth. And people could tell over time. You can only bullshit for so long, so if you tell people what you're really doing, they'll connect with you. The number one thing I get from people at events is, dude, I love how real you are. You know what Brad's T shirt says at all his companies? Real people are connected to people who keep it real. Don't bullshit. Okay? So give your true opinions. Start posting more of your thoughts. Don't say no for the audience. I was, dude, I do this all the time. I'd record something with the phone and then I'd say, you know what? Nobody's going to be interested in that. And then I don't post it. How many of you do that? Honestly, right? I do that all the time. Just fucking post it. It's on Instagram stories. You know what the bar is? People post pictures of dirt on Instagram stories. You know what I mean? Like, dude, they take a picture of, like, literally the ground and accidentally post it. So the bar is very low. It's 24 hours. It goes away. The feed I would definitely put on a higher pedestal, like, make those videos. Videos that you would want to be part of your portfolio of videos. But stories, bro, just post more and keep them short again. Shorter is better. On stories, people are tapping through. You don't want to come up with a 2, 3 minute vlog on stories. You want to know, Tina's asking, how much business should I share? How much personal should I share? I would keep it like this for the feed. It's got to be 80. 20 Instagram feed. Okay? 80% are related to your expertise. 20% is about this For Instagram stories, whatever you want, you can do 50, 50, 60, 40, 70, 30, whatever you like. Because it's gonna go away anyways. It just expires after 24 hours. But in your feed, when someone comes up on your page, it should be majority of what they came here for. So, like, if you see one of Brad's viral videos and you never knew him at all, and it just popped up in your feed, Instagram algorithm served you up one of Brad Lee's videos, and you watch it like, damn, dude, I like this guy. It's kind of funny. I like his thoughts on this topic. Cool. Go to his page. There's 100, 200,000 more videos just like that one. Imagine if you came to his page and it was dogs and him hiking and then him playing video games. You'd be like, all right, this is chaos. Humans. Viewers on social media are attracted to confidence and clarity. They're repelled by confusion. If your page is confusing, if your offer is confusing, people bounce. It's gotta be clear what it is that you do. How do you really help people? What's your content about? Should be clear on the feed. And then, like I said, in your stories, you can go a multitude of ways. Okay, so now in your stories, you're doing this. You're posting, you're telling people what you're doing. You're showing them behind the scenes. You're building in public. Right now, you want to sell some shit. Okay, what it is, you want to send people to a webinar. You want to tell them about a new product or service offering. You want to get more clients. Okay, Like I said, most people just pop on stories and they're like, yo, buy my stuff. Click the link here, here's a flyer for a program. Go here. It's just faceless. It's. It's not even important to you, right? And so it doesn't convert very few people. Click on it. Like, you might get a few people, but for me, I get way more people if I do it this way. So first story of this sequence is going to be success story or a news article that you break down. Like something relevant or some lesson. Okay, so for example, I'll give you guys an example in real estate. Could be an article that came out that says home prices are becoming increasingly unaffordable, the American dream is dying, or something like that, right? I'll post that article and I'll give my take on it. I'll be like, you know what? There's a recent article from Bloomberg says that home prices are starting to go up again and the American dream might be dying for people. It's actually true. It's becoming very expensive to own real estate in this country, and interest rates are high. It's making it difficult. Right? So what do you do about it? Right? So you start with that first. So that could be a news article or something like that. Another example of that, what you start with could be a success story. So I want to show you one of our clients. They just closed on this deal right here. This is amazing deal. They came to us, they didn't even know if they would actually qualify to buy it. But we ended up doing this, this, and this. And now I'm so excited because they just closed on this deal today. Couldn't be more happier for John and Susan. Cool. Give that success story even better. If they're in it and they say something, whatever, make it short and sweet. If you have a client that has recently won something, something, somebody that you helped, okay, so that's the first story, a success story or something, some piece of news. Next you ask for people if they're interested in getting this, in doing something. What do you do next? So the next story is something like this. So honestly, guys, when I show you this thing, it's to inspire more of you. Because so many people out there are thinking they can't do this. They're always saying no. They're always thinking, oh, it's easy for them to say, they can do it, I can't do it. Well, the truth is you can do this and you just need to have the right information. So what I've been doing right now is I'm putting out some information if you. If it's a goal of yours to own your first property this year, or maybe you want to buy your first rental property, if that's your goal in 2023. I put together some information on this. DM me the word home and I'll shoot it over to you. DM me the word invest and I'll send it over to you. DM me the word fit and I'll send you this guide. You need something of like that you're going to give them for free. And it could be a PDF, it could be just an email that you've typed out that you literally copy and paste every time, or if you use automation, you can just send it out automatically. But it's got to be something just simple. People don't have a step in the middle. You have this and then you have your closed deal here. There's a whole gap in the middle of people who make a buying decision. You got to give people a step in the middle. For most people now, there's always going to be people that will make the journey really quick on their end and buy, but there's just enormous amount of People, a massive amount of people that you don't even know about that would take advantage of a step in the middle. It just needs to be scalable. So that's why I love video, because this can be going on while you're sleeping, right? While I'm sleeping, I'm educating someone in the feed. They watch the Instagram story, they DM me the word home. I use a software called manychat M A N Y C H A T that will automate the response based on the word that they DM you. So they DM me the word home. Manychat says, hey, John, thanks for dming me. Yeah. What's your email captures the email, shoots them over the thing and then now we have a flag for follow up. Automatically follows up the next day to book an appointment or. Or even in the PDF or the email, it says, if you'd like to talk more about this, here's the next step, right? So you just give them this step using automation. In the beginning, you don't have many chat. You're only going to get five people to DM you anyways, so what does it matter, right? You don't need like all the software and all the tools and all this stuff. You could just start. So that's step two is like make a call to action. Most people put a link in there to send them to a landing page. Instagram doesn't want you to leave Instagram, so those stories get less views. Also, people going to landing pages, they're in the mode of just watching Instagram stories and they don't necessarily want to leave. So you'll get people to go, but not as many people leave to go to these pages. So you can use those landing pages every once in a while, but for the most part, don't send every single person away from the platform. Keep them in Instagram, okay? And the way you do that is just ask them to DM you. Here's what I found out, guys. People are dumb on social media, okay? I'm just being like real or either they're dumb or they're in a dumb state of mind. Think about yourself when you're just scrolling. Like after tonight you have some dinner, you're with your family, you're just scrolling on social media, watching videos, looking at stories. You're not like peak intelligence mode, right? You're not like, just like ready to take the sat, you know what I mean? Like, you're not like that. You're just more just down in just a down state of mind. So make it really easy remove all the friction. So what I found is by telling people one specific thing to do, they'll go ahead and do it. And then I found out this, this is kind of funny. The word needs to be easy to spell. I put like a word that was a little bit longer, way less conversions. And so it just proves to me like, people are just freaking lazy. They're dumb or they're lazy. I don't know what it is, but you have to make it simple. So like five, six letters max, easy to spell, you know, and then that way the automation picks it up. You could put variations of the word, by the way, in your automation, but home invest, simple words fit. You know, any of these things. Yeah. And so Tom's talked about, you know, if you don't have 200 followers and only a few people are going to see your story, that's fine, you could do this and you keep building it. I used to do this with a small amount of people and then it just kept growing brick by brick. By the way, if you had, if you ever hired a service to run your page or they've done some fake shit, spam, fake followers, bought this, bought that, you're probably going to have to start a new account. Unfortunately, I did that. I made that mistake three, four years ago. And I had to start a new account three years ago because I hired this company to run it and they fucked it all up. They added spam bots, engagement group. It just ruins your engagement. And then now when you post, nobody sees your content because they've got you in jail. Almost like it's just your account has somebody's thumb on it. And we've tried to turn this around. It's very difficult to turn it around. So you could try and remove all the people, but the fastest way is just to start a new account. Tell the people on your current account to go follow your new account and then just keep shoveling there and then shut down the other one. That's the best way to do it. I put it off for way too long. As soon as I did it, it was like off to the races on the new account. So if that's you on this call, you need to do that. You know, that's why your videos aren't going to help or aren't going to reach more people. Okay, so now DM you the word, right? And then give them something of value, something simple. If it's a free guide, it's a tutorial, it's a PDF, it's a link to a video, whatever it is. And then now follow up. Hey, what'd you think of the guide? Would love to. If you have any questions, we can jump on a call. Here's a link to book a strategy call with our team and then you can move forward. Or if you're brick and mortar, maybe send them an offer. You've now captured them on your email list as well, by the way, and you can move forward. Another thing I've noticed is people's bios don't have a clear call to action. Like, it doesn't even say what you really do or how you could help people. So you need to clearly say, like, I, I'm teaching tips on X, I help people with X. I help people build their influence with video. You know, like, whatever it is, I help people get fit, you know, in the least amount of time. The most efficient way of doing X, whatever it is. Right, so just put that in there and then make a singular call to action. Sometimes people put a link. It's like one of those link in bios or link trees. It's got seven things on it. If you give people seven options, they do nothing. So what is the one thing you want them to do? Join your email list, Sign up for this offer. So just change the link out to just going to one thing at a time. When it's my event, one thing I'm promoting. When it's this email list, one thing. So do that and you'll see your results kind of take off. So now you're posting this in stories, you're asking them to DM you. You can now follow up with every single person, by the way, who reached out. You and your team literally has people raising their hand. So if I said to people, how many of you are ready to buy and would like to meet with me? I'll get a couple. If I said, how many of you would like this free resource? You don't have to speak to me, I'll just send it to you, no problem. Right. That's the what's what's implied way. More people's hands go up. Now you've identified all these people who would like to do business with you. So I've done that over and over and over for the last several years and built an, like, a massive list and a community of people who are interested in buying from us. And then when you have an offer, you've got warm leads to offer to. Nothing's worse than offering things to cold leads. I want warm people who already raised their hand, but how do you get people to raise their hand? If you're asking them to make the whole customer journey in one swoop, you're only going to get this tiny, tiny fraction. It's the bottom of the sales funnel. Why do big brands do really well? Because they have a massive top of the funnel. People who are not yet ready to buy but just know about the product or service, we lack that in small business. We lack that as individuals. If you create a little bit of that using Instagram, using social media, using your personal brand, you pick up so much more business. Because now you have all these people at the top of the funnel that are dropping into the bottom at any given time. And then you offer something special, like a July 1 sale. August, it's. What is today? August 2? Like yesterday it could have been like, hey, it's August 1, we're getting, or whatever. It's the start of this month. We're doing this thing today, Flash sale. For anybody who's interested, here's the offer. More people are going to be interested if you're interested in doing this. DM me the word, whatever. More people are interested because they've already raised their hand. They've already got your free resource. So this takes just a little bit extra time. Nobody does it. So then it works. It's a fucking gold mine. I've never seen anything like it. I've been doing business for 22 years. Whatever. I can't even remember now. It's just two decades plus. I have never seen anything like this in the last three years because very few people post helpful content. And every week, 52 weeks a year, very few people give a helpful resource. They don't even have a lead magnet. And then even fewer people follow up. If you do those three things, you win. There is literally no chance you don't get results. It's just a matter of how hard do you want to go. So for me, I'm kind of like a nerd. I get into all this stuff. I have add. I'm, like, into it. So I want to go harder. I want to, like, find the next hack. I want to learn, like, how do I hack people? How do I get, like a few more seconds of views on this video? If I do, I win. I get way more views overall, right? So I'm just in the weeds learning about this stuff and I'm sharing with you guys what's working in real time. This is not some theory. I'm posting a video. I just post a video today that's gonna help me get more clients tomorrow, Right? And so I'm doing this. If you guys need help with any of this stuff, just shoot me a dm. Happy to send you guys some information, see how I can help you.
